I got blocked from booking classes even though I cancelled within the allowed time. What’s the point of setting an allowance period if the system doesn’t recognize it? I follow the rules, cancel responsibly, and still get penalized with “strikes.” Completely unfair and frustrating. On top of that, the staff can’t even help to remove the incorrect strikes. Please fix this broken system—it’s punishing users for no reason! ### 1/5 — Less user-friendly *2025-06-17, version 109.11* The new Fitness First app is less user-friendly than the previous version. The old app sent class reminders 2 hours before, which was perfect. Now, reminders come at 12:45 AM the day before—far too early to be useful. Also, using the word “today” instead of just the date would make it much easier for users to navigate their schedule at a glance. ### 1/5 — Poor Upgrade *2025-06-16, version 109.11* This is such a poor upgrade. The fonts look ancient, and the text is very hard to read. There is no bold or color like in the old app. Booking classes now provides a poor user experience. I can’t even pin my favorite branches at the top and have to scroll through all the branches and classes without any filters for time or location.   Removing the booking queue is super terrible idea. It creates chaos in front of the class because there isn’t enough space for a waiting area, and all members are confused. Trainers have to manage the queue, which make no sense why wasting manpower on this? The queue system made everyone’s life easier by preventing people from waiting around for 15 minutes doing nothing before class starts. Especially when attending two consecutive classes, how is a member supposed to manage? Should they leave the first class early?   It seems like the app developers have never experience or familiar with the functions in old app/try to take class in Fitness First before because the functions in this new app are not user-friendly at all. Now there is no way to contact them to inquire about the increase in your billing. When you inquire at your club, about the increase in your monthly bill. They’ll just tell you that the admin or billing department handles that. And they can’t do anything with the increase in your monthly bill. I’ve been a member since 2003. And they do not considerate you being a 23 yrs member. With a lot of fitness first gym being closed and there are alot of other gym like the anytime gym being open. I think i will consider terminating my membership with fitness first. They donot value your loyalty with them. During the pandemic, i didn’t even terminate my membership. And even pay a freezing fee. Some of my friends they terminated their membership. Co’z it’s pandemic. They only think of making profit. Every Thursday when I try to book a HYROX class, the class is just greyed out — I can’t even click it, let alone book. What’s the point of having an app if it doesn’t work when it actually matters? I called the support center AND submitted a written complaint, and guess what? No response at all. Not even a basic reply. Do you even read the complaints? And when I do manage to get in right at 9:00 AM — on the dot — I’m magically placed on the waitlist as number 9. How is that even possible unless the system is completely rigged or broken? I’m paying for access to these classes, and your system is making it impossible to book them. This isn’t just inconvenient — it’s unacceptable.
