Just wish there was the option to add multiple fish for one GPS location for when your anchored up and reeling them in. Maybe in the next update? ### 4/5 — Pretty Good *2018-03-10* App is great for keeping track. I think my biggest suggestion would be to have an option to track quantity of fish caught. If you catch 30 fish on one lure it would be nice to be able to track that instead of entering 30 entries. ### 4/5 — Fish tale *2017-09-13* Customer response was good when I was having problems. The lure list is a bit wonky though and the list similar to the lure list could be redesigned, but overall worth the investment. I echo another reviewer that requests iCloud syncing between devices. The interface is functional, but it looks like it was made by a programmer and not by a graphic designer. I love the recent update that it grabs weather info for you. Very nice! I'd love to see gps integration. Also a big "got a bite" button you can quickly hit when out trolling without entering a full log. Another feature that two similar apps have is the ability to take pictures of your rigs and lures for entering in. I'd also love an iCloud backup. I would happily pay $10 or maybe even $14 dollars for the app if it was fully built out with features, stats on catches, and a beautiful clean interface. ### 3/5 — Well done! *2014-06-20* Excellent app for pole fishing. But I'm a rod fisher (fly fishing), and the developer could offer the ability to rename some of the fields or add some we could define for ourselves, for compatibility. Also, they really need to make this auto-syncing (via iCloud?) between the iPad and iPhone. The existing 'method' is so complex that it makes doing-it-over on the other device a better alternative — but that's not solution! With these two, it would be a 5-star app. ### 5/5 — Makes my fishing trips better! *2014-04-06* I love this app! I enjoy fishing and logging my catches. This app enhances my love for fishing, journaling, and photography. I can look back to reference my catches. The developer was very helpful when I required assistance and had questions. He emailed me and helped solve the issue in a timely manner. This app is great! ### 4/5 — Great for fly fisherman! *2014-03-04* This is by far the best fishing log book I have found to date. As an avid fly guy, I have been routinely disappointed by trying to fit my round data in the other programs square data fields. This app allows enough flexibility in labeling to make it workable. I can populate my tackle box with The details of each fly I use. I can document details of the water including flow rates. GPS functionality is wonderful and accurate. Its clean, detailed, and easy to use. Ive never had it crash or glitch and the movement is very smooth. Ive logged over 100 catches with no problems. I love the feature that allows u to see all your catches at a particular body of water. It really allows me to better predict fish movement and migration. I also love the tackle box feature. It makes logging catches that much easier and gives u a very organized look at your own gear. If i could make any suggestions, it would be great to be able to add more than one pic per catch and i wish my iphone app was synced to my ipad app so i dont have to add the info twice. So many anglers log there catches to some degree so this app provides those people with a great alternative to the pad and paper. The content is sophisticated enough for the professional angler or fishing guide yet simple enough for any weekend fisherman. Oh, and lets be honest, this app is great for showing off your catches to your friends. Thanks guys for a great app and sorry everyone else is to lazy to write you a proper review. ### 5/5 — Amazing Communication & App *2013-10-25* First off I need to say the email and communication with this crew is amazing. There was one small issue with earlier versions and when I sent email within minutes they got back to me (several times). Since the updates the app is flawless - hell I was thrilled even with the one issue. I fish all over and it's a great app to journal catches and brag to your friends. It would be nice to add multiple fish at a time and/or copy a fish. I caught four fish today at roughly the same spot. Two on each of two rigs. I entered one of each and would like to copy them or be able to show a quantity for the day. Would be nice to have a daily diary or trip diary where we can note in generalities how the day was. Who we may have fished with. How many we missed, etc. then drill in to see specifics for each fish. Just keeps getting better with all the updates. ### 5/5 — Very useful app *2016-06-25* I've been using my own database for years and this is so much easier. The app automatically stores waypoints for each fish or fishing spot and can record just about anything else you want including, depth, structure/cover type, water temp, air temp, weather, bait type, bait size, etc. It's searchable so you can see a quick overhead shot of any lake and where you caught all your fish under specific conditions. Can't recommend it enough and I would pay 10x what it cost without hesitating. ### 5/5 — Easy, and keeps all the info I need. *2015-04-01* When I purchased this app, there were a few problems with it. I emailed the designer many times with problems and my input, and got a response within a few hours every time. Within a few weeks the problems I mentioned to him was taken care of. I really don't see any problems with the app. The only thing that would help is a storage place. My PC recently went down and lost the files that were on it. Luckily they were still on my Ipad. There are a couple of spots where it or any of the programs won't pickup the weather. That would make this one a step above. ### 5/5 — Great and easy to use! *2014-12-11* What a great app! All the useful functions and options a fisherman needs to keep meaningful records, with the 'quick pick' review function a breeze, to determine optimum times, locations etc. All you need and cheap (cheaper than a few others that are'nt half as good)...what more can you ask for! Due to a small iPhone issue (no fault of the app) I needed support, which was provided quickly and courteously and problem solved straight away.
