## What is FitTrack?

Log your lifts. Run your intervals. Keep all of it in one place.

FitTrack is an offline-first training companion for people who already know what they're doing in the gym. Open it, start a session, and it gets out of your way. No spinners. No signal required.

IT REMEMBERS SO YOU DON'T
• Your last session sits right above the set you're about to log.
• Weight and reps are pre-filled from your real progression. Ramping, pyramid or flat, it follows the pattern you used last time.
• Suggestions adapt to the session you're actually having. Down two reps on set 1, and set 2 asks for two fewer too.
• Exercises remember how many sets you did, and your all-time best stays on screen.

STRENGTH TRAINING
• Log reps, weight, notes and rest in seconds.
• Rest timers start the moment you save a set, with a 3-2-1 countdown and haptic cues so you never have to watch the screen.
• Progressive rest shortens your break automatically with every set.
• Auto-done finishes an exercise when you hit your target and moves you to the next one.
• Real supersets: rest fires only after the last exercise in the group, and the app rotates you back to the top.
• Timed exercises for planks, holds and carries.
• Add, swap, remove or reorder exercises mid-session without losing a single logged set.
• Switch between lb and kg per exercise.

HIIT AND TABATA
• Full-screen interval timer, readable from across the gym.
• Custom work and rest durations for every exercise. Free for everyone.
• Optional warm-up and a get-ready countdown before the first interval.
• Up-next previews so you always know what is coming.
• Audio and haptic cues that play over your music instead of pausing it.
• Every session is saved to your history with full stats, and compared to your last comparable one.
• Completion, work time and work-to-rest split, with best-ever badges when you beat yourself.

TEMPLATES AND SHARING
• Build reusable workout and HIIT templates for your whole training week.
• Share any template with a link. Exercises your friend is missing are created automatically.
• Browse curated starter programs when you want a plan that is ready to go.
• Turn any past session into a template in two taps, or replace an existing one with it.

PROGRESS THAT MEANS SOMETHING
• Every session is compared to your last matching one: volume, sets, intensity and new records.
• Needs Attention tells you which lifts have stalled or started going backwards.
• Training Balance shows your push, pull, legs and core split and flags what you skip.
• Muscle Frequency shows what you haven't trained in weeks.
• A 12-week view of how often you actually turned up.
• Compare any two weeks of volume, filtered by muscle group.
• Per-exercise progression, personal records and estimated 1RM.
• Assisted and bodyweight work rank properly: less assistance and more reps count as progress.
• Full history of workouts and HIIT, filtered by year, month and type.
• Share a summary card, or save it straight to your Photos.

MAKE IT YOURS
• Name exercises exactly the way you say them, in English, Francais, or any language you like.
• Full English and French interface, with built-in exercises, muscle groups and equipment in your language.
• Pick muscles visually on an interactive body diagram, up to four per exercise.
• Dark interface built for real gym lighting.

BUILT FOR REAL TRAINING
• Works completely offline. Every set saves to your phone first and syncs when you are back online.
• Timers stay accurate even if you background the app or take a call.
• No ads. No third-party tracking.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.6.0 — 2026-08-26

Sign in with Apple or Google, get told when your rest is over, and decide what your shared summaries reveal.

NEW
• Sign in with Apple or Google. Use either on the sign-in screen, or connect one to the account you already have from Account settings.
• Rest timer alerts. Get a notification when your rest is over, even if you have left the app. Turn them on in Preferences.
• Choose what your shared summaries show. Workout and HIIT summaries now have their own share screen where you decide exactly what appears on the card before you post it: weights, per-set numbers, exercise names, duration, date and progress markers can each be left off.
• Reorder your templates. Tap one, tap where you want it, done. (Premium)
• New accounts are confirmed with a 6-digit code instead of an email link.

IMPROVEMENTS
• Profile photos are now private to your account.
• Account and confirmation emails arrive in your language.
• Timed exercises set a default duration instead of a default weight.
• On Android, FitTrack no longer requests the photo, video and media-playback permissions it never used.

FIXES
• Fixed edits made on one device sometimes never reaching another.
• Fixed exercise settings, including Progress by, reverting to older values after a sync.
• Fixed changing an exercise's type or progression rewriting how its already-logged sets were counted.
• Cancelled workouts, deleted workouts, deleted templates and deleted custom exercises now sync straight away, so they stay gone after a reinstall.
• Fixed Premium not being recognised on first launch when the receipt check failed.
• Fixed Export My Data leaving out nested data and failing without saying so.
• Fixed all-time best showing a lighter set than your real best at that weight.
• HIIT summaries no longer report your interval count as rounds.
• Fixed the rest timer cue sounding a second time when you came back to the app.
• Fixed the keyboard covering the inputs on the Account screen.
• Fixed the Restore Purchases, Privacy Policy and Terms links running off the edge of the upgrade screen in French.

POLISH
• Redesigned the profile screen: it opens with your avatar, and account and preference settings have moved into their own screens.
• Redesigned template cards: shorter, easier to scan, and colour-coded by type.
• The workout clock has moved into the header, with the session's name and date above it and hours shown on long sessions.
• The active workout stats bar now shows live volume and reps alongside sets and exercises.
• Less tapping during a workout: the superset preview follows the set you are about to do, and the weight unit moved into the exercise menu.
• Strength sessions have their own icon alongside HIIT.
• The two start buttons are now Strength workout and HIIT workout, naming what you are about to do rather than how fast it starts.

