## What is fitkin?

Find workout partners near you — matched by sport, level, schedule and vibe.
Wave at someone. When they wave back, you're kin and you can message. No dating app energy.
Your ZIP finds people nearby. Your exact location never leaves your phone.

your people are already out there — running, lifting, swimming at 6am.
fitkin exists to introduce you.

build your kin card: your sports, your vibe, your week, your ZIP. fitkin
shows you kin near you — same neighborhood first, then nearby — matched
on the sports you share.

met someone at the gym? show your kin code. one scan, you're kin — no
phone numbers exchanged. kin can send short messages inside fitkin, and
you can block or report anyone in one tap.

traveling? flip to any ZIP and find kin where you are.

no GPS. no ads. no trackers. just the neighborhood you choose to type.

### 1.9 — 2026-10-09

• your log is for your kin only. open a kin's profile to see how they train
• kin codes now expire after 2 days and refresh when someone connects, so a shared link can't be reused
• blocking now also hides your workout log and chat from that person
• bigger tap targets and small fixes

### 1.8 — 2026-10-08

new in 1.8
• tap anyone to see their profile: sports, level, when they train, and their recent workouts
• log your workouts: a photo and one line, right on your card
• cheer a kin's workout
• pick how far to look: 5, 10 or 20 miles (km outside the US)
• text size: choose small to largest in the app, and we follow your phone's setting too

• deleting your account now also clears your notification token
• clearer wording on reviews, the kin feed and support
• small onboarding fixes

### 1.6 — 2026-09-25
