### 5/5 — Fantastic workout app!

*2026-06-09*

I was skeptical at first since I’ve never really been someone who uses fitness apps. I actually stumbled across this app when I started working out again, and I’m glad I did.

I love the clean design and how customizable everything is. Overall, it’s a fantastic app. I don’t use the AI features very much, but that’s simply because I don’t trust AI.

I did run into one issue with the health app connection, but the developer responded quickly and had it fixed within just a few days, which says a lot about their commitment to improving the app and supporting users.

Even though I’m not military, I can confidently say this is an excellent app for anyone who regularly goes to the gym. Highly recommended!

**Developer response:** Thank you, this means a lot. We built FFM to be clean, flexible, and genuinely useful whether or not you ever use the AI features, so it is great to hear the design and customization are landing for you. We are also glad we could get that Apple Health connection sorted quickly; reports like yours are exactly what help us catch and fix issues fast. Welcome back to training, and thank you for the recommendation.

### 2/5 — So close yet

*2026-06-07*

I’m the target demographic and I want to see this app succeed, but there is too much jank at this stage. Resolutions do not match phone screens, the watch app desynchronizes with the phone, the AI is unreliable, and the meal planner is a struggle to use. Cannot currently recommend this over the other solutions available.

**Developer response:** Thank you for the feedback, Emartleb. We appreciate you taking the time to share specific areas where the experience did not meet expectations. We are continuing to refine screen compatibility, Apple Watch syncing, AI reliability, and the meal planning workflow. Your feedback is helpful as we prioritize improvements. If you are willing to share any additional details, please contact us at support@roxykovu.com so we can better understand your experience and continue improving the app.

### 5/5 — Great Vision, Awesome Team

*2026-03-10*

It is what it says it is, but the features that the team slammed in this app make it worth the price point. It’s not just their books, it’s a great overall app.

**Developer response:** We really appreciate this. The goal was always to build something bigger than the books, a complete training system that earns its place on your phone, so hearing that the features deliver on that vision means we are on the right track. Feedback like yours keeps the team pushing to make every update better. Thank you for the support.

### 4/5 — Great App

*2026-03-02*

The workouts are good and the fact it is all encompassing (workouts, rest, recover) is handy. There are quite a few bugs that are not product breaking but you can tell it’s a new app

You cannot change months on the calendar. The arrows don’t work but they are there.

Mine is not pulling data from health kit? I use a garmin watch and the information is showing up in health kit, but not in the app

It would also be nice to preview the workout in the workout menu without having to start it or go through calendar.

Overall very happy and will stick around while the app is further developed

**Developer response:** This is the kind of review that directly shapes the app, so thank you. Every issue you raised has since been addressed: the calendar month arrows now page correctly and stay where you put them, Apple Health import was reworked so data from third party watches like your Garmin syncs into the app, and you can now tap a day to preview the full workout without starting it. You flagged these as a new app finding its feet, and that is exactly how we treat them, fix fast and keep improving. Grab the latest update, and thank you for sticking with us while we build.

### 3/5 — Not letting me progress in program

*2026-01-15*

The app is great, however I am stuck on day 1 of the program. I have completed and logged everything but it will not allow me to progress with the next workouts. Also would be helpful to be able to manually input run times rather than having to leave the timer running the whole time.

**Developer response:** Thank you for flagging this, and our apologies for the frustration. The progression issue you hit, where completed workouts would not unlock the next day, traced back to how program days were being credited, and it was fixed in a later update, so the program now advances correctly as you log. We also added manual entry for run times, so you can tap to type your time instead of leaving the timer running the whole way. Reports like yours are how these things get found and fixed, so thank you, and if you give it another run we would love an updated review.

### 5/5 — Easy to use

*2026-01-10*

Helps me keep track of my sets and plan my workouts accordingly

**Developer response:** Thank you. Simple, reliable set tracking and workout planning is core to what FFM is about, so we are glad it is working for you. Reviews like this keep us focused on keeping the app fast and easy as we add more to it. Train hard.

### 5/5 — All I Need

*2026-01-10*

Excellent, whether you are a beginner to fitness, or more experienced. Phenomenal for service-members (as a veteran, you hear tons of conflicting fitness info in the military, so straightforward training like this is perfect for effectively training the fitness domains that matter most for them). The app contains programming great for someone returning to lifting and running after a break from training, a total beginner, or anyone who might be looking to focus on effective strength and conditioning, or training for selection. Very smart of them to give you the ability to add custom programs if you want. The inclusion of the e-books, the clean and intuitive interface, and everything about the app so far is impressive to me. Overall, excellent first impression. The flat price was also appreciated. Worth the money.

