There could definitely be more inclusivity with LGBTQ+ options and more additional date options but just as itself the game is a fine play through. I only played through one date and it was nice. Would recommend if you have the money and want to play these sorts of games. 👍

Firstly, this game takes a very long time to download. I’m not sure exactly how long, but long enough that I went on another app while it downloaded and then forgot all about it. 

When I finally remembered and started ‘playing’, I found it very easy to use. Easy to follow instructions, clean UI and simple choices made it easy to ‘play’. Even though the app is free, to actually ‘play’ it cost me £4.49. 

The actual ’game’ is overall very good. All 5 dates have unique personalities and looks, they all have interesting stories and they are all equally good choices to take to the end. What makes the characters so good though is the acting. All the actors in this are genuinely superb and make the characters you’re talking to feel like real people. 

The story itself is interesting. It can go from being really fun to talking about serious real life problems in seconds. The conversations and games are a lot of fun to see play out and the characters really do evolve during the dates. However, this is where my problem with the ‘game’ comes in.

Making choices doesn’t make a difference to the actual story. Instead of feeling like you’re playing along, it feels like you’re watching the same story play out over and over and the choices you make just add in a few extra scenes of the characters reacting and then continuing on with the same story. I could be wrong about this but that’s just what I feel after a few days of playing.

Another problem I have is that the story just isn’t long enough. 3 rounds of dates is not enough to fully develop a character or to get a satisfying ending. Even just one more date after they confirm they want to keep seeing you would be good. Something more relaxed and where they don’t judge everything you say.

Overall then, I’d say that this game/app is definitely worth getting for under £5, but only if you like things like this and if you can actually afford it. It’s definitely a good game/app but it could be way better.

The acting and direction is great, not cheesy at all. I loved it and while I will agree with other reviewers that it can be a bit repetitive when re-doing the story, I’m glad there is an option to skip through parts you have already done.

This game as a short film was fantastic. But as a game it needs more storyline. It would be amazing if you can extend the storyline to in person dates, now that the lockdown has been eased. Especially the storyline with Paige should definitely need an extension.

I’ve updated my review to 5* after reading what the devs said, and changing the setting I’m really enjoying this game now. Been very nicely done and it is amusing. These video games make a welcome change to the usual type of gaming.

I paid the extra £6 to view more of the content. Don’t know if I’m missing something but I’m just getting same guy ‘Vinny’ and same dates over and again? I thought there would be new males and new dates. The audio is the same and I’m just making similar choices? Would prefer if choices stayed on screen longer. The ‘choice’ boxes show up and are gone in seconds. I don’t know what I paid for? Im trying to find some new content as what I paid for is same as what was free. I like these interactive movie kind of games. The actors/actresses are very proficient as is the dialogue. If devs read this, please let me know how I access more and different content .

**Developer response:** Hi there, thank you for playing the game! When you unlock the additional content, you unlock the second and third round of dating with your three matches from the beginning, each continuing the love story between the characters. After completing the game, whether is was successful or not (depending on your choices) you can replay the game and match with additional characters (there are five matches in total). We have also implemented an option to hold the choices on the screen, please go into the in-game options and you will see a Pause Choices (Streamer Mode) option, which holds the choices until you choose the one you want. I hope this helps and you'd like to give it another playthrough. Let us know if you have any other questions.

The game takes ages to download. Says my storage is full when I have around 60gb left free when checking my storage settings. Game doesn’t even want to download so don’t bother trying to download as you wont get to play it. Fix this issue ASAP

Downloaded the game but there’s literally no sound. The volume is high on both the game and my phone. Thought it was my phone but no. It’s the actual game itself. Can’t even play it at this point.

It’s my first time playing a wales interactive, I’ve played through the story for about 4 times now, Georgia Small’s (Saffron) performances in this one is superb, phenomenal to say the least

, not forgetting Demmy Ladipo’s (Callum) comedic timings were absolutely entertaining

So I’d definitely recommend those that haven’t actually played a wales interactive game to play this one 💯%
