## What is Fitissimo?

Making music is a high-performance sport - and that's why it's just as important for musicians as it is for competitive athletes to warm up their bodies before practice sessions and concerts, to loosen them up in between, and then to consciously relax stressed muscle parts. Because the integration of such routines is often neither in the instrumental instruction, nor in the study or orchestra everyday life sufficiently mediated and appropriate exercises are often difficult to accomplish without expert guidance, it is now time for Fitissimo.

Fitissimo offers you the unique possibility to receive individualized exercise routines for your instrument for the warm-up before playing, the targeted loosening during practice breaks and also the cool-down afterwards. For this purpose, a pool of several hundred individual exercises is available, which have been developed by a team of international experts from the fields of physiology, psychomotricity, motology and physiotherapy. The special expertise of the team members is demonstrated by the fact that they are not only among the best in their field from a medical point of view, but are all active musicians themselves - some of them even have degrees in concert performance. This extensive catalog of exercises is filtered according to various criteria and constantly reassembled into sessions of different lengths, so that you always have several sessions of different lengths and intensities to choose from, depending on your practice situation. In addition, you can access further session types independently of daily practicing, for example to train and strengthen the muscle groups required for your instrument with a strength workout.

In addition to the training sessions, videos are also available for all instruments, which interactively answer questions about a - from a medical point of view - beneficial posture at the instrument.