**Developer response:** This is an incredible review to read, thank you. You captured exactly what we set out to do, straightforward and effective programming for service members and anyone returning to training, without the conflicting noise. The custom programs, the e-books, the clean interface, the flat price, all of it was built with users like you in mind, and feedback like yours tells us it is hitting the mark. Thank you for your service, and for taking the time to write this.

### 5/5 — Great stuff, little bugs

*2026-01-09*

Hi all - it’s not letting me launch week 1 day 2 workout of the no victim weight program. Do you guys have a debugging page vs leaving comments on the App Store?

**Developer response:** Thank you, and good catch. That No Victim Weight day launch issue traced back to how the program credited completed sessions, and it was fixed in a later update, so the program now unlocks and advances correctly. And to your question, you do not have to use App Store reviews for this anymore: there is a built in Send Feedback option in the app's Settings that comes straight to our team with the details we need. Thank you for helping us make FFM better.

### 5/5 — Hell Yeah

*2026-01-07*

Great app, love the features. However I’m having one issue, and this could totally be me being stupid, but when I try to start a workout day it loops me back to the original workout page rather than letting me log my results. Not sure if anyone else is having that happen to them or if it’s just me not doing something right.

**Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback, Lallaakabjxkfle! We’re actively investigating and trying to reproduce the issue that could cause a loop. If this is a custom workout, try editing it to add targets, or test a built-in program to confirm. If the issue persists, please email support@roxykovu.com with the plan or workout name and your device model so we can resolve it quickly. Thank you!

### 5/5 — Perfect for Active Duty

*2026-01-06*

This app is tailor made for active duty military athletes. It provides valuable insight into body composition, meaningful no frills workouts, and variety in training programs that I wish our Force Fitness Instructors implemented. Everything that SOFLETE wishes it could be.

**Developer response:** Thank you, this one hits home. FFM was built for exactly this, active duty athletes who want meaningful, no frills training without the fluff, so hearing that it lands well means a great deal. We are going to keep earning that. Appreciate you taking the time to write it, and stay after it.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.3.9 — 2026-08-28

What's new in 2.3.9:

- The Apple Watch no longer gets stuck on the Warming up screen. Dismissing the warmup on the phone now reaches the watch, and the watch can recover by itself within seconds if that signal is ever missed.
- Watch and phone stay in sync during workouts. Fixed a timing bug that silently dropped phone updates while you were adjusting weight or reps from the wrist, and wrist actions like Pause and Finish now retry instead of quietly going missing.

### 2.3.8 — 2026-08-27

What's new in 2.3.8:

- The Apple Watch no longer gets stuck on the Warming up screen. Dismissing the warmup on the phone now reaches the watch, and the watch can recover by itself within seconds if that signal is ever missed.
- Watch and phone stay in sync during workouts. Fixed a timing bug that silently dropped phone updates while you were adjusting weight or reps from the wrist, and wrist actions like Pause and Finish now retry instead of quietly going missing.

### 2.3.7 — 2026-08-23

What's new in 2.3.7:

- AI chat errors no longer show literal asterisks. Every error the assistant reported wrapped its title in ** and the chat rendered those characters instead of bold text, in all 11 languages.
- Searching a common food now puts the everyday entry first. Typing banana in the food log could return a 336 calorie database row instead of the 105 calorie fruit, so what you logged was wrong. The other entries are still listed, they are just no longer on top.

### 2.3.6 — 2026-08-18

What's new in 2.3.6:

- Swapping days no longer drops a workout. On a day with both a lift and a run, finishing the lift could make the run disappear and move you straight to the next day, so you lost a session your program had prescribed. Reported by a user on 13 August.
- The AI Quality Telemetry section in Legal now says Opt-In, which is what the app has always done. Nothing is collected unless you turn it on. The old label said Opt-Out, which overstated it.
- The AI Feedback section now states how long rated messages are kept.

### 2.3.5 — 2026-08-11

What's new in 2.3.5:

- Long words no longer get cut in half on the Nutrition and Recovery dashboards. In German, Spanish, French, Italian, Catalan and Portuguese, labels like "Kohlenhydrate" were being clipped or broken mid-word on smaller iPhones.
- Set counts and cardio labels in the workout strip are now translated. "3 sets", and the Bike, Row, Swim and Walk labels, were still showing in English in every language.
- Fixed a bug that could silently cost you the app's one review prompt: if a workout was saved while the app was moving to the background, FFM marked the prompt as shown without ever showing it.
- The Rate buttons in Settings now open the App Store review page directly.
