### 5/5 — Excellent product and service

*2026-05-07, version 1.1.29*

The app is fantastic and always working to improve. Has workout programs for all levels of fitness, age, experience and equipment one had available. Mike is incredibly responsive to
Questions and ask for advice or clarification on an exercise or workout.

### 5/5 — Brilliant fitness app

*2026-04-29*

This app has been as effective for me as an expensive personal training programme. I have seen gains in mobility, strength, muscle mass and swing speed. The different programmes allow you to focus on what matters most to you during the season, and the golf warm ups help me stay injury free. Can’t wait to see where my journey takes me.

### 5/5 — Easy fitness

*2026-04-28, version 1.1.29*

Love FFG, been a multi-year user, and it just keeps getting better. Tons of choices of programming depending on equipment or phase of life. You can’t go wrong. Great product.

### 5/5 — Great way to get fit & golf fit!

*2026-04-28, version 1.1.29*

All of Mike’s programs and tutorials are easy to understand. Love the sets/reps/rest details as well as recommendations on next sessions. Well worth the price!

### 4/5 — Good app

*2026-04-14*

User interface pretty good. Detailed videos and descriptions. I would love the opportunity to input current lifting standards so that personalised, suggested load for each exercise could be automated.

### 4/5 — No Content Loading

*2026-04-08, version 1.1.27*

Paid for a full year with a 7 day trial. Have tried deleting the app, account, repurchasing, etc. Can’t get any content to load. All using my same email. Going to DRVN.

### 5/5 — Fantastic workouts. Plenty of options. Intuitive CX. Great support.

*2026-03-21, version 1.1.26*

FFG is a great investment if you’re serious, or want to get more serious about your golf fitness (really health and fitness for life). Mike has created a ton of options to meet golfers where they are and help them get where they want to get. Great support. Intuitive CX.

### 5/5 — Speed and stability

*2026-03-13, version 1.1.26*

Started this workout roughly 8 weeks ago went to a couple different programs. I’ve seen an increase in 10 mph ball speed increased endurance and overall better health. Back and trunk are strong!

### 5/5 — Fit for Life and Golf

*2026-03-12, version 1.1.26*

This app helps me feel better and more productive in daily living as well as golf! Highly recommend!

### 4/5 — Review

*2026-03-06, version 1.1.26*

I wish there was more instruction. I find myself not knowing what the right weight is for certain works outs sometimes. I also wish there was room for notes in the same little area you record your reps and weight.

### 5/5 — Excellent fitness programming

*2026-03-06*

I have used this app for several years and find it to be an excellent value. There are numerous fitness training programs, depending on how much time you have and the intensity of workouts you prefer. There are also different programs tailored to the level of equipment you may have at home or in your gym. I particularly enjoy the periodization for different parts of the year, for example off-season vs in season. The programs nicely build upon each other.

There are also parts of the app that focus on mobility, which is critical to any golf fitness program.

### 5/5 — Love this App!

*2026-03-02, version 1.1.26*

I am now on my second program using Fit For Golf and have seen so much improvement in my strength and swing speed. It is so easy to use, the workouts have variety, and it is easy to track your progress.

### 5/5 — Amazing app and program but latest update causes the videos to not load.

*2026-02-26, version 1.1.25*

Amazing app and program but latest update causes the videos to not load.

### 5/5 — Great program!

*2026-02-18, version 1.1.24*

I love this app. There are multiple workout programs for gym or home settings. I am 54 years old and started the program just 6 weeks ago and have seen significant strength, mobility and swing speed gains.

### 5/5 — It works

*2026-02-15, version 1.1.24*

Lots of different workouts to choose from. Easy to use, intuitive, and most importantly…you get results. I’ve gained 8mph just doing the strength workout. Highly recommend.

### 5/5 — Best (Golf) Fitness app out there

*2026-02-12, version 1.1.24*

This app is incredible for anyone that loves golf and more importantly wants to improve their strength and fitness. I see myself using the programs “Irish Mike” has created for many years to come and look forward to the improvements in my health and golf game.

### 5/5 — Best value in golf improvement

*2026-02-12*

If you struggle to commit to a fitness routine and are wondering what to do to make it improve, this is a great spot to start. Make the time and it would be well worth it.

### 5/5 — A great and versatile program

*2026-02-11*

I have really enjoyed the app, it’s targeted, easily adaptable to limited home equipment and keeps me motivated to continue to exercise. Since having shoulder surgery I have been able to pick and choose a number of exercises that at least keeps some of my body fit for golf.

