### 3/5 — Great App for Athletes but I’d like to see some improvements

*2026-01-18, version 3.4.2*

This app is great for identifying trends and patterns in your cycle, and in turn how that impacts training. I use this app every day. However there are a few things I’d like to see updated. Currently I’m inputting how I’m feeling both physically and mentally in my log each day, but when I look at my trends I can only see trends in negative symptoms, and don’t see the benefit of where in my cycle I’m more powerful, focused and happy (all things that can be logged in the app), so I’d like to be able to see the trends in that

### 4/5 — So good so far, missing something

*2024-12-26, version 3.3.0*

This app seems easy to use so far, just downloaded it today.

My only suggestion is to make this app compatible with other fitness apps and nutrition tracking apps. So they can all be synced together and I don’t have to log my exercise separately.

### 4/5 — Needs to name the phases

*2024-10-07, version 3.2.2*

I love this app I just wish it showed the name of the phases, luteal, menstruation, ovulation and follicular, rather than phase 1, 2 etc! Such a simple fix would be so beneficial.

### 2/5 — What Happened to the App?

*2024-01-31, version 3.2.0*

I was loving this app with its tracking, extra info provided and coaching possibilities. I would’ve given this a 5-Star for all of its features. However, now when I click on the app I only get blank boxes and no other data, words, pics. It’s completely empty. What happened? Did I lose all of my data?

### 4/5 — While I love this app…

*2024-01-20, version 3.2.0*

I love love love this app but just wish that the log could have a few more options for choice of symptoms and whatnot. Plus it would be great to have a more specific phase of the menstrual cycle, like luteal or follicular, and especially knowing when ovulation is!

### 2/5 — Sometimes it’s great

*2023-12-14, version 3.2.0*

It always takes such a long time to load and it never gets me into the actual app like ever!

### 2/5 — Update???

*2023-10-11*

The new update of the app has been incredibly disappointing. Losing all my period date for the past 2 years was frustrating and the new set up is clunky and not user friendly. I used to be able to scroll between phases to see what I had coming up (interrupted sleep, rise in temperature etc) but now I can only see the phase I’m in. While it now is pretty colors… that doesn’t make up for the disappointing user interface and loss of data. I hope that they will bring back the strengths and organization of the past app.

**Developer response:** Hi! If you have been experiencing issues in seeing your historic data after the update, please email us at fitrwoman@orreco.com and we can help resolve this for you. You are still able to see your upcoming phase information. You just need to click on 'read more about upcoming phases' on the home screen. The colours in the calendar section will also provide you with your predictions for the upcoming months. We hope this helps your query!

### 2/5 — New update to calendar is horrible

*2023-09-16, version 3.0.4*

If I had left this review 6 months ago it would have been 5/5 but the new update is so bad. The UX on the calendar is so bad and makes it hard to see where your cycle is up to and when the prior is due. For anyone who is neurodivergent, is color blind or has poor vision the new layout is horrible.

### 2/5 — Recent overhaul ruined the app

*2023-09-09, version 3.0.4*

I’ve been using this app for a few years and while it was a bit visually clunky, it was user friendly and did what I needed it to do. I understand why they wanted to overhaul the design. Unfortunately I think they went in the wrong direction with it. The colour scheme, number of different colours, and the way they are spread all over screen, make it really hard to look at. It’s busy, ugly, and hard to find the info I am looking for. Like looking for a thumb tack in a jar full of gum balls. If it’s not fixed soon, I’ll probably go back to the other app I used many years ago.

### 3/5 — New visuals difficult

*2023-09-09, version 3.0.4*

I’ve loved this app for many years and still appreciate its functionality. But the new visual/layout for the calendar is bad - the colors indicating the phases don’t pop or have enough distinction from one another to be useful. It’s bad visual design/UI.

But I have loved and appreciated tracking my cycle in this app for years and will continue to.

### 2/5 — New update

*2023-08-31, version 3.0.3*

It looks like the app has been updated. I was logged out and my password didn’t work. When I reset my password, they had deleted all my data. Quite annoying!

### 2/5 — Latest update not the greatest

*2023-08-30, version 3.0.3*

While the latest update might have some improvements, the visualizations and the usage are not as well done as the previous version. One of the features I liked the most that is gone is being able to se the stages ahead on the front page (not the calendar view) and flip through for dates and descriptions of the hormones. Now you have to do all of that separately in the app.

### 4/5 — Great App!

*2023-08-14, version 2.9.20*

Really enjoy the app, the information it shares and the simplicity to log symptoms. The only downside for me is it won’t connect to Strava, it keeps saying “Bad Gateway”. Would be good to have that log, but otherwise thanks so much for such a helpful and insightful app!

### 2/5 — Frustrating

*2023-08-05, version 2.9.20*

I want to love this app but I can’t get it to connect with Strava. I feel like I’ve tried everything. The whole reason I got it was so that I could connect to Strava.

### 3/5 — Won't connect to Strava

*2023-06-18, version 2.9.20*

Haven't used the app long enough yet to see how beneficial it will be bit I am frustrated that it won't connect to Strava.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Update Lost ALL My Data

*2023-10-06, version 3.0.4*

I cannot articulate how how frustrated and upset I am right now, and if i could give it zero starts, I would. The update to the app lost ALL of my data; data that I have been carefully tracking and recording for years. In response to other reviews that complain about this issue, the creator states that the issue is not lost, but after signing in and completing the onboarding questionnaire, all logged data will be available. The problem with that is that this app never made me create an account. How can it restore information from an account that it never required me to create? As anticipated, when I requested my password be sent to my email, I was told the provided email was invalid. Why (WHY???), would an app make such sudden changes without first warning it’s users? This feels like such a betrayal of its loyal users. I will be deleting this app and finding a new one. I refuse to give my personal information to a company that clearly cannot be trusted. I’m sure the creators had their reasons for doing what they did, but their callous disregard for their users, evidenced by the complaints of those users, demonstrates they don’t really understand what they’re doing. Given the fear about how our private health information could be used in the current climate eroding women’s rights, I highly recommend finding a tracking app more competent and responsible than this one.

