Needs some work tho *2021-08-02, version 14.5.0* This game is absolutely amazing! I downloaded it the day it came out, and I still play it almost every day. The models are amazing, it’s challenging and fun at the same time, and with new skins/characters every week, the game is never low on content. However, there are a couple bugs and things that are kind of annoying. 1: sometimes when I load up the game, it’ll get stuck at 85%. I usually just have to wait 30 seconds and it’ll resume, but it is kinda time consuming. 2: I don’t get why the packs in this game are so expensive. It’s like saying that if a pay 42$ ( yes, that’s the in-game price for the toy chica pack) then I get to look at toy chica, and fight her three times. I get that since this a mobile game, there will be in-app purchases, but these are just not worth it. I recommend completing the daily challenges to get lures, and who knows, maybe you’ll get toy chica for free. That’s how I do it! And finally 3: the lack of characters. I get that it’s hard to make up mechanics, and model things, and I just said how this game was never dry on content, but there comes a point where people aren’t gonna want to fight the same character Over and over, with the only difference being that they look different. The last character to come out was golden freddy, and he was cool and all, but he came out in December! Hopefully the new DLC gives us new characters. If so, I’ll change this to five stars😁 ### 4/5 — 4/5 *2021-07-27, version 14.3.0* I rate this four stars because I believe the game is very fun and interesting but it has some issues I’d like to report. First off I believe that beating animatronics at higher streaks should get you much more faz coins because when I am at a high streak like 15 I only get a bonus of like twelve and sometimes it drops to like 9 for some reason and I’m just saying this because once you get to like level 8 it starts taking literally 5+ hours to level up once forcing me to spend dozens of hours just fighting the same animatronics over and over again to finally be able to go against animatronics that would only take me like 15 minutes to be able to fight in the old version. I believe you should keep the level up system but I still think more powerful animatronics should be able to come at higher streaks to make the game for accessible to casual players. One other minor nitpick I have with the game is the new interface, I believe that you should have an option in the settings to change the controls to be on the screen again instead of on that massive brown peice of plastic. All in all I believe this is a good game it just could use a few tweaks. ### 4/5 — Good for 95% of it, but I can’t stand the now many new issues I have with it. *2021-06-10, version 14.2.0* So first off, the game is great. It is simple and fun. However, with the new update, a hole new setup happened when I redos loaded it. The text in the tutorial goes away before I have read half of it, so SLOW IT DOWN OR LET US TAP IT AWAY! Also, it KEEPS CRASHING and I don’t know why! My ipad cannot seem to handle it well. Can you PLEASE fix this so I can have fun and not worry about rushing so it doesn’t crash when I’m about to zap one of the 400 freddys on the map? Also, why am I only getting Freddy? I have had the game for around 15-20 minutes and no Bonnie or chica or foxy comes up! Also, I never ever ever came across any other animatronics than the main four. Once was ballon boy on my phone, but still. I keep deleting this game for space or because I just haven’t played it in a while. Please fix all these things! One last thing, though. When it gives me my prize, I am used to seeing the streak number go up, but there is nothing in that area. Just blank, then brings me to a balloon reward, the it is still blank. Is that how it should be? The new update caused many more insane things to happen, so please fix it as soon as possible! ### 4/5 — Great game, But... there are some bugs that need fixing *2021-01-01, version 12.1.0* I’ve been playing for over a year now so I’ve had a bit of experience and one bug I’ve been having the biggest problem since the question mark update has been ruining it a bit. So when you go against an animatronic there is a chance it will have one of two bugs: One, when the animatronic spawns the static never appears, which with continue to happen til that animatronic kills you. The Second bug is the same as the first, but instead the static is all over the room no matter where you go. This has happened a lot and has prevented me from keeping a streak for long. I know this mostly happens when there is no light but this happens most the time when my lights are on and my wind shades are open. Now I used to be able to fix the problem by resetting the game and it is as good as new and doesn’t ruin my score. But since that’s been removed it’s near to impossible to get over a streak of 10. But besides that and some minor bugs overall it’s a very fun game and can be challenging which boosts the entire experience as well so far your doing great, but some bugs prevent it from 5 stars. But that’s all my complaints about the game... for now. And have a wonderful day ### 4/5 — An issue that I would like some compensation for *2020-12-09, version 11.0.0* Ah yes, another issue. Making this the fourth review I have done for this game. So then, you might be asking what the issue is this time. The issue is I beat black ice frostbear (and yes, he seems to be the only event animatronic after Halloween that is working for me at the moment) and he gave me nothing other than my streak. After beating an animatronic like him, I would appreciate getting the items I am supposed to get. I even checked my remnant to see if it raised. It didn’t. I keep my remnant at a clean zero most of the time, so after beating him I expected to at the very least get the parts and remnant, and the event tokens too. But I got nothing. If Illumix sees this, the compensation I want would just be a single black ice frostbear lure. That’s it. One. That is the exact amount of times I beat him and got nothing. So I would like to fight that one time yet again. I would not hold it against you (Illumix) if you gave me nothing, or don’t even look at this review. But an issue that does something like this, if fixed quickly, will raise my four stars, into a five stars. (By the way, the more reviews about issues that come out after this will keep lowering my review stars) ### 4/5 — Great game but one huge bug (Very important) *2020-12-08, version 11.0.0* Ok so I just want to start off by saying this is a pretty fun game. I appreciate the multiple variations in characters but I think you guys, illumix, should start adding more