The selection of fish is delightful. However, earning coins is very slow and my aquariums look quite bare because I can’t afford decor. There needs to be a better selection of backgrounds, as well. But my biggest complaint are the ads. They pop up every 3 minutes and take at least that long to wait through. I spend more time watching ads than playing. I’ve found it’s faster to close the game when an ad pops up and re-enter, but doing that every 3 minutes gets old fast. Was feeling kind of attached to my virtual fish and felt compelled to keep them “alive.” But in the last couple of months ads have interrupted feeding time. For 6 years, I was able to feed the fish without any ad interruptions. Why now? My pleasant feeding experience always now gets interrupted by a vulgar ad that has profanity and pornographic content. Not worth even 7 years….unless, are you going to restore to the way it was? I am about to delete…..feeding my cute fish is not worth being flashed with the (“I’m going to f—- multiple partners”) visual every single time, did not sign up to look at that. However, some fish aren’t accurately sized. Fish •Sizing: The sizing is a bit strange with Fish Farm 3, for example an Arowana is the about the same size as a Discus, when in reality, Arowana are about three feet long max, and Discus are about 8 inches max. 6.5/10 •Pricing: Coins truly aren’t an issue, however some fish cost Fish Bucks. I mainly don’t have a problem with that, but I dislike when schooling fish, like the Discus, cost 30-ish Fish Bucks. Fish Bucks are pretty difficult to obtain/earn, but it’s pretty much the point. If you log in daily and are a good guess/know the algorithm, you can rack them up fast. 7/10 Leveling/Currency •Leveling is generally straightforward, EXP showing up top in a bar and showing how far you have to go until the next level 10/10 •Earning EXP is simple, buy and sell fish and breed/cross-breed fish. Higher levels take forever though. 7.5/10 •Currency is a simple concept, the coins being fairly easy to earn. Fish Bucks, on the other hand are more difficult to earn. Learning the algorithm of the daily reward is pretty simple, but it’ll take a few days to know where the Fish Bucks could be. Overall, currency is fine. 8/10 Aquariums •Freshwater/Saltwater Aquariums: I like these flat tanks with everything in me, even though the zooming/moving as a little strange. 9.5/10 •Jellyfish/Ocean Aquariums: These tanks are reverse cylinders. I dislike them. I won’t ever purchase these tanks, mainly because of the shape for the Jellyfish, and the shape and the sharks for the Ocean. I love sharks, don’t get me wrong, but Fish Farm 3 could really have just made small aquarium sharks and eels accessible for the Saltwater aquariums. 2/10. Stocking: I mean, if you’re educated in what can/can’t go together in a tank, you could make a semi-realistic tank (semi because of the sizing of the fish lol), however if you don’t understand what can/can’t go together, your tank could end up with an Arowana, a school of Zebra Danios, and a few snails. I mean, it’s look nice, but I prefer making realistic tanks. Overall: This game is enjoyable and has consumed countless hours of my life.
