## What is Fishing Log & Catch Tracker?

Your catches, your spots, your log — and nobody else's business.

Fishing Log is a private fishing journal for anglers who just want to keep a record. No account. No feed. No followers. Nothing uploaded. Your log lives on your phone and stays there.

LOG A CATCH IN SECONDS
Species, weight, length, bait or lure, and a photo. Pick from 93 built-in freshwater and saltwater species — bass, trout, salmon, pike, walleye, catfish, crappie, bluegill, perch, carp, muskie, steelhead, snook, redfish, flounder, tuna and more — or add your own in a tap. Tag how you caught it: spin, fly, ice, troll, bottom, kayak, shore or boat. Mark it kept or released, note the conditions, and set the time it hit.

TRIPS
Group your catches into trips. Name the water, set the dates, add your notes, and the trip view lists everything you landed on it. Across a season your log starts answering the question every angler actually has: which water is worth the drive?

YOUR SPOTS STAY SECRET
Save the places that produce, with optional coordinates you type in yourself and notes on depth, structure and how they fish. This app never asks for your location and never records it. Your spots never leave the device, and there is no social feed for them to leak into. For a lot of anglers that is the entire reason to keep a paper log book — this is that log book, on your phone.

PERSONAL BESTS
Your heaviest and your longest fish are tracked for every species, kept separately, because the longest pike you ever caught is not always the heaviest one. Beat either and the app tells you the moment you save the catch.

SEE WHAT IS WORKING
• Catches by species, ranked
• A season heatmap showing which months actually produce for you
• Your most productive bait and lure
• Catches by method — fly, spin, ice, troll and the rest
• Catch rate per trip
• A monthly recap of the catches, species and trips you logged

A log only pays off when you read it back. These are built to be read back.

IMPERIAL OR METRIC
Log in pounds and ounces with inches, or kilograms with centimetres, and switch whenever you like. Your entries are kept in the unit you typed them in, so a 5 lb 4 oz bass still reads 5 lb 4 oz after a hundred unit switches.

FOR EVERY KIND OF FISHING
Ice fishing, fly fishing, kayak fishing, bank and shore fishing, boat and offshore — the log does not care how you got there. Freshwater lake, river, pond and creek, or salt from the surf, pier and inshore flats to bluewater.

THE LOG IS NEVER LOCKED
Unlimited catches and unlimited trips — the log itself is never gated. Personal bests, the core stats and your spots are all there. No ads anywhere in this app: nothing interrupts you right after you land a fish.

EVERYTHING ELSE IN THE LOG
• Photos on every catch
• The full stats pack and the daily Insight card
• CSV and PDF export of your entire log
• Custom species of your own

WHAT THIS APP DELIBERATELY DOES NOT DO
It does not forecast anything, does not predict bite times, and does not tell you what the rules are where you fish. It is a log book, not an oracle. Always check your own local rules before you go.

WORKS ANYWHERE
Offline by design, because the water is where the signal is not. Back your log up to a file you keep yourself and restore it on a new phone. There is no cloud account to sign into, because there is no cloud.

No accounts. No feeds. No sharing. Your catches and spots stay on your phone.
