## What is FishPass?

Fish Pass is the fastest way to purchase fishing on rivers and lakes in the UK.

Based upon the successful Westcountry Angling Passport (WAP) scheme, that has run in Devon and Cornwall for nearly 20 years, Fish Pass brings this system into the digital age with a stylish and friendly interface.



Fish Pass offers fishing for wild brown trout, sea trout, salmon and grayling in unrivalled surroundings as well as a multitude of coarse venues.
Fish Pass has completely replaced the old Westcountry Angling Passport tokens, allowing you to purchase tokens in advance of your day’s fishing and simply scan a code at the river to convert your tokens into a day ticket. No paper, no pen, and your catch returns can be filled in the app too.
 
Browse the beats available with photos, catches, tackle and tactics. Detailed mapping of parking and the exact banks you can fish from.
Top up your account with new tokens with your debit or credit card.


Catch returns must be filled as per the rules of WAP and this is as simple as a couple of drop down fields and a few words typed out if you feel the need.
Photos of your prized catch can be uploaded or problems that you have encountered on the river like possible pollution or invasive species.

Used the App recently for a weeks holiday in Cornwall.  Went on 3 different bears all through fish pass.  Works perfectly, download and purchase tokens, drive to the beat, scan the QR code at the beat and go fishing….superb!  I’ll be using next year, shame more waters don’t offer this service

Have been using this app for a few years now and from not long after its launch. It works well and provides a convenient way to find and book the fishing beats. It also allows you to carry tokens over from one year to the next so they don’t expire like the previous paper tokens. Glitches get sorted out quickly and there are tweaks as needed from time to time, so it’s well managed. Happy to give it five stars.

Tried to register over a 12 hour period to buy a day pass.  Multiple error messages.  Apparently this App is notoriously poor.  Off to a fishing shop to buy a paper pass instead.
