The food looked nothing like the photos in the menu — poorly presented and unappetizing. Taste was mostly bland and forgettable. Even worse, the delivery bags were dirty and worn out, which raises concerns about hygiene. Definitely not the level of quality I expected. After completing the registration process and pay for the plan the app suddenly crash. After you contact them they create the account for you manually BUT they send you another link to download this application which is identical to the first one. As it seems this version of the app has A LOT of bad reviews they hide it from you in the first place. So that’s their schema be aware guys !!! ### 1/5 — Don’t waste your money *2025-01-27, version 1.3* This is the worst app I’ve ever used. The app looks good and the food in the pictures looks amazing, but it’s all a complete lie! They were late from the very first day, didn’t follow the plan, and even delivered the food a day late. When the food finally arrived, it was completely inedible. The drinks were disgusting, the cookies were literally harder than a rock, and nothing looked remotely like what they advertised. And don’t even get me started on their customer service—it’s the worst thing in the entire world. They’re unhelpful, rude, and completely unprofessional. Save yourself the frustration and disappointment. Don’t waste your money on this scam! ### 1/5 — Worst meal plan ever *2025-01-15, version 1.3* This is the worst plan I’ve ever seen. They keep delaying the delivery. The food looks strange and tastes awful. It’s like they’re serving the cheapest stuff and just cooking it. I don’t recommend it at all. The food doesn’t look like the picture. The agent hasn’t responded to my messages anymore. And there’s aproplem message in the app about the remaining days. ### 1/5 — Don’t fall for this scam in AUH *2024-11-20* This review is specifically about fitcal services in abu dhabi, the quality of the food is horrible its been making me and my husband sick with stomach issues, they often send the wrong food and they never respond to out messages. Theres no option to cancel and when we tried to pause the meals they continued delivery. Its clearly a ghost kitchen under a false company name. Its not a registered company and you will waste your money. On another note me and my husband got different packages one was high protein and the other was weight loss and we were both offered the exact same meals. They dont cater to different needs everyone gets the exact same stuff. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Don’t waste your money *2025-12-14, version 1.3* Don’t waste your money. I had a very bad experience — the food is terrible and the customer service is even worse. They repeatedly deliver meals with missing items and keep promising to send them the next day, but it never happens. For the past three days, the food was delivered without a thermal bag, and on the last day I didn’t even receive my final meal, which they still haven’t provided. You end up paying 60 AED per day for food that’s barely worth 10 AED. Very poor quality and constant excuses, Honestly, I end up throwing away most of the food. Note: Fitcal blocked me on Instagram after I complained about their services. 😅 ### 1/5 — Bad service *2025-12-02, version 1.3* Every month I have the same problem with this company - they just decide not to deliver food to you. I purchased 1 month plan with everyday delivery, yesterday they just did it deliver my food and wouldn’t even notify me, they just don’t care It happens for the 3rd time in a row Secondly they state in the app that delivery is from 3 pm to 8 pm. Everyday they deliver to me at 10 pm, 11 pm, 12 AM!!! I told the delivery guy please deliver earlier as it stated, he would say it’s because of traffic in your district, I won’t deliver earlier. So they do what they want and just don’t care. Food quality is medium, 50% of the menu is not consumable, bad quality and tasteless One more thing to mention - they don’t have customer care phone number in the app, so if u have problem u r not able to solve it rapidly. ### 1/5 — If you like to get food poisoning *2025-11-08* The worst service and food ever, low quality of food is being offered, a scam by all means. I requested to stop my subscription and refund me for the unused days, but they canceled my subscription and refused to issue a refund. Please be aware that the food is of very poor quality, with plastic found in it. It smelled awful, looked even worse, and every meal was frozen,completely contradicting their claim of a fresh, healthy meal plan. It was so bad, I vomited after the first meal. I contacted customer service right away to cancel, but they refused to refund or stop the rest of the month’s deliveries. No refunds even when you ask them to stop delivery… the smell of rot was coming from those bags and I just had two days and couldn’t even let it in my home any further… rotten vegetables smell is very unique and I am sure it was very bad food. Fitcal has been disappointing from day one. The food is oily, full of fat, and doesn’t match the pictures. Meals are unbalanced, and the quality is bad—beef is tough and fatty, ground chicken has bones, and they use white bread and butter-filled croissants for “diet” meals. Customer service is rude and unhelpful.
