## What is FitTrack?

Know what you lifted last time. Log what you do today.

FitTrack is a gym workout log for recording sets, reps and weight, with your previous performance beside the next set. Save your routines, time your rest, and keep HIIT and cardio in the same training history.

LOG YOUR LIFTS
• See your last sets and personal best while you train.
• Log weight, reps, notes and supersets.
• Set rep ranges and use rest timers that start when you save a set.
• Choose built-in exercises or add your own.

TRAIN WITHOUT A SIGNAL
After your first sign-in, log workouts offline. Sets save to your phone first and sync when you reconnect.

HIIT AND TABATA INCLUDED
Build intervals with your own work and rest times. Follow a large countdown with sound and vibration cues, then keep the finished session beside your lifts.

KEEP CARDIO IN THE SAME LOG
Record outdoor runs, walks and rides with GPS, or enter the numbers from an indoor machine. Review your route, pace and splits.

REPEAT YOUR ROUTINES
Save workout templates, share them with a link, and review your full session history and personal records.

START FREE
Full strength, HIIT and cardio logging, your complete history, personal records, built-in exercises, 20 custom exercises and 5 saved templates.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.3.0 — 2026-10-28

A clearer gym log, with easier workout starts and a new light appearance.

NEW
• Pick several exercises at once, or open a built-in workout and start it without saving a template first.
• Log warm-up sets separately, with their own weight and rest. They stay out of your working-set totals, volume and records.
• Choose light mode, dark mode, or follow your phone. Your share cards follow your choice too.

IMPROVEMENTS
• Larger set values, clearer controls and more room for long names across workouts, History, Progress and Settings.
• Easier HIIT exercise selection and clearer interval counts.
• Drag exercises into order, with supersets moving together.
• Start an unchanged template straight away. With edits, choose whether to save them or use them for this session only.
• Your machine's maximum weight limits progression suggestions, with more reps offered at the limit.
• Less background work while training and offline, and a smaller download.

FIXES
• More reliable keyboard and sign-in behaviour, including saved-login autofill.
• Faster updates between phones after saving or deleting a session.
• Built-in workouts cached on your phone open without waiting for a connection.
• Fixed duplicated cardio templates losing their settings and pinned shortcuts not appearing immediately.
• Fixed lingering Lock Screen activities after discarding cardio, and improved chart labels and empty filters.

### 2.2.0 — 2026-10-20

Plan every set as a percentage of your training max, run programs week by week, and see your rest on the Lock Screen.

NEW
• Plan a template's sets: the reps for each set, a percentage of your training max, and + for a set done for as many reps as you can. The workout fills each set from the plan, the weight worked out for you.
• A training max for each exercise, for percentage programs such as 5/3/1. Set it yourself, or take 90% of your best estimated 1RM in one tap. In a workout, a % button beside Weight fills the weight at the percentage you pick.
• Programs (Premium): put a few templates over a number of weeks, each day's sets changing week by week. The Workouts tab shows where you are, such as Week 2 of 4, and starts that day. On a + set, the card shows what the same week reached last wave, the number to beat. At the end of a wave, raise each training max by its step.
• Progression rules (Premium): choose when an exercise goes heavier, and when it goes lighter. Set 1 of each workout is filled from your rule, and a tap on the change says why, such as +5 lb: every set reached 12 last time.
• Your workout on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island: the exercise, the set with its reps and weight, and your rest counting down. On an Apple Watch with watchOS 11, in the Smart Stack. HIIT and cardio sessions show there too.
• Shortcuts: up to 5 templates on the Workouts tab, each one tap from starting, and the first 4 on the app icon. Press and hold it.

IMPROVEMENTS
• The free plan keeps 5 templates instead of 3, enough for a 4 or 5-day split.
• A new Workouts tab: Strength, HIIT and Cardio, each with its own screen. The programs you are running show their next day right there.
• A calmer workout screen, with only what matters to the exercise in front of you. The header says which one, such as Exercise 2 of 6.
• Outdoors, FitTrack finds the GPS while you set up a session, so it starts from where you are.
• Tap any number or bar on Progress's Overview to see how it is made, and Intensity on a workout summary to see how it is worked out.
• Drag your templates into the order you want (Premium).
• Leaving an editor with a change asks first, whether you tap back or swipe.
• Search Help's guide and questions at once.
• What you save reaches your other phone at its next sync.

