### 5/5 — New update great

*2025-07-17, version 2025.2*

The new update is awesome! A lot of work has been done and you can tell.
I like that it works in the background and you don’t have to constantly have your phone out to play.
Good work dev.

### 5/5 — Good

*2025-06-30, version 2022.5*

Good fun game.

### 4/5 — Very good but buggy

*2025-04-18, version 2022.5*

An amazing concept, but some features are buggy / hard to understand.

### 5/5 — Question

*2024-07-09, version 2022.5*

What activities train charisma skill?

### 5/5 — MY DREAM FITNESS GAME!!!!

*2023-04-10, version 2022.5*

This game is so cool!!!!!!!! I just started playing it so I’m not very far but I am so happy I found this game!!!!!! I hope there will be some expansion because according to the other reviews it is kind of short or not a lot of content??

### 3/5 — Needs more content and players

*2023-01-15, version 2022.5*

I’ve been playing Fitscape now for 3 weeks. There is not a lot of instruction on how to track the distance you walk, there was a lot of trial and error on my end to figure this out, and there is not a lot of instruction on how to do anything. The first few quests have a bit of instruction, but not enough. To move to another screen in the game, you have to physically move 500 meters. The app doesn’t track your steps/distance in real time, it syncs with with the Heath app. It will track your steps while carrying your phone in your pocket, or from your Watch. The only way to level up your character and attributes is by doing a workout on your Watch, or other compatible fitness devices. Pro tip, if you select the functional strength training workout on your Watch, it will level 5 of your 6 attributes. I have not yet figured out how to level the charisma attribute. There is one quest early in the game where you have to make a friend. This is an MMORPG, but after 3 weeks I have yet to see another player online. I asked my wife to download the game and create a character just so I could complete the friend quest. My wife uses a Fitbit, which doesn’t connect to the Health app. We tried a work around, which connected the Fitbit to Health, but it didn’t transfer to the game to level her player and attributes, so basically, nobody plays this game, you’re alone in there world, and if you don’t have an Watch, good luck. This game is a fantastic concept, I am a sucker for MMORPG’s, I don’t typically participate in intentional physical activity, but I started working out regularly just to level my character, but it’s a slow go. Like all MMORPG’s, each level takes longer to level than the last. The problem is that there aren’t enough quests. From level 3, your next quest you have to be level 5, and from there you have to be level 8, I am currently level 7 (after 3 weeks of working out 20 minutes a day) working to get to 8 to compete the next quest. Basically, I complete a quest, then have to workout everyday for a week to play the game again, so that’s really lame, I have used my time to travel and discover the world which only contains 16 different screens, it’s not very big . In conclusion, it’s a good concept, but it needs a lot more content, and it would be more fun if others actually played.

### 3/5 — Needs some more work

*2022-11-06, version 2022.4*

Needs more tutorial, graphics are good, my quest is to complete a workout and I’ve done multiple and it won’t take it for some reason

### 5/5 — Great for a beta

*2022-08-17, version 2022.1*

This game is very fun and motivating. Once you get your apps setup for the game to receive the data it runs smooth. Some of the battles freeze up and I wish there was a way to sync Fitbit or other devices for steps and running data but otherwise the game is great.

### 5/5 — Great potential for a beta launch!

*2022-08-07, version 2022.1*

To give a bit of backstory before this review, I'm a gamer that used to go to the gym. After performing the same workouts, and listening to the same music, I found it to be boring, slow and demotivating. Fitscape has brought a new flame to my fitness journey! I recently got my sister to join in on the game with me, and she loves it, she's actually a higher level than me! Okay, let's dive into the first-impression gameplay. From first opening the app, accepting my first quest and going into my first battle, the music is still the same calm, peaceful roaming music even in battle. When a battle starts it should be intimidating, and the music should follow. Fitscape's battle mechanics requires you to swipe to attack, which at first seemed like a great idea, however, with only about a third of my swipes registering, I suggest a tap to attack feature is integrated. Another thing is more vibrant strikes, monster noises, victory music, flashy colors, all the beautiful things a gamer like myself would want to see. Also, Multiplayer quests! (Co-op, Online) Maybe I'm getting ahead a bit, it's still soon. (Dev(s), if you're reading this and have already considered some of these ideas, thank you. You're doing great!) Now, to see great results in this game, YOU WILL NEED AN APPLE WATCH OR FITNESS BAND to track your progression precisely. I'm still Level 1 myself without an Apple Watch, (currently in the process of moving) and my sister (Who does have an Apple Watch) is at Level 3. Lack of a fitness band will definitely break the immersion of the game, as it is tedious to do workouts with your phone in your hand, or on your person all the time. For a game that incorporates fitness into gaming, and is very much in its early stages, I can see this game being something amazing!

### 1/5 — Can’t even create an account

*2026-05-31, version 2026.3*

I tried twice to create an account, but first it told me it couldn’t for some mysterious reason, and when I tried again, it just won’t go beyond that screen — so I deleted the app. Annoying because it looked like fun and I have no problem paying for app subscriptions, but I would need to be able to create an account to do that. 🤷‍♀️

### 1/5 — Poor Gameplay/ Unclear Systems

*2026-05-19, version 2026.3*

This game has potential, but the progression and activity systems are unclear and poorly designed, making it difficult to actually enjoy long term. There’s a noticeable disconnect between the developer and the playerbase, with community feedback seemingly ignored while overpriced cosmetics and premium tiers continue to be pushed.

