### 4/5 — Good App

*2026-04-30, version 2.5.1*

I love everything about this app however I am facing an issue where a couple of days after installation, the app wont launch and starts crashing.
Otherwise eveything is good

### 5/5 — Quick and simple

*2026-01-12*

This app is great for bodyweight (and gym!) workouts. I love that’s it’s very simple and quick to log sets/adjust weight etc. Get it!

**Developer response:** Thanks, I'm happy you're enjoying the app 😎

### 5/5 — Sweet app!

*2025-08-09*

Simple, so useful. Love the workflow loop!

**Developer response:** Awesome 😎

### 5/5 — Useful and easy to use

*2025-07-14*

Shout out to Fitloop! I found this app during a period when I worked out at home a lot. It’s a great way to track bodyweight works out with lots of well-established workouts + progressions + instructional videos; and to create and track custom workouts. Also appreciate the super-clean design and thoughtful additions. It’s very useful even in the free mode, and the subscription just a modest cost.

**Developer response:** Thank you 🙌 much appreciated

### 5/5 — Best Bodyweight Fitness App

*2025-04-26, version 2.0.4*

Fitloop is by far the best bodyweight fitness app I’ve used. Tonnes of workouts and exercises to build upon, with none of the complicated fluff. Just a solid UI that’s flexible and easy to use. Videos are super helpful, too.

### 5/5 — Awesome app for tracking workouts

*2025-04-23*

Simple and to the point for Reddit routines!

### 5/5 — The standard

*2025-04-23*

I first became aware of Fitloop from r/bodyweightfitness after starting my calisthenics journey. It has been my constant companion as I navigated the recommended routine from scapular pulls and support holds to weighted exercises and skills work. Very much appreciate the work that has been put into the app to make the progressions and tracking a simple part of the routine!

**Developer response:** That's very awesome, glad it helped you navigate the routine! Appreciate the review :)

### 5/5 — Perfect

*2025-04-21*

Very simple, which is a good thing. It has just what you need. No more, no less. I do Reddit Recommended Routine btw.

Edit: i was complaining here about the new version of the app, but the developer was very responsive and fixed/added everything i’ve been asking. thank you for the app!

**Developer response:** Thanks for your review! Please check the latest update for:
- Fixes for battery life
- Rest Timers + Custom Timers
- Native YouTube controls
- Previous data restored
- Light Mode
- Bug fixes

### 4/5 — used off and on for a few years now

*2024-12-11, version 1.8.7*

the ui/ux around adding workouts has marginally improved. i wish there was a way for users to add to the database. i hope the project isn't dead.

### 4/5 — Bodyweight fitness best app

*2023-06-23, version 1.8.7*

I’ve used this on and off for several years now - it’s intuitive to use, has embedded videos that are very helpful, and connects to the Apple Health app. No complaints, highly recommended!

### 5/5 — Very nice

*2022-12-21, version 1.8.7*

Haven't noticed anything that puts the app done. Easy 1 2 no issues. Great app.

### 5/5 — Really simple and straightforward

*2022-02-13, version 1.8.2*

Feeds the instruction videos straight to you, logging is free, and just a really good option to follow the Reccomended Routine from /r/BodyweightFitness

### 4/5 — An excellent app

*2022-01-20*

The best app I’ve found for doing the Reddit recommended routine. It has an overall timer for how long the workout has been going, it has custom timers that operate within that timer, and each exercise can be punctuated by a quick timer.
It gives you your progressions in the form of skill trees, which is really cute and motivating. The whole app is intuitive to use.

Two things that could make it better:

1.) graphs! I’d love some alternate ways to visualize my progress.

2.) being able to edit existing workouts instead of having to make an entirely new one. The RRR defaults the Copenhagen planks to repetitions when it should be measured in seconds.

**Developer response:** Hi, I’ve just released a fix where this should be resolved. If you are still having issues, please let me know via support@fitloop.app.

### 5/5 — Promising app with dealbreaker

*2021-12-03*

The app is exactly what i am looking for, however simple exercise logging (of the community workouts) is not loggab’e unless you subscribe to the pro version. A clear prompt would alleviate this bummer, but seeing this after a workout and being forced to discard it is a frustrating user experience. On the exercises front and ui, the app is however very clean and concise.

