I find it most useful when we are out ice fishing and others are ready to leave and I show them the major feeding time for the afternoon/evening. We generally end up with a flurry of activity during these times. Once it’s over we pack up. Deleting new one. ### 1/5 — All App Developers take note! *2019-11-20, version 2.0* No matter what you think of what this app does or doesn’t do.. which unless you are a true Solunar believer is marginal anyway.. it uses a very unique method for selecting your location of interest.. you basically move the map under a set of crosshairs. That’s it., done.. it knows where you are. No zip codes.. no city and state.. no placing a pin that never seems to go where you touch. EVERY SINGLE APP that requires you to select a location should use this method. The developers of this app have truly nailed it for this function. Bravo! New item.. it appears the date select function no longer works in iOS 13.**. Please address.. Update.. why do they always do that.. the one feature that i think pits this app far and away ahead of any other like function app... has been basically deleted.. modified.. ruined.. you needed a new valve stem cover and you threw away the car.. i take back everything i said in paragraph one.. ### 1/5 — App stopped working *2019-11-10, version 1.2* The date selector stopped working. You can even save your favourite fishing spots and get a more up to date bite time so you just drop your rig and enjoy the action. I have found that it also works as well when out hunting and for the farm work, easy to find the cattle when they are having a feed. ### 5/5 — Appsz *2021-09-23, version 3.1.0* I find this app extremely helpful when planning a fishing trip ### 5/5 — Excellent and precise major-minor fishing predictions *2020-09-26, version 3.1.0* 2 hour major fishing predicted times are calculated to straddle “moon up” (highest) or “moon down” (lowest) times. I.e. 1 hour before and 1 hour after the moon phase. This the only App I know that calculates this correctly. Other programs incorrectly show the two hour fishing time starting at the moon phase time - so you are on the water 1 hour late. Those people that give this app a bad rating obviously know nothing about solunar calculations.