FIXED
• A rest keeps counting when you leave the workout for another tab, and its end still beeps or vibrates.
• An outdoor session no longer counts a few metres in its first seconds, and Moving time counts every second.
• An indoor session reopened after FitTrack was closed counts the time it was closed.
• The rest notification comes once per rest.
• Signing out ends your workout's display on the Lock Screen.
• Many smaller fixes to the workout screen, Progress, syncing and the French text.

### 2.1.0 — 2026-10-10

Rep ranges, today against last time on every exercise, and HIIT moves read from a list or a YouTube link.

NEW
• Give an exercise a rep range, such as 8 to 12, in its editor or from its menu during a workout. Each set you log is marked under, in or over it. One tap fills the range most of your exercises use.
• Tap an exercise on a workout summary to see it on its own: today beside last time, set by set, your records, the muscles it works and your estimated 1RM.
• Tap the volume change on a workout summary to see where it comes from, exercise by exercise.
• Paste a list of moves into a HIIT session or the HIIT setup, from a video's description or a note, and their times are read. Or paste a YouTube link: the moves its description lists are read for you.
• Edit a finished HIIT session: its name, times, rounds and moves.
• Import HIIT workouts from Apple Health beside your cardio, then add their moves in a few taps.
• 40 new built-in exercises, for the gym and for HIIT.
• Exercises have main and secondary muscles. In Progress a secondary muscle counts as half a set, and Full Body exercises get their own bar.
• Adding an exercise to a workout shows your strength exercises first, and the HIIT setup your HIIT ones, with one tap to show them all.

IMPROVEMENTS
• Built-in exercises FitTrack has changed since you added them are listed in the Library's built-in exercises, to update in one tap or keep as they are.
• The exercise card shows the sets done against your target, such as 2/4 sets.
• The template editor shows what each exercise will start from.
• An assisted machine's weight is the help it gives, so it no longer counts as volume.
• Sets on a summary and its share card end with their unit, and a count of one is written in the singular.
• The timer sounds are louder, so they carry over the gym's music.
• A HIIT session run to its end opens its summary straight away.
• The cardio share card shows what an indoor machine's console showed.
• A cardio template's play button starts the session straight away.
• Saved share cards are named after the session and its date.
• Help covers everything new.

FIXED
• Signing out with no signal no longer signs you out again later, and signs out only this phone.
• A session finished with no signal stays finished.
• An indoor time target notifies you with the phone locked.
• Your other phone no longer briefly shows an older copy of a workout.
• Copying a HIIT or cardio session to another date keeps its moves, times and route.
• Many smaller fixes to timer sounds, voice updates, Progress, the exercise editor and syncing.

### 2.0.1 — 2026-10-05

Fixes and polish across the app, and a live cardio screen that moves like you do.

NEW
• The figure on the live cardio screen runs, walks, pedals, rows and climbs with you, at your pace. Indoors it runs on a treadmill or rides a stationary bike.
• Lifting heavier than ever on an exercise now counts as a personal record, even with fewer reps than your best set.
• Each exercise on a workout summary says what its arrow measures, volume or reps, and shows the heavier weight when you went up.

IMPROVEMENTS
• Signing in on a new phone restores your whole history, much faster, and the app no longer downloads it all again at every launch.
• Opening a workout and the exercise chart in Progress are quicker.
• Your sign-in is stored encrypted on your phone. You stay signed in through the update.
• Profile photos upload faster and use far less data.
• Calories estimated for a past session use the weight you had that day.
• Account, Preferences, Help and a few other screens now have the same header as the rest of the app, and every cardio icon shows its activity, indoors and out.
• Rate FitTrack in Profile opens the App Store page to write a review.