### 5/5 — FfG Review 2026

*2026-02-11*

1st 6 months

I have been using Fit for Golf for 6 months and find it excellent in content and value for money.
I have really enjoyed the incremental structure it gives to my training.
Compared to session by personal training it is far better value for myself.
As it is winter I haven’t been able to assess the full impact on my game.
But I feel much stronger all over, expect to hit further and be more resilient to injuries.
Will happily review again after a full year.

### 1/5 — Frustrating

*2026-01-28*

It’s a great idea. An app that helps you physically train your body for the specific demands of golf. I have also found Mike to be very knowledgeable about both golf and fitness. The problem here is app execution. There are few things more frustrating than carving out the time to get in a work out and then being stymied by a dysfunctional app. At least 50% of the time over the last month I have lost large chunks of work out time to trouble shooting this app. Failure to connect to the internet when everything else is working seamlessly. Lagging videos and ridiculous delays. There must be something better and more reliable. I’ve reached out to customer service and will update if there’s a reasonable response.

**Developer response:** Hello,

I hope you are well and thanks for being a subscriber. Thank you for the kind words and I am delighted you like the material.

I apologise sincerely for the issues you have had with the functioning of the app. I am working hard to ensure improvements are made so this is not the case.

Please continue to reach out to support@fitforgolfapp.com with any app issues and we will be on it with top priority.

In future, if the app improves to your standards, I would really appreciate a revision of your star rating.

Regards,
Mike

### 1/5 — Needs improvement

*2025-07-15*

Very frustrating app. You start with questions based on your available equipment for workouts. I have bands and dumbbells but a 1/3 of the exercises require barbells and gym equipment. Some have alternate equipment options but you have to pick these on every workout. Video instructions are thorough but I wouldn’t recommend.

**Developer response:** Hello,

I hope you are well. Apologies for the delay in reply. It seems like you ended up selecting a gym based program rather than a home based program. Home Based - Bands & Dumbbells would have been a perfect choice for you. If you would like to send an email to support@fitforgolfapp.com I would be happy to provide assistance.

I take customer satisfaction very seriously. Leaving public negative reviews like this without reaching out for assistance first is very disappointing. I would love to help you get the most out of the app (or provide a refund if you are not satisfied).

Many thanks,
Mike

### 1/5 — Buggy

*2024-10-30*

Good workouts but the app is so buggy and doesn’t remember stats from previous workouts or speed sessions

**Developer response:** Hello,

I hope you are and well and sorry for the delay in getting back to you.

There have been significant improvements made to the app since your review was posted.

Have you been able to use the app recently? If you email support@fitforgolfapp.com I would be happy to provide you with a free month on the app so that you can check it out.

Regards,
Mike

### 2/5 — Review

*2025-08-13, version 1.1.14*

I’ve been using app for 5 weeks. It’s helpful to have a set schedule, but the app does not save all data and is not the most functional or easy to use. Compared to learning new exercises online, the benefit of having a library and tracking progress (which the app sometimes does not even do) is not worth a subscription.

### 3/5 — Some good things but…

*2026-03-31, version 1.1.27*

The programming is fun but the app still needs some work. It should be less cloud dependent (maybe consider downloading and uploading vs needing an initial/continuous connection). When their server is down I can’t see anything.

If you did a workout in the previous month, your history doesn’t show it. If you are doing super sets, the ui is similar but different which is sometimes pretty annoying to navigate.

Navigation at the end of the workout isn’t very intuitive, and if there is a way to look at historical workouts I have no idea how.

It would also be helpful to have more visibility into available workout plans and the exercises within them. It feels like a crapshoot when I’m picking planned g as to whether it’s a fit for me as someone relatively new to programming like this.

### 3/5 — Great workouts but lots of bugs

*2026-01-25, version 1.1.23*

The content (workout programs) are awesome but the app is buggy. It is supposed to store and display the weight lifted the previous time you performed and exercise which seldom if ever works. As a developer you can NEVER lose data that the user entered for their benefit/convenience. The login/authentication has bugs.. I could go on. I will continue to use the app due to the content but it is super frustrating to use.

### 3/5 — Excellent Golf Fitness Content, Clunky Day-to-Day App Use

*2026-01-21*

Fit for Golf delivers where it matters most: the programming. The plans are detailed, well thought out, and if you actually follow them, you’ll see real results. Speed training is especially nice to track over time, and the stretching and warm-up videos are excellent for getting loose before a round—arguably some of the most useful content in the app.

That said, the day-to-day app experience really holds it back. Login is email-code only with no 2FA or Face ID/biometric support, which feels wildly outdated. Random automatic logouts are frustrating—I’ve stayed logged in for months, then suddenly been logged out, and other times it’s happened after just a day. Worst of all, the app forces updates, which is especially annoying when you arrive at the gym ready to train and are forced to wait through a download instead.

