Why, you ask? Because for some unknown reason, the developers decided to change the “My Feed” sorting algorithm to only show the most popular posts from my bowls within around a month, meaning that every time I open the app I see the same 4-5 posts over and over again even when they’re 2 weeks old. I’ve even gotten notifications of “trending new posts” that turn out to be the same week old posts I’ve seen a dozen times already. Basically the only way for me to see new content is to go into my individual bowls but even then I have to sort through the flood of basic/low engagement posts to try and find the ones with thoughtful or interesting discourse. It’s to sell the data to your employer. The app itself leaves a lot to be desired. For a week now I’ve been asked to update or confirm personal information that could be used to identify me with no means of using the app until I provide the information demanded. Then there’s the lack of customer support. I can’t post comments in the app, has also been going on for a week, and there’s no customer support to reach out to for assistance. If I’m blocked or banned for some BS reason, I’d like to know. If you open a bowl or conversation link from your email, for months it’s taken you to the App Store to open the app from there. No trace of the original bowl or conv. Stuck at birthday which takes me directly to my Apple ID on my iCloud. No reviews for a yr? If they don’t fix this, would recommend not to use this app. Frustrating and a waste of time ### 1/5 — Went downhill *2026-07-07, version 6.65.1* This used to be where you can ask questions about life (dating, parenting, etc.) and you get answers from an educated pool of your consulting peers. Now that they have opened the app to all kinds of professions, the answers that you get are very different from before. If you want to change careers or explore another, just apply to that bowl. You’ll be surprised how welcoming and relevant they are. Join the bowl for your city, or the city you’ll be moving to, or considering moving to. Get into the social scenes, cultures, housing options, make connections, make friends. Post or respond in the Bowls. It’s a paradigm changing space.
