## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.0.2 — 2026-10-26

Photo scanning fixed. The AI service the scanner relied on was shut down without warning, which broke photo scans for everyone. The scanner now runs on a new, faster AI service — no cost to you, no change to how it works.
Much faster results. A food photo now returns calories and macros in a few seconds. Non-food photos still get the joke.
Smarter fallbacks. If the scanner is ever busy at peak times, the app automatically tries a backup service first — and barcode scanning and manual entry always work, with no limits.
Clearer errors. Instead of a generic "failed" message, the app now tells you what actually happened: you're offline, the scanner is briefly busy, or the photo couldn't be processed.
Quicker uploads. Photos are automatically optimized before analysis, so scans use less data and fail less often.

### 2.0.1 — 2026-09-16

Tapping the red delete (X) on a saved template no longer saves a duplicate template — the X now deletes exactly the template you tapped, once.
The red X on an exercise in the Create Template screen removed the wrong thing (it added a second copy of the exercise instead of removing it) — it now removes exactly that exercise, including cleaning up its superset link.
On the web preview, workout cards with a delete X could fail to load with "button cannot be a descendant of button" errors — the X is now an independent button layered over the card, so pages load cleanly and taps can't leak from the X into the card.
The "today" mismatch between the Nutrition tab and the meal planner (one used your phone's clock, the other a stored timezone) is resolved.
The tab calendar's calorie dots silently used a hardcoded 2,000 kcal goal instead of your real target — removed with the redesign.
Off-brand cyan highlights replaced with the app's primary blue; calendar day cells gained proper accessibility labels.
Saving your goals no longer interrupts with a "view a new AI meal plan?" prompt — it just saves.

### 2.0.0 — 2026-09-08

Nutrition planning
Nutrition Plan is now front and center on the Nutrition tab — a card at the top shows your daily calorie and macro targets and opens the full plan screen (it used to live in a hidden Profile corner).
Two equal ways to set targets: "Get AI Suggestions" or "Set My Own Targets" — nothing auto-generates and nothing is gated behind AI.
You can edit the AI's suggestions — every recommended number lands pre-filled in an editable form, so you tweak and save what works for you.
Per-meal structure: spread your daily targets across Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Snacks with quick presets (Even split, Bigger breakfast, Training day) or custom percentages.
Per-meal targets while you log: meal-type chips on Add Meal, live "X of Y kcal" progress per meal, and "X of Y kcal" subtitles on every meal card (falls back to an even four-way split until you set one).
Custom foods: create your own foods with full nutrition details and reuse them anywhere you log.
Simpler compliance: the medical disclaimer and citations collapsed into one compact, expandable "Sources & Safety" section.
Meal planning calendar
New meal planner on the Nutrition tab (calendar icon in the header): a month calendar where you plan meals for any future day.
Planned meals show a "Planned" tag until the day arrives, then read as normal logged meals; remove any planned meal with one tap.
Save any meal as a reusable template, and apply a template to multiple days at once.
Favorites and Recent foods now appear on both Add Food and Add Meal — star foods you eat often (up to 50), jump back to your 5 most recent picks, and favorites stay visible even while searching or filtering.
One calendar, one clock
One unified calendar: the Nutrition tab calendar now matches the meal planner exactly — same today highlight in the app's blue, same "has meals" dot, legend, and summary line — drawn from a single shared component so they can never drift apart again.
Simplified month view: the tab calendar's calorie-color dots, water droplets, and meal-count badges are gone; that detail lives in the daily view and Trends.
Phone-clock tracking: every date feature (home greeting, streaks, water, nutrition, workouts, supplement reminders) now follows your phone's clock instead of a timezone picked at signup — dates stay accurate when you travel.
Shorter onboarding: the timezone question is gone (detected automatically) and a new "Your Nutrition Plan" summary step lets you accept or customize your calculated targets. Time Zone settings removed from Profile.
Workouts
Cleaner personal records: reps PRs removed — highest weight is the metric (time and distance for cardio), with reps shown as context. Every PR is now deletable, including auto-detected ones, and the weight badge is renamed "Max Weight."
Insights & data
Weekly Report now includes nutrition trends: a 7-day calories-vs-goal chart plus weekly averages for protein, carbs, and fat with target lines.
One-tap data export from Profile: a single CSV with workouts, daily nutrition, water, body measurements, and personal records — share sheet on iPhone, direct download on web.
Fixes and polish
The "today" mismatch between the Nutrition tab and the meal planner (one used your phone's clock, the other a stored timezone) is resolved.
The tab calendar's calorie dots silently used a hardcoded 2,000 kcal goal instead of your real target — removed with the redesign.
Off-brand cyan highlights replaced with the app's primary blue; calendar day cells gained proper accessibility labels.
Saving your goals no longer interrupts with a "view a new AI meal plan?" prompt — it just saves.

### 1.3.0 — 2026-07-13

Personal Records — Simplified

Removed the confusing "Reps" PR type entirely. Strength is now tracked by your Max Weight only — no more duplicate badges that look like the same thing.
Weight PRs now show reps as context, so a 225 lb set of 5 displays as "225 lbs × 5 reps" instead of two separate entries.
All personal records can now be deleted by you — including ones automatically detected from your workout history. Tap the trash icon on any PR to remove it.
Renamed the strength badge to "Max Weight" for clarity.
Smarter Food Scanning

Point your camera at something that isn't food, and you'll get a funny AI-generated message. Snap a picture of your keyboard or a shoe and see what it says.
Fixed a bug where serving sizes were being double-counted, inflating your calorie and macro totals.
Scanned foods from the "Add Meal" screen now go into your selection list first, so you can review and adjust servings before committing. Scanning from an existing meal still adds food directly.
Water Tracking in Ounces

Switched water tracking from cups to ounces with quick-add buttons for 8, 16, and 24 oz. Internal storage stays in milliliters for compatibility.
Exercise Search Improvements

Search now understands synonyms and partial matches. Searching "quad extension" finds "Leg Extension," and so on.

### 1.2.0 — 2026-04-12

Corrected glitches and added features.
