The Fit PA program is pretty incredible. I signed up before the iPhone app was available and I use Apple Watch, so I wasn’t able to import my workout data. I got the app as soon as it was available. It worked great at first, and I love all the data, but for the last week it has consistently failed to sync my data from Apple Fitness. The app says that it is connected still, but the sync keeps failing.

Also, there isn’t any really useable Settings menu that I can use to try troubleshooting. The chat hasn’t been able to help with the problem. I tried deleting and reinstalling the app. I also tried disconnecting from Apple Fitness and logging out and back in. Nothing worked. Developers: please help and I will give more stars!

I’m new to running, and proper training for events is still a bit of a mystery for me.  This app was recommended to me, so I decided to give it a shot, and had it create a training plan for an upcoming event.   I’ve been using it for a few weeks now and have been impressed overall.

I like the fact that it seamlessly interfaces with Garmin (and others) to bring in past history to understand your level of performance and then uses that to create a realistic plan for you.  It also updates automatically after each activity logged by Garmin, and matches those up with the training plan.  It will also dynamically update the training plan based on how the activities went, what your level of fatigue is, and if you simply want to add your own tweaks along the way, which I’ve used several times.

For a brand new app, I’m finding it surprisingly robust and clean.  In the few instances where I provided feedback on things I thought could use improvement, they were incredibly responsive and had changes posted either the same day or next day.
