### 2/5 — Wish it was better!!

Wish there could be more thing around me not in LA, so I can shop instead of just letting all my points disappear

Wish there could be more thing around me not in LA, and count my steps correctly!

### 2/5 — PhonyForBucks

*2024-03-04, version 2.7*

The technical aspects of this app seem to work well. It tracks my steps mostly accurately and converts them to points (“steps”) as described in the tutorial.

The rewards system is a let down, to put it mildly. As many have said, your “steps” are your in-app currency, a percentage of which expire at the end of every month which encourages you to use them and earn more before they are gone. The vast majority of actual rewards themselves are through partnered websites that offer discounts on their products during web sales, or for local in-person store visits, and many of these products or services seem to cater to a very specific demographic of users. I understand this concept, but it locks most of your users out of ever redeeming their earned steps for useful rewards - most of us, including myself, want a way to turn our time spent walking into income, not an invitation to spend more of our own money.

The real frustrating part is that FFB does offer an Amazon gift card reward, along with other online gift card rewards, but after well over a year of using this app, I’ve NEVER EVER seen them replenish - they’re constantly in a state of being “sold out”, despite claims that rewards do in fact replenish at the beginning of every month.

Perhaps some day, FFB will offer rewards to make using this app worthwhile, but unfortunately until then, you cannot stockpile your steps with their expiration system in place while you wait for this. In the meantime, many other apps exist that do what FFB does, but they do it better, and with better rewards.

I’d recommend spending your time elsewhere.

### 2/5 — Purchases Required

*2024-02-24, version 2.7*

I love working out and being healthy. I downloaded this app because I thought the rewards would be good. Needless to say I’ve walked, jogged many miles and used points for a coffee cup.
I went to the website to find my $10.00 not even remotely going to help with this offer.
It’s okay for some, however local shops and I’m in a big city nothing to use on that is listed .
Tried to add a few, however nothing with that either.
It’s a no for me. If the rewards were better such as gift cards that would be great . I’ll be deleting this app.

### 2/5 — Expired Rewards

*2023-07-09, version 2.7*

So I downloaded a bunch of these walking for money apps because I walk a lot. This one gives you coupons instead of money. You can only purchase from a proprietary store. So I gave it a shot.

I redeemed a 60 percent off reward only to discover the coupon expired on May 8, 2023. It’s July 9, 2023.

Welp. I gave this one a shot. Deleting now. Y’all have a good one.

### 4/5 — Step it up

*2023-04-03, version 2.6*

Jk apps cool lol

### 4/5 — Optimity

*2023-02-23, version 2.6*

I like that all I have to do is link my apple watch and walk, no surveys or videos. My only complaint is lack of variety in what I can “cash out” for and that there are no local offers in my area.

### 5/5 — Get this

### 5/5 — Hi

*2022-10-05, version 2.6*

Good very good

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Great if you’re in a city

*2025-09-05, version 2.7*

Not great if you’re in rural America. Give me an Amazon gift card at least! Prepaid Visa or Walmart would also help. 99.999% of the online merchants listed don’t apply to me. Definitely deleting.

BTW, most Americans live in the rural areas of this country.

If you’ve forgotten your sign in and need to reset the password, the email they send is less than useless.

### 1/5 — Rewards aren’t worth it

*2025-05-02, version 2.7*

You gain points quickly but the rewards are discounts you can easily get online.

### 1/5 — Formerly Acceptable, Currently JUNK

*2025-01-20, version 2.7*

Yes, the "rewards" on FitForBucks were almost always useless "discounts". Indeed the only valuable option, the Amazon gift cards, are always sold out. But today they plunged to a new low: now the app itself is 100% defective! Yes, it opens, but every page I try to look at immediately goes blank and shows only the message: "a server with the specified hostname could not be found". Lovely! Formerly somewhat "acceptable", but now just an illegal waste of space while likely still mining the data on your phone! GROSS!!

### 1/5 — No gift cards

*2024-05-05, version 2.7*

This app never has the real gift cards in stock. They only have % off of purchases types of rewards. I tried reaching out to ask when gift cards will be back in stock and got covid as an excuse. I wouldn’t download this app it’s basically useless unless you want a % off reward for a website you might use that’s on there.

### 1/5 — DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP ITS A WASTE OF TIME AND SPACE YOU DONT GET NOTHING!!!!

*2023-07-18, version 2.7*

DO NOT i repeat do not install this app the rewards will not be websites anybody uses and if you do you only get a certain percentage off sales meaning you have to buy stuff no matter what! They do NOT have giftcards or nothing you cant cashout for anything i have well over 600k points and cant do nothing with them. Again yall this app is a waste of space and time you dont get NOTHING! I should be reimbursed for all the time/months/years ive had this app to not be able to do nothing with the points. I have NEVER seen a app soooooo bad as this app!!!

### 1/5 — Sign up

*2023-05-29, version 2.7*

I have heard okay things about this app, so I downloaded it but i tried signing up but it would go to a blank screen.

### 1/5 — doesn’t work

*2023-05-17, version 2.7*

i’ve connected my fitbit and it doesn’t sync my information

### 1/5 — NOT WORKING

*2023-04-08, version 2.6*

IVE NEVER SEEN AN APP THAT DID NOT WORK AT ALL. THIS APP SEEMS TO BE A TOTAL SCAM TO GET YOU TO DOWNLOAD AND GET YOUR INFO. TOTAL WASTE OF TIME

### 1/5 — Bad

*2022-07-15, version 2.6*

Getting things on this app is easy but the rewards are god awful like I want to get money but they give like coupons and I don’t want that stuff

### 1/5 — Good idea but…

*2022-07-09, version 2.6*

It seems like this app is only rewarding to people who live in areas where they can redeem local rewards. There are no local rewards for me, so the only options are obscure, expensive online brands that I am not interested in. The only one I like was 50% off at Forever 21, so I redeemed that one with my steps and then got to the app only to find out that they are giving everyone an extra 50% off with the exact code I had just redeemed. The other offers are not even very good deals too. Many of them give you similar discounts for signing up for their newsletter.
I like that it gives you points based on steps but I also feel like I will never even use these points. Hopefully they add new rewards soon.