—edit—

I’ve adjusted the app to 5 stars as the dev just fixed the previous bug minutes after posting my 3-star review. The free plan is now very interesting for basic tracking, while I have yet to try the pro version.

**Developer response:** Thanks for the review, check out the new version! And yes, workout logging is and will forever remain free!

### 5/5 — Sehr motivierende App

*2021-09-23*

Mit dieser App habe ich es endlich geschafft meine Sport Routine beizubehalten. Ich habe viele verschiedene Trainings besucht, aber konnte mich nie langfristig motivieren. Mit Fitloop klappt es so viel besser. 🤗

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Garbage

*2026-07-24*

Useless app. I don't need your help making a plan. I just want an app where I can enter what workout I did, what weight, and how many reps. The free version of this is useless. I will never pay for a "fitness" app. Good grief.

**Developer response:** Hi there! You don't have to create a plan in the app. The app includes many free programs, routines, you can also create your own or simply log a workout as you go as well, all for free. PS this app is created by a solo dev, I hope you reconsider your review. You can email me at support@fitloop.app and I'm happy to take feedback on how to improve the app. Thank you.

### 1/5 — Says free but not

*2026-04-28*

Title says it all, typical hook sign up and pay for a free workout

**Developer response:** All programs in the app are completely free, except for AI personalized programs & workouts. I'll make this more clear in the app, but you can select one of the many free ones and X out of the paywall. Please shoot me an email at support@fitloop.app and I'll get you set up!

### 1/5 — (UPDATE) Been free for years

*2025-04-17*

If this app has been suggested to track your workouts, don’t bother. I’ve been using this app for a very long time now all and it started my calisthenics journey. I completed today’s workout only to be prompted to join their paid membership in order to log it. I was able to track my workouts for years, and see my progress for FREE. The sense of betrayal I feel from this app developer is astounding. Fitloop hasn’t even been updated in years and you weren’t even able to create custom workouts anymore due to a bug on their website, but you could still find many to use. Now all of a sudden, they want start taking basic features like workout records and tracking away from loyal app users out of nowhere. Absolutely horrible business practice and no respect for their user base. Don’t download this app.

(NEW) Latest update, actually might have killed the app for me officially. No more light mode, and the interface got way too complicated, looks like every generic workout tracker app now. also custom workouts are still broken and cost money. Now I definitely have to find a new app

**Developer response:** Logging is still free. Since you last looked, I've added 3 free custom routines, light/dark mode, a simpler UI, and fixed that old logging bug. Email support@fitloop.app and I'll set you up with a free lifetime account to try again. Thanks for years of support, and glad Fitloop kicked off your calisthenics journey.

**Developer response:** Hi Nico, dev here. Workout logging and records is still free!

Please reach out to support@fitloop.app so I can troubleshoot your app/account. There haven’t been any updates to take away these free features. There are optional paid features such as tracking weights.

P.S. This is a solo project & the app hasn’t been updated in a while. I’m currently working on a full rewrite to support more features people have been asking for.

### 1/5 — Privacy label is misleading

*2021-02-05, version 1.5.0*

This app sends information to Google. The privacy statement, which says “Data Not Collected,” is misleading.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2020-09-14, version 1.1.9*

App doesn’t make it past choosing which workout to do. Avoid.

### 2/5 — Half the videos dont work

*2020-06-17, version 1.1.6*

Need to fix links

### 3/5 — Somewhat buggy

*2026-08-25*

The app has a couple of jarring bugs.

If I vary my routine at all it doesn’t seem to log adjustments correctly. For example if my routine calls for 3 sets of push-ups, I can’t simply log the 2nd set as some harder variation of push-up. It alters all subsequent sets.

**Developer response:** Hi, thanks for the feedback!

Usually the sets belong to an exercise, so when you change the exercise it changes for all the sets (by design).

Can you please email me at support@fitloop.app so I can understand the issue better (and any other bugs you’re experiencing)? Thank you!

### 3/5 — crashes instantly

*2021-02-19, version 1.5.0*

i don’t use the app anymore but it was useful for me at one time (along with the website). i just had the app chilling on my phone for a while and went to open it a few months ago. can’t remember what i did, but ever since then it crashes on start and continues to do so.