Overall, the fitness benefits are strong, but the usability and reliability need serious improvement.

**Developer response:** Hello,

Thank you for being a subscriber and for your feedback. I am delighted you are seeing benefits from the material on the app.

I appreciate the frustration with sporadic logging out on the app. This is something hope to have resolved very soon.

In regards to forced updates, this is something we try to do extremely infrequently, but are sometimes necessary. I am sorry if they have occurred at inconvenient times for you.

I would be happy to listen to anymore specific feedback you have at support@fitforgolfapp.com

In time, I would really appreciate if you could reconsider your star rating!

Regards,
Mike

### 3/5 — Buggy App

*2025-09-27, version 1.1.17*

Every app update is more buggy than the last. Constant log outs. Cant edit sets completed. Doesn’t log the weights appropriately. New formation of logging without a calendar is annoying as you can’t reasonably do two different paths at the same time. Workouts are great. App is getting worse.

### 3/5 — App needs work

*2025-05-25, version 1.1.10*

Workouts are great. However, the app is horrible. Continuous issues with saving workouts. Editing is cumbersome. And logging in without a password is just silly, often taking 15 min or more to send me the code to my email. The app continously has issues saving a workout. It has issues when any workout is edited. And sometimes doesn’t even save the weight in the app. It needs a lot of work for how buggy it is and has been this way for at least a year.

### 3/5 — App doesn’t load

*2025-03-31, version 1.1.10*

It’s just stuck on the loading spinner

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Workouts are helpful

*2026-06-26, version 1.1.32*

Really great for beginners, but would be nice to have more 4X per week workouts that are a bit shorter in duration, and possibly a 6X per week.

### 5/5 — General Strength and Power

*2026-06-23*

I have been consistently using Fit for Golf for the last 5yrs. Love it! Now that I am in my 50’s it has helped me keep injurie free with my comp tennis and improved my game. Recommend it to everyone! Brent Physio from Australia

### 5/5 — Fit for Golf

*2026-06-12, version 1.1.32*

Fit for Golf is Fit for Life. I love the flexibility of the Fit for Golf app. The program is easy to use for all levels of fitness.
The program continues to evolve with new updates each year.

### 5/5 — Variety and fitness for all levels

*2026-06-10, version 1.1.32*

Love the work Mike continually puts into the platform to improve it and add more variety and help all of Fit for Golfers not only improve our games, but quality of life. Easy to follow and use as well. Highly recommend!

### 5/5 — Excellent Fitness App

*2026-06-09, version 1.1.32*

Fit For Golf is the best app for golf-focused fitness and provides overall health benefits as well. The programs are expertly designed, easy to follow, and deliver results. I have gotten stronger and significantly increased club head speed by using the app and following Mike’s guidance.

### 5/5 — Great Program

*2026-06-05, version 1.1.31*

This is a great app that is easy to select and modify a program. The tutorial videos are extremely helpful. I’ve used it for a few years now and have really enjoyed the programs.

### 5/5 — Swinging much faster in my 60s

*2026-05-30*

I’m 64yo from Sydney, Australia, 8 handicap. Never done regular gym work but managed to stay pretty fit & flexible.

Starting on the home based Seniors workouts, after 7 months & 105 workouts I feel heaps stronger, much better mobility & my swing speed has gone from 90 to 98mph avge (driver distance up 14m - Arccos data).

FFG is a brilliant program with enormous variety, super clear video instruction, great progress tracking & constantly evolving.

Can’t recommend it more highly for older blokes!

### 5/5 — To be use year round

*2026-05-27*

Very complete app for in and off seasons. Probably the best out there.

### 5/5 — Wow

*2026-05-20, version 1.1.29*

10/10- great programs- already feel 100% stronger and more mobile. The warm ups before rounds are 👌🏻👌🏻

### 5/5 — 2 handicap player - 5 Star Rating

*2026-05-16*

I was looking for a guided routine that incorporated Olympic-style lifting and explosive training, and this app delivered exactly that. Beyond strength and power development, it helped improve my flexibility, speed, distance, recovery, and overall athletic maintenance.

I’m 40 years old, and from October 2025 through January 2026, I increased my ball speed by 10 MPH — which was a huge result for me. Staying competitive as you get older takes intention, and the structured workouts made it easy to stay consistent.

What I appreciated most was that the workouts are guided but still flexible enough to edit and customize based on your needs. Whether you’re a serious athlete or just trying to stay healthy and perform better, this app gives you a simple plan to follow and makes it easy to stay on track.
