## What is FitGlass?

FitGlass is a calm, beautifully crafted calorie and nutrition tracker for iPhone. Log a meal by describing it in a sentence or snapping a photo — the AI identifies the foods, portions, and full nutrition, so you skip the searching and tapping.

Most trackers feel like spreadsheets with ads. FitGlass feels like a warm kitchen. Your day lives in a hand-thrown ceramic bowl that fills as you eat, in one of five home-screen looks you choose. No ads. No social feed. No streaks. Gentle tracking, not guilt.

FOUR WAYS TO LOG
• Log with AI — type "two rotis, dal, and a bowl of curd" or send a photo. It identifies each food with calories, protein, carbs, fat, and fiber, and it's conversational: it remembers your recent meals and your usual breakfast. Got a portion wrong? Tap ×½, ×1½, or ×2 — no retyping.
• Search — 10,000+ USDA foods with real serving sizes, bundled on your phone, so search works offline.
• Quick add — 15 one-tap staples, from chicken and oats to dal, paneer, and roti.
• Write it yourself — full manual entry when you know the numbers.

A HOME SCREEN WITH A FACE
Today's calories live in a ceramic bowl that fills as you eat. Choose from five themes — Bowl, Dot Matrix, Receipt Ledger, Day Timeline, and Terminal Block — and your Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets wear the same look.

NUTRITION, NOT CLUTTER
Protein, carbs, and fat by default; fiber as a first-class macro with a target set to dietary-guideline standards. One tap opens the full FDA-style label — sugar, saturated fat, sodium, cholesterol, potassium, calcium, iron, and vitamins A, C, and D.

YOUR RHYTHM
See your week Monday to Sunday. Tap any day for its calories, macros, and full log. A rhythm you can see, never a judgment.

WORKS WITH APPLE HEALTH
Your activity flows in, so "calories left" respects your movement. Your logged nutrition flows out to Apple Health.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No ads. Sign in with Apple. Export everything you've logged as a file, and delete your account and data entirely, any time, right in the app.

A NOTE ON THE AI
FitGlass's AI gives estimates, cross-checked against real USDA data where it can match a food — and everything is editable before it's logged. Nothing is added to your day until you confirm it.

Gentle tracking, not guilt. Set your bowl.

## Version history (last 2 releases)

### 1.4.3 — 2026-08-19

Voice logging is here — and Home has been rebuilt around it.

VOICE
• Tap or hold the mic and say what you ate. "Two eggs and toast" becomes a logged meal with estimated calories and macros.
• Speech is transcribed entirely on your device. The audio is never uploaded.
• Changed your mind mid-recording? Slide left to discard it.

A REDESIGNED HOME
• The AI composer now sits at the top of Home and stays there as you scroll, so logging is always one tap away.
• Your day reads as one card per meal — tap any meal for the full breakdown, or edit and delete from there.
• Quieter navigation: three pills at the bottom, and the floating button is gone.
• A new built-in camera for food photos, with your photo library reachable from every step.

HYDRATION ON YOUR HOME SCREEN
• Dedicated water widgets in several sizes, so you can log a glass without opening the app.
• Widgets now follow your light or dark appearance.

FIXES AND POLISH
• The app now moves to the new day on its own at midnight. No more force-quitting to clear yesterday — Home, hydration, Stats, and both widgets all refresh themselves.
• Email sign-up now verifies your address, and sign-in handles errors and repeated attempts more gracefully.
• Content now fades as it scrolls under the status bar instead of being cut off at a hard edge.

AI estimates can be off — review foods before logging them.