### 1/5 — Update wipes all my data

*2023-09-02, version 3.0.3*

This past update wiped all my history!
So much important information gone!

### 1/5 — What happened?

*2023-09-01, version 3.0.3*

The latest update erased all my history. I’ve been using this app several years without any issues, and I loved it. Now all my data is gone 😕

### 1/5 — It used to be good

*2023-08-31*

The app used to be really easy to use and you were able to see all the phases which I really liked but now it’s difficult to use and they only allow you to see the phase that you’re currently in also they must have deleted my account because I tried to log in and was forced to make a new account

**Developer response:** Hi, thank you for your feedback. Do not worry, your account has not been deleted. If you just login with your original FitrWoman details and complete the short onboarding questionnaire, all your historical data will be waiting for you. You should be able to see all your phases by clicking 'read more about upcoming phases' on the home screen. Please contact fitrwoman@orreco.com if you are having issues and we will help resolve them.

### 1/5 — No email verification

*2023-08-30, version 3.0.0*

It doesn’t send you the verification email for your account

### 1/5 — Blank Screen

*2022-02-12, version 2.9.20*

This app has been working great for me, however since the last update all I get is a blank white screen. Please fix it!

### 1/5 — Not working

*2022-01-22, version 2.9.20*

I just get a white screen nothing happens. Very disappointed

### 1/5 — Incorrect information

*2021-05-12, version 2.9.6*

The app says that during phase one of menstruation, when hormone levels are at their lowest, that I should maximize my exercise training!!! What?!

### 1/5 — Needs to allow younger ages

*2020-11-29, version 2.9.4*

I went in and I was trying to sign up for the app and when it got to the part about my age it did not let me go to my age it stoped at 2007 and I think that they should change it so more younger people can use the app because some people need it at a certain age and it does not let you pit in your age which is very disappointing.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work if you’re on birth control

*2019-09-10, version 2.7.5*

I was hoping this could tell me where my hormones are given the birth control I’m on, but sadly it only works for those who still have a cycle

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great App!!

*2025-07-19, version 3.4.0*

Such a great app!!! I especially love the nutritional aspect where it gives you tips on which foods to eat during each phase of your cycle! Definitely recommend!!

### 5/5 — Not just another period tracking app

*2024-11-03, version 3.3.0*

… but so much more. You can learn about different phases of your cycle, how it affects your mood, strength, endurance. How you can adjust your diet and training to a cycle phase to get the most out of it. Exactly what I was looking for. And it’s ad free! No in-app purchases! No annoying questionnaires right after downloading that lead you straight onto subscription page! Wow! It looks very well thought through an deserves to be more popular.

### 5/5 — Great app!!

*2023-12-12, version 3.2.0*

easy to use and has provided me with so much insight and knowledge around my cycle!

### 5/5 — Personal Nutrition Coach

*2023-11-03, version 3.0.4*

I love Fitr woman. I use it particularly for the recipes which update depending on how you log your physical symptoms on the app. They’ve all been really tasty so far too. I also love how easy it is to track my cycle and to make notes to see how each cycle is different and my differing nutrition and exercise needs because of this.

### 5/5 — Jenny

*2023-09-14, version 3.0.4*

Love the new app! so much more inclusive than the old one and loads of information. I also love how you can log positive symptoms as well as negative ones and also select the intensity. Made the experience so much better!!!

### 5/5 — Great for learning more about your body

*2023-09-14, version 3.0.4*

I recently downloaded this app and love it! I tend to struggle with bad symptoms in the second half of my cycle and this app has really helped me understand what’s going on in my body and given me great symptom management and nutrition support. Thank you FitrWoman!!

### 5/5 — Love this app!

*2023-09-10, version 3.0.4*

I generally don’t get into fitness/tracking apps, but I am absolutely loving this new FitrWoman app. My menstrual symptoms have changed a lot since becoming a mother, and FitrWoman has been so helpful for me to understand what’s going on and what I can do about it. The nutrition recommendations and recipes are also 🔥👌 and make eating smart so much easier. Thank you FitrWoman!!

### 5/5 — Game changer

*2023-08-04, version 2.9.20*

This app is an absolute game changer when it comes to fitness and your menstrual cycle.
Also, the fact that it’s FREE!!!! I could kiss the app makers! Thank you for making an app that’s easy to understand and accessible. There is so much noise out there regarding what to eat/how to exercise around your cycle that it gets really confusing. I love that you back your claims up with science.

### 5/5 — Great resource

*2023-05-17, version 2.9.20*

I’m really impressed with this app. I’m a registered dietitian so I always assess the nutrition recommendations closely, and I think the information provided is fantastic. It drives me insane when apps suggest super specific diets that promise to cure all your health issues (spoiler: they won’t and your grocery bill is going to be insane). The recommendations here are general enough that anyone can modify them to their preferences and they’re actually accurate.
The quick facts provided regarding how you might feel physically during the phase you’re in are super helpful as well. I’ve always noticed difficulty breathing during aerobic exercise the week before my period and now I have a better understanding of how my hormones are affecting that. I also appreciate that they don’t just suggest doing yoga everyday like some other resources.

### 5/5 — This app is a blessing!!!!!

*2022-10-26, version 2.9.20*

Thank you for making this. If there is anything I can do to support please let me know
