I can’t say I’m great at maintaining progress, so the initial ‘score’ of 21st in my club was a potential motivating point… one day later, same month, I’ve been reset to zero activity despite the fact that my workouts are still recorded… Overall, definitely promise here, but there are at least a couple of bugs that they might want to work out. ### 3/5 — Guest privileges *2026-01-18, version 161.3* I’ve never been apart of a gym with weird guest restrictions. If I have a guest I workout with, I can’t bring them every day and I can’t use the app to add them as a guest . You can bring a different guest every day but the same guest once every four months?! One of my favorite things is the sauna. The sauna is a very nice size and it’s clean and up dated. I drive 30+miles here but it’s all worth it. The women’s workout area is another big plus. I had automatic payments, they charged $35 from my month, and 8 days later I saw a charge of $63.. I went to complain and they told me that the first year is charged that much, and I wanted to cancel and they charged me $107.00 just to cancel. It's a scam, it's a lot of money to cancel. They gave me money to cancel because if they charge me anything I'll complain. I’ve changed my password twice and my email is correct so this is super annoying. ### 1/5 — Continued billing me after cancellation *2025-05-14, version 161.0* This is the worst experience I've ever had with a gym. I read their terms and conditions in detail. I cancelled my membership (in person) in December of 2024. I knew they would bill me again in January, but after that I was not to be charged again. To my dismay I was fraudulently charged $18.40 in February and March. I called to dispute the charge. I also visited the facility 3 times and spoke with the location manager, Kennedy. She assured me my funds would be refunded. Despite having this issue open for two months now, I have yet to get resolution from them, and the lack of communication is irritating. It's not that much money, but they took it from me without my permission. I don't think they want me to walk into their store and steal $36.80, so why do they think it's okay to steal that money from me? Since they can't handle this like professionals, I'm going to my bank to reverse the fraudulent charges. I highly recommend you avoid Fitness Connection at all costs. Crunch Fitness, Planet Fitness, and other gyms in town are way easier to cancel and better gyms. I've had memberships with all of them. Do not ever give Fitness Connection a recurring billing method. There's no guarantee they'll ever stop billing you. ### 1/5 — Member & Employee *2025-04-16, version 161.0* As a longtime member & now an employee, I find this app incredibly inconvenient. Members frequently experience delays accessing their barcodes due to constant lagging. Why not offer a quick access feature, like Apple Wallet integration? On top of that, the login process is a hassle. Despite repeated attempts to reset and recreate passwords, we keep running into error messages every single time. I suppose its so people will be encouraged to not leave and stay working out, but in my case im managing my finances. its such a huge inconvenience to not be able to cancel in the app. ### 1/5 — Can’t log in! *2024-02-16, version 160.1* I’m having trouble logging in to get my barcode so I can be ready when my gym opens up next month. I’ve input my proper email and password that I used to sign up. And when I click reset password and try to send it to the email I registered with it tells me that the email I used not in their records.