For a fitness game, it should feel motivating and rewarding, but instead it often feels frustrating and overly monetized. Until the developer focuses on improving the core systems and listening to players, the premium tiers are not worth paying for, nor are the cosmetics.

### 1/5 — New Update= Stupid

*2026-05-08*

The new update is broken and not playable as well as unclear and janky. The new ranking system ensures that the top ranked players will fight you over and over depleting whatever you are earning. So even if you are trying to get ahead you are real time being depleted of your equipment and stats.

I am a paying member and I think this update was bad. I have sympathy for the players that are on the free accounts because progress looks like it’s locked behind top ranked players.

### 1/5 — Unable to see whole screen, words cut off

*2025-04-05, version 2022.5*

I just downloaded it yesterday. I’m unable to view the whole screen. I tried closing and relaunching it, but I still cannot see the whole screen.

### 1/5 — Great concept, poorly executed

*2024-08-28, version 2022.5*

Game has great potential, but is buggy and has big problems with performance, shame.

### 1/5 — Great idea Bad execution

*2022-11-09, version 2022.4*

My character got stuck in a battle and could not do anything but sit there. I wanted to be able to battle friends but can’t. And waiting over 16 hours for help from the support team team and it never came so I uninstalled. I’ll try again later when they get the bugs worked out

### 1/5 — Cannot even log in to try it

*2022-10-24, version 2022.4*

Opened the app, put in a username and agreed to log in with Apple. Now, when I try to log in,I get the checkmark in the pop-up showing I've logged in, but it stays on the screen that asks me how I want to log in. Disappointing, because I really wanted to try this. App support just sent me to a website with FAQ.

### 1/5 — Has potential, but…

*2022-08-12, version 2022.1*

I like the idea of the game, but the UI is really rough. More importantly, the game screen doesn’t fit properly in my iPhone 13 Pro. So much on the edges is cut off! It makes actually playing the game difficult.

I’ll revisit the game in a few months to see if things have improved.

### 1/5 — False advertising

*2022-07-20, version 2022.1*

It says it counsel your progress and you see results right away but It is the fourth day of playing this game and I am still level one . I have worked out numerous times and I assume the workout experience is only unlock after the starter quest tree which I am still not finished after four days of workouts. none of my workouts besides steps taken have been counted towards my progress. All this game does is ask you for money which I’d happily give if I’ve actually gotten to experience the product advertised. But I haven’t so I don’t recommend it.

### 3/5 — Fun idea but so much is gated by membership

*2026-05-23, version 2026.3*

Really love the idea of this app but so much of gated by the expensive monthly/yearly membership. I’d be up to pay a one time fee or a buck or two a month but it just feels a bit steep for where it is now

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great app that incentivizes healthy living

*2026-08-12, version 2026.8*

The app incentivizes your workouts allowing them to progress your character in the game. The character selection allow you to gain bonuses in different workouts. PvP and PvE battles are great. You gain gear that pushes you to be stronger in the game. I have been playing for 3 months and it keeps me encourage to keep working out and pushing my health to be better.

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2026-08-12, version 2026.8*

This fitness rpg game is so much fun. Sam, the developer keeps it updated constantly, and actually listens to player feedback. It is a ‘game’ and medieval which might not be for everyone, but if you have been waiting for a game that ties into your fitness, sleep, and training while “gamifying” those activities… you will not be dissapointed! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

### 5/5 — Great game!

*2026-07-17, version 2026.6*

I love gaming. I love working out. I have looked for this type of gamification of exercise for a while. There is an active dev that is open to feedback and improvement - I highly recommend taking fitness into your own hands and starting your journey today!

### 5/5 — Such a cool game

*2026-06-28, version 2026.5*

This game is the most fun way to focus on improving my health alone and with friends. I love the competitive but relaxing nature of it and the search for all items. The daily quests make it super engaging.

### 5/5 — The best fitness-based RPG!

*2026-05-30, version 2026.3*

This game is the most creative, engaging way to enjoy a fantasy-based fitness world. It’s so much fun to play alone or with friends.

### 5/5 — Great way to stay motivated!

*2026-05-22, version 2026.3*

I’ve been using this every day to help me stay motivated working out. The loot and quests give a great sense of pushing yourself beyond what you would normally want to do in a day. And the progression of your character is really fun. Each time you level up your character has an accession that is super satisfying to see how they change as you get better gear and traits. The new stats are super cool too you help cover your weaknesses. I would definitely recommend giving this all a solid try. The developer has been pouring a lot of passion into this project.

### 5/5 — Nice concept

*2026-04-19, version 2026.1*

Transform activities into a game where I level up, making walking enjoyable and feel like a game-based experience.

### 5/5 — Great fitness based RPG

*2025-08-20, version 2025.5*

I really like this app, it’s very easy to use and fun. The fact that different types of activities level up different stats is great. The dungeon encounters and combats are really good. I use it with a combination of a Garmin watch and Apple health. Really recommend for anyone into RPGs and health/activity tracking.

### 5/5 — Playing for a few months

*2025-08-11, version 2025.5*

I've been playing this for a few months now and they recently did a complete overhaul of the app. The new version makes it so all activities you do have an impact on your level and it has been a game changer. The update has really pushed for more activity and I highly recommend downloading.

### 5/5 — Fun motivation to exercise

*2025-07-30, version 2025.4*

I really enjoy the app and all the changes the developer is implementing. He’s really responsive and helpful.
