## What is Fishing Notes?

FishTrail is a private fishing logbook for anglers. It helps you record spots, catches, weather, gear setups, trip notes, and personal progress across lure, shore, boat, stream, and everyday fishing trips.

Your records are stored primarily on your device. Fishing spot coordinates are private by default and are never published automatically.

Key features:
- Today conditions: view current Apple Weather data including temperature, pressure, precipitation, wind direction, and wind speed; unavailable data is clearly identified
- Fishing spots: mark locations on a map and save water type, target fish, tags, notes, and safety reminders
- Catches and trips: log species, quantity, size, weight, photos, spots, gear, and recorded conditions
- Gear management: organize rods, reels, lines, lures, bait, nets, and accessories, then save reusable setups
- Review and achievements: explore your own records, trends, achievements, and experience progress
- FishTrail Pro: unlock advanced statistics and CSV/JSON data export