### 1.5.0 — 2026-08-20

FitTrack now speaks French, and progress tracking has been rebuilt.

NEW
• Fully available in French, including exercise names, muscle groups and equipment. The app follows your phone's language on first launch, and your choice follows your account to a new device.
• Rebuilt workout summaries: total volume, top set, session intensity, muscle split, new personal records, and a comparison against your last matching session. Swap exercises and the comparison switches to sets and intensity rather than pretending the volumes are comparable.
• Rebuilt HIIT summaries: completion and work time measured against your last comparable session, best-ever badges, and the work-to-rest split.
• New Progress analysis. Needs Attention flags lifts that have stalled or are going backwards, Training Balance shows your push, pull and legs split, Muscle Frequency shows what you have neglected, and a 12-week view shows how often you actually turned up.
• Assisted and bodyweight exercises are understood properly at last. Set "Progress by" on any exercise so the app knows whether more weight, less assistance, or more reps counts as getting stronger.
• Save your workout and HIIT summary cards straight to your Photos.
• Saving a session as a template now offers to replace an existing template of the same name, instead of making you delete it first.
• Shared templates carry the full exercise setup, including whether a lift is weighted, assisted, or bodyweight.
• Template previews show sets and rest before you import.

IMPROVEMENTS
• Set suggestions adapt to how the session is actually going. An off day no longer pre-fills a number you already missed on the previous set.
• History is rebuilt around month sections with per-month totals, and tapping any session opens its full summary.
• Personal records can be sorted by what you have not beaten in longest.
• Timed exercises like planks now get progression verdicts and show up when they stall.
• Recent Volume tells you which way your training volume is heading.
• Progress says when bodyweight sets cannot be counted in total volume, rather than quietly showing a low number.
• Expanded and corrected the in-app Help and FAQ, covering template sharing, starter programs, language settings and offline use.
• Privacy Policy and Terms of Service are now available in French.

FIXES
• Fixed a crash when viewing progress for a bodyweight exercise.
• Bodyweight exercises were excluded from Records and progression entirely. They now appear and rank on reps.
• Fixed kg users seeing pound figures under a "kg" label in Progress totals and volume by muscle.
• Fixed superset sets getting out of step when a set was deleted out of order.
• HIIT share cards showed the default timers even when the session ran per-exercise ones.
• HIIT sessions that customised only their rest timers lost their per-exercise detail.
• The week comparison no longer shows empty pickers before you have two weeks of training.
• The interval breakdown no longer disappears on long HIIT sessions.
• Saving a HIIT session as a template no longer fails when a built-in exercise has been renamed.
• Importing a template no longer creates a duplicate copy of an exercise you already have.
• Fixed being unable to reach the Import button on a shared template with many exercises.

POLISH
• Reworked the exercise editor into Defaults and Details sections, so rest has room and the type and progression settings sit side by side.
• History cards align on a shared two-line rhythm, with muscle pills and a volume chip.
• Volume figures read the same everywhere in the app.

### 1.4 — 2026-08-12

- New Features:
1. Smarter set counts: exercises now remember how many sets you did last time, instead of always resetting to the default. Adjust anytime from the kebab menu during your workout.
2. Progressive (Decreasing) Rest: set up a rest period that automatically shortens each set, configurable when creating or editing an exercise, or on the fly mid-workout.
3. Profile avatars: personalize your profile with your own photo.

- Improvements:
1. The Save Changes / Delete Exercise buttons are now pinned to the bottom of the exercise editor, so you don't have to scroll to find them.

- Bug Fixes:
1. Fixed the volume-by-muscle chart showing broad categories like "Back" instead of the specific muscle sub-part you actually trained.
2. Fixed sound and vibration settings not applying immediately during an active workout.
3. Fixed unfinished workouts being saved with the time and duration of when you reopened the app, instead of your actual training time.
4. Fixed long workouts being flagged as abandoned while you were still logging sets.

5. Added a quick options menu in Active Workout for auto-done and sound settings

- Improvements:

2. Exercise picker now shows a flat alphabetical list instead of grouping by muscle
3. Template cards and muscle filter chips now show only top-level muscle groups, keeping the UI clean for exercises with multiple targets
4. Improved active workout exercise card metadata to show equipment plus up to two muscle groups with compact overflow handling
5. Superset automatically returns to the 1st exercise once added
6. In supersets, only the current exercise's Save Set button is active, so exercises wait their turn
7. Superset grouping locks once a round is in progress, preventing mismatched set counts

- Bug fixes:
1. Fixed HIIT workout duration showing an incorrect, oversized total for templates without custom per-exercise timers
2. Fixed a bug where a fresh install or full restore could scramble a HIIT template's exercise count, rounds, and warm-up time; existing templates are repaired automatically on next sync
3. Fixed a sync timing issue that could cause edits from another device to be missed

- UI & Polish:
1. Redesigned Create/Edit Exercise screen with a cleaner layout, section labels, and side-by-side detail cards
2. Cleaned up exercise display in the HIIT config tab: name only, no muscle group subtitle

- Bug fixes:
1. Fixed custom timers resetting or behaving unexpectedly when changing the default work/rest timer.
2. Fixed superset groupings not persisting on templates after re-sync or reinstall.
