I turned off auto-renew, and they turned it back on. Do not sign up for this! ### 1/5 — Regret!!! *2022-06-30* I don’t even have an account set up, but they still managed to get my money $73.16 from PayPal even though I tried reporting a case file, which they stated there was a billing agreement that was set up with Fitter. I did NOT authorize any payments and am now out $73! I emailed them first about this but got the usual reply back that they would get back to me in 24hrs. To me this is a flaw. Reputable companies notify before renewing and make it easy to cancel and get refunds when the service has not been used especially if you ask the day of the charge. Stay away there are better apps with more ethical companies. ### 1/5 — No customer support *2022-04-14, version 1.13.35* Gets 1 star bc i can’t give it 0. Misspelled my email address on the last step while signing up. I’ve never received any communication from the company bc of this. The app has no way to contact customer support. I used the app 3 times. I did not find anywhere in the app to cancel the app or charge. I was not notified of any renewal charge. When I contacted them immediately after finding my account had been charged, I was told they do not give refunds because it is a digital purchase. That is nonsense, they have record in the app of how the app was used 3 times over the initial month (6 months) of subscription. Because I have no record of their policy I have no recourse. I didn’t know what Fitter did. I contacted them for a refund. They did partially refund me. It’s the principle of the thing. Totally unprofessional. I see from the reviews that I ‘m not the only one this is happened to. Disgusting. Do Not get this app. I consider this a theft at this point. If I could give it zero stars I would. Dr J ### 1/5 — Disappointed with no audio timer. *2022-02-16* This is a program geared to help those who want to get more active and to do so safely at home. I love the idea, however, by having no audio countdown timer you cannot keep focused on form so you are always looking at the screen to determine when to stop. There also is no transitional time to the next exercise. Just a few adjustments would make this so much better. I switched to the 7 minute workout app for now. UPDATE: Warning to check your billing. Though I turned off the subscription in the app and deleted it, the billing still happens. UPDATE 2-22: After emailing to refund the SECOND unapproved billing, got a sorry but you have access for another 6 months so enjoy it message. Downgraded review to 1 star. Now in February I was charged for the app. Why? This is nothing short of a scam. Watch out for the auto renewal scam. Even when notifying the company within a few days of the renewal, they refuse any kind of refund. So far I can’t get a refund even though the app doesn’t give the option showing when it will renew or how to cancel. Customer service has been the worst experience. Used for a little while but the exercises are not as compatible on an iPad and they can’t be rotated for watching. Overall it seems mediocre and doesn’t seem to get updates of new options at all. I think the same exact programs were offered 6 months ago. Do not waste you money. ### 1/5 — Stole my money *2022-01-22, version 1.13.29* I cancelled the app a week after purchasing. Six months later I got charged for a subscription renewal. No way to cancel auto renewal on the app. Email is ineffective and as soon as you are charged and ask for refund, they say this is electronic product and no refund is given. It was not a fit for me; I tried to cancel it immediately but couldn’t find a way to edit my subscription. I was billed for a year that was not used; I was charged for a second year and yet could not find out how to cancel it is not on apple apps function like all my other app subscriptions. Contacting their customer service was nothing more than a bot service telling me nothing could be done. I just care about my customers more than that. The workouts are challenging without being too hard to do. . I don’t understand all the complaints. You can set it in the app for your transition times. So many complaining they have no time between workouts. Check in your settings and put the time you want between exercises and rounds. ### 5/5 — Love *2021-03-29, version 1.11.0* I like it, it’s easy workout for me! ### 5/5 — Good price, good customer service and does what it needs *2021-03-16, version 1.10.3* I signed up to Fitter as I needed something to get me started again having fallen out of the habit of exercising. I think I did expect more based on the advertising BUT it’s actually working so I can’t complain - I am finally exercising regularly again and am feeling some results. There’s a good mix of exercises and, as long as you’ve exercised before and know what you’re doing, the timer allows you to just get on with it and get in the zone. I was worried after seeing some reviews but when I contacted customer services they were quick, polite and helpful. For the price, I’m very pleased with my 6-month purchase! ### 5/5 — Can't find a better one *2020-11-17, version 1.4.1* I absolutely love the fit body app! I recommend it to everyone I know! No pics or anything just words. But I emailed support and they quickly put update after update to fix it. (They actually listened!) so I’m sure they will continue to update and fix the background and add the videos like in the advertisement. ### 4/5 — Good app for out of shape folks *2021-07-07, version 1.12.10* I like being able to customize the exercises to fit my health needs, and like being to skip certain exercises. I would have given 5 stars if there is a way to have a sound signify the end of the exercise. In many cases the phone is on the floor so I can’t feel the vibration. I like the fact that I can customize the pause between exercises and rounds. Gives me a chance to catch my breath and change positions. Having the ability to expand a detailed screen explaining the exercise is a bonus too. So add a sound and I will change this to 5 stars. ### 3/5 — Just started *2021-08-19* So far I just downloaded but agree that you are sold on a meal plan and work out for your previous responses to a questionnaire but once you pay they add additional things to pay for like recipes and desert options and someone else’s cook book. While I think I don’t eat that bad I mainly want the work outs but wanted to see meal options so that is definitely false advertising. I’ll update my review when I have time to look at the workouts. ### 3/5 — Been ok so far *2021-03-26, version 1.11.0* As someone that has had trouble getting into the groove of exercising the simplicity of this app has been helpful The biggest issue is that on the one hand it’s supposed to be personalized based on my feedback and where I am fitness wise - but tapping into a specific exercise (say, Havana III) when actually starting the workout it’s Frankfort III (advanced vs. beginner). Seems like an app glitch. Can the team please fix this? Or advise how I can troubleshoot? ### 3/5 — Needs sound *2021-03-03, version 1.10.3* This would definitely be a five star app if there was the ability to add sound to notify you of the transition between exercises. It’s not possible to have proper form and look at the phone at the same time. I love the ability to change transition time between exercises which a lot of apps don’t allow. And that it asks if workouts are easy or hard to tailor them to you. But it really really needs sound. ### 3/5 — Could be great if... *2021-01-13* I want to love this app but the developers have made it difficult. On my phone (I’m assuming all phones) the app doesn’t rotate, so the image is small. I streamed it to my TV but it’s still small. There is no sound to this workout, which I love, but it also means that you don’t know when to switch exercises unless you are looking at the screen. And heaven forbid they give you one second to switch from a standing position to being on the floor on your stomach. 🙄 I tried to find my phone to pause the workout, but since I was streaming it was over on the coffee table. I loved the workout. Quick and super effective. I love the variety. The exercise model movements are looped but not particularly well, because she glitches. Which makes it seem amateurish. I think this world be a great free app. Or actually worth the money if they improved it. There are a lot of workout apps out there.