### 3/5 — Skill and mobility lacking

*2020-02-19, version 1.1.6*

I like the interface and the way the workouts are organised and logged. the stopwatch at the top is cool

I am disappointed that the skill and mobility workouts are lacking progressions found on reddit. For instance the pancake mobility
Progression has only level 1 (butterfly) available on the app. Is it because the community is writing those workouts? Either way I’m surprised.

Looking forward to see how this app progresses and improves as iverall it’s a great resource.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Amazing app

*2026-07-21*

This app is amazing and is helping me workout and be consistent the amount of stuff you get with the free plan is insane compared to other apps on the App Store. Now I can’t speak for the payed stuff because well I’m 16 and don’t have a job yet (if you could hook me up that would be awesome) but yea 5 stars from me will be recommending to anyone that asks me for a good workout app. (The videos it shows you when you workout is a AMAZING touch)

**Developer response:** Thank you! I'm happy you're enjoying the app! Please reach out to support@fitloop.app and I'll get you set up with a discount!

### 5/5 — Good app, responsive dev

*2026-05-05*

Reported a privacy-related bug to the developer and it got fixed quickly. Appreciate it!

**Developer response:** Hi, I'm sorry about this. There was a bug where routines and programs created by private users were shown publicly. Workout logs have remained private and DID NOT get listed anywhere for private users. This was reported and fixed the same day. I hope you can reconsider your review. Thank you.

### 5/5 — Frictionless and simple

*2026-05-04*

I was looking for a free bodyweight/calisthenics app that could jumpstart a fitness journey for me and the app provided that with very clean and elegantly simple ui. It provides routines from reddit and other routines and programs from fitloop. I only use a pull up bar and parallel bar for my equipment, I have been using Arnold’s Stay Home - Stay fit routine as my daily routine. It has really enabled bodyweight fitness to be a frictionless and straightforward habit for me. Look forward to supporting the developer with fitloop+ in the near future.

(the developer is very helpful and fast to respond, fixed a small problem I had within the hour)

**Developer response:** Thank you for the review, happy you're finding the app useful! 💪

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2026-03-06*

I was looking for an app where I can track my progress and this app ist just great for it.

**Developer response:** Danke schön! 😊

### 5/5 — Simple, well-designed app for managing your workouts

*2026-02-11*

This is a great app to help you manage your exercises, routines, and workouts.

It allows you to create custom exercises, routines, and programs. It also connects to Apple Health 💪

**Developer response:** Thanks for your review 😊

### 5/5 — Clean and useful workout app

*2026-02-07*

As someone returning to working out, Fitloop has been the only app that’s helped me stick to a routine. The UI is clean and intuitive, making workouts easy to track at the gym. Comparing previous weights makes it easy to push harder each week, and the embedded videos help with form and have even taught me some new exercises. After more confusing apps failed, this one has kept me consistently exercising for months

**Developer response:** Thanks for the review! Glad it's keeping you consistent 💪

### 5/5 — Awesome App

*2026-01-15*

I’ve been using Fitloop for the past year, and it’s really helped motivate me to get back into a solid workout routine. I love how easy it is to use, especially for someone like me who isn’t super well versed in proper gym form. Watching the videos really helps me make sure I’m using the best form. Would definitely recommend!

**Developer response:** Thanks for the review! I'm glad it's help you with your workouts 💪

### 5/5 — Game Changer

*2026-01-13*

Gives my workouts structure and the tracking component is a game changer

**Developer response:** 💪 thanks!

### 5/5 — So Easy To Follow! Love achieving my goals!

*2026-01-12*

Fitloop is great, the workouts are easy to follow and effective. Everything is well designed and easy for tracking progress, which makes it much easier to stay consistent. Highly recommend! Get Strong, Fast! (But still gotta put in the work 🥵)

**Developer response:** gotta put in the work 😎

### 5/5 — The most intuitive fitness app

*2026-01-12*

This app does exactly what I want. I can easily find my program and track my progress in a quick and easy way. The AI features let me do less work compared to other apps.

**Developer response:** ✅ thanks for the review!
