Just have to get by the trickery trying to get you to purchase “Pro” from the very start. They say it cannot download all data because Fitbit does not allow them to get it, of course they don’t. You should implement a function to upload from my downloaded data file from Fitbit. So I switched to Power Sync which works great. ### 1/5 — Disappointed *2025-06-24* I bought a perpetual / lifetime licence for this app back in 2017, after an upgrade of app I could not use the app, support are unable to help, the cost of buying a new lifetime licence is ridiculous. This is a simple app that takes your Fitbit data and writes it to Apple Health data, a simple transfer - there are other solutions out there - even one using IFTT, but beware the developers here have many versions all leading to same pricing paywall. It was like $5 when I got it, but for syncing all the data, it was worth it. It still had annoying snags like having to reopen and manually sync its data almost every day despite advertising background refresh syncing (that basically never worked) and required a fresh login to my Fitbit account every month, but for the one time purchase, it got the job done. However, without notice a month ago, the app updated and suddenly operates on a subscription basis to continue syncing the same stats that I already paid for with none of the old annoyances being fixed. I’m terribly disappointed in this change and truly, as someone that doesn’t leave reviews for anything, I wish I could give 0 stars for the frustration this has caused without a comparable backup yet. Over the past four years, it has been a reliable and essential tool in my health tracking ecosystem, bridging the gap between two major platforms with minimal effort and maximum efficiency. However, my recent experience has been disappointing. Over the past week, I’ve encountered a persistent Sync 200 error that has rendered the app non-functional. Despite multiple troubleshooting attempts,including deleting and reinstalling both the Fitbit and Sync Solver apps, and logging in and out of accounts, the issue remains unresolved. This error has disrupted the syncing of critical data such as dietary intake, resting calories, and active calories, which are central to my health tracking routine. At present, the app is no longer performing as advertised. For users who rely on accurate and consistent syncing of calorie related data, I would advise caution. Until this issue is addressed by the developers, the app may not meet expectations or deliver the functionality it once did. I hope the Sync Solver team can resolve this issue soon, as the app has historically been a fantastic solution. This app charges you for the shirt and it’s yours. It doesn’t run from a server, it doesn’t store your data anywhere, there is no cost whatsoever to the developer after it’s installed, so why would a subscription be required? I’m happy to pay 5 quid for a simple bit of functionality that works well and saves me time. Experimented with a couple alternatives and none worked, but we have an Aria 2 (Fitbit) scale and Fitbit has said they have no plans to integrate with Apple HealthKit. Hence I keep using the Fitbit app just for tracking weight. Sync Solver-Fitbit to Health moved all 8 years of my weight/BF%/BMI data in 2 seconds. Hope that tidbit helps somebody!