FIXED
• Opening the app with no signal no longer signs you out, and Premium stays unlocked.
• Progress no longer stays on its loading circle when the purchase service cannot be reached.
• A run whose GPS stopped partway keeps what it recorded, rather than saving 0 m.
• Time spent paused no longer counts in a workout's duration.
• A weight typed with a decimal comma, 62,5, is saved as typed.
• Starting outdoor cardio now tells you when location is off, only approximate or refused, and where to turn it on.
• Spoken updates name the right distance, keep your voice settings, and no longer go off as you resume.
• Cardio templates can be shared and saved from a session, and a template in miles starts at the right distance.
• Accounts made with Apple or Google can be deleted, and deleting an account completes in one step.
• Progress fixes: the week comparison, weights logged in kg and lb, muscle frequency and your weekly streak over New Year.
• Many smaller fixes to HIIT setup, supersets, templates and syncing between phones.

### 2.0.0 — 2026-09-23

Cardio is here. Runs, walks and rides record alongside your lifts and intervals, in the same history.

NEW
• Cardio, indoors and out. Running, walking, riding, rowing, the elliptical and the stair climber. Outdoor sessions measure distance, pace and splits by GPS and draw your route; indoor sessions take the numbers off the machine. The two are never pooled: a treadmill kilometre and a road kilometre are not the same training.
• Give a session a distance or a time. The phone buzzes and tells you when you get there, screen off or not, reads out your time, distance and pace, and can stop the session itself after a short cooldown.
• Spoken distance, pace and splits over your music, at an interval you choose.
• If you wore a watch, the calories and heart rate it recorded land on the session instead of a form asking you to guess.
• Save any cardio setup as a template and start it in one tap.
• Log a cardio session by hand, import one from Apple Health with its route, distance and climb, send yours there with its map, or bring in a GPX file from any watch or app.
• The summary names your fastest and slowest split, shows descent and your fastest twenty seconds, and shares as a card with every split, with the map or without it.
• Weekly goals, free for everyone: strength and HIIT sessions, and cardio by sessions, minutes or distance. Resets every Monday, with no streak counter: a streak punishes rest days, illness and injury.
• A one-time purchase, alongside the subscription.

PROGRESS, REBUILT
• Every chart in Progress counts volume, reps, sets or calories. Bodyweight work adds nothing to volume however hard it was, so it was invisible; now it is not.
• Weekly sets per muscle, against the 10 to 20 range the research settles on, with a mark where the range begins.
• Whether the volume you keep adding is buying strength: volume climbing while your estimated 1RM does not is a plateau worked harder, not broken.
• Session density: weight lifted per minute in the gym, rest included. Sessions get longer more easily than they get productive.
• What to lift next on every exercise you have trained lately, with the reasoning on the row rather than a number handed down.
• The Exercise tab is a full profile now: what you are working at, your best, a progression line switchable between weight, 1RM, reps and volume, your best sets by rep count and your rep-range spread.
• Cardio insights: speed per heartbeat over time, how much of your training was actually easy, and your best time at 1 km, 5 km, 10 km and the half.
• HIIT follow-through: your completion rate across sessions, and how often you finish every round.
• A year of personal records, in order, each with the number it beat.
• Every analysis card explains where its number came from, behind a question mark.

IMPROVEMENTS
• A new icon, and every session type drawn in one style.
• The exercise editor's starting values fill from your last workout in one tap, and after a weight increase the suggested reps keep last session's shape.
• Preferences regrouped, and an Open source licences screen.
• HIIT and Cardio each have their own tab in Progress, with a jump bar so the last card is one tap away.
• The active workout screen is quieter: options and discard on one side, finish on the other, and exercises insert between cards.
• Long cardio sessions cost far less battery: the screen sleeps and GPS eases off.
• The consistency card in History folds to a row of goal rings, so your first session is back on screen.
• Routes save with the session, so they survive a lost phone. Calories, heart rate and weight read from Apple Health never leave your device.

FIXED
• A session finished, imported or deleted on one device shows on your others right away.
• Outdoor routes no longer cut through buildings when GPS drops out.
• The keyboard no longer covers the cardio fields.
• Duplicate voices are gone from the voice list, and exporting to your health app creates no duplicates.