characters instead of just adding new ones on special events. Also, I suggest that you make fazcoins at least 15% easier to get since it takes a long time to get up to 3,000 which is the average amount to buy a good pack. Aside from that, I really like your game and it entertains me. Next thing, here is the bug that you guys definitely should fix. So when you tap on an animatronics symbol, there are two buttons. One is encounter and the other is jammer. Of course as you guys know since you are devs, is that in order to use the jammer on an animatronic you have to pay some fazcoins. But here is the bug: instead of paying the fazcoins, all the player has to do is just close the game and reopen and they won’t be facing that animatronic anymore. It’s definitely not a game breaking bug, but I definitely recommend it should be fixed just so people don’t “cheat”. Also right before you die from an animatronic, you can quickly close the game so that you don’t take the loss and you keep your streak. This is a great game so I just wanted to tell you guys some bugs to make it better. ### 4/5 — Good game, but may need some work *2020-11-11, version 10.1.0* I really enjoy this game. It looked really cool when I watched some big YouTubers play it, like Markiplayer, and Fusionzgamer, but when I got to finally download it it had gone through many updates, which I didn’t mind, but the game was so heavily reworked I barely recognized it. I had to uninstall and reinstall a few times to even get it to work properly and even now I’m still unsure if it’s working properly. When I send my animatronics out to salvage they don’t take damage, or maybe they do but I only see it when they get back. They’ll be at 100% until they come back. I thought they were supposed to degrade over time, I could be wrong though. The skins, CPUs, and mods are kinda hard to get, but it seems to be that they can be obtained easier as your streak goes up. I also wish that the animatronics you face were more clear on how to take down, cuz I kept losing my streak when I ran into: Toy Bonnie, Toy Chica, Springtrap, Circus Baby, and once with Plushtrap and Jack-o-Bonnie. I really wish I didn’t have to go looking up how to defeat the animatronics. All in all I really like the game, and there can definitely be more potential to it, but there are some reworks I would like to see, such as maybe an animatronic guide, or maybe making it so that the game doesn’t crash so often (which has been a problem for me). Also a lot of things in the stor seem to be wayyyy over priced, especially for a mobile game. ### 4/5 — Great game but I don’t earn enough fazcoins *2020-08-30, version 8.0.0* The game overall is pretty fun, not to mention I’m a huge fnaf fan. But the main problem I have is that I just feel like we should earn fazcoins when we beat the animatronics. And if that’s not fixed then when we watch the adds, we should get at least like 30-50 coins because it’s a little ridiculous that I start with 150, the thing I want to buy is over 1,000, and I get 2 or 5 when watching an add. Also I hate how the game randomly crashes while I’m playing. Sometimes I lose my streak and it always crashes before I it tells me what I got. So I could have gotten plush suits or CPU’s from the animatronics and then lost them from the game crashing. Speaking of plush suits and CPU’s, why is it so rare for me to get them? I feel like their should be difficulty of getting plush suits and CPU’s from the animatronics. For instance, Freddy’s and easy character so getting a plush suit or CPU from him should be common and getting a plush suit or CPU from Springtrap should be rare since he’s a harder animatronic. But with all the critics out of the way, I love the game so much and I can’t wait for the upcoming characters. This game has so much potential and I’m sure it’ll get better in the future. ### 4/5 — Great game! But it needs something. Plz read! *2020-08-06, version 7.1.0* Why can’t you just earn fazcoins and buy suits and stuff? I know I seem cheap but IM A KID so any of you people judging me for not wanting to spend money, KIDS CANT HAVE JOBS. So can you please make it so you can just earn fazcoins? Otherwise, GREAT GAME! I love it! Hard enough to be a little frustrating but hey! You develop a strategy just like you need to do in the originals! Also, it’s AR! Terrifying, but awesome! And the fact that it flickers between ETERNAL PACKAGE and Funtime package just reminds you, you aren’t safe with these animatronics.... And the salvage feature, I LOVE the salvage feature and how they can get dirty? Terrifying, but AWESOME! I love the game but I just wish you could make it so you can earn about like, idk ten to fifteen fazcoins from defeating an animatronic? Maybe more? I would like to give money into this, but I only have two dollars and no source of money except for losing teeth. I want to use my money sparingly if I was rich, I’d put lots of money into this! So, great game, maybe add some fazcoins you can earn in the future! And keep up the great work on this awesome game! Also it keeps crashing plz make it so u can lower the graphics or something ### 5/5 — Great and Fun Game!! But, Some bugs. *2020-07-02, version 7.0.0* I really love this game. I love how the have new updates now and then, adding a new animatronic or skin. The models are well done and I love how they are shiny. It makes then look very nice. I usually play this game 1 hour a day Because I love it! Illumix is a great company and I suggest downloading this game. But there are a few bugs. Ok, so I’ve gotten this bug a lot of times and probably a lot of people too. When I’m fighting springtrap, when his eyes turn red, I look away super quick, but I still die. It’s called insta-kill. Also, I hate this bug so much. Every time I unlock a SKIN when I beat the animatronic, I go to the workshop and it’s not there. Sometimes it’s given me the skin back a couple hours later, but sometimes it doesn’t do this to me every time. Please fix this bug I really hate this bug. Ok so, this bug is happening to me. As you know, when mangle charges at you have to put the mask on, but when I do, she still kills me, and I HATE THIS. I’m trying so hard to get her CPU but every time she does this. Ok, that’s all! Please don’t make this review stop you from downloading this game, trust me you’ll definitely like this game! I hope you guys fix these bugs in the future!! Goodbye! ### 4/5 — Do your job *2020-06-27, version 7.0.0* The game itself is super good. You guys did a great job at making FNaF come to life, and a great setup for phase two of FNaF, which I think will be about video games coming to real life! But enough about lore. The game itself is great, I love the idea of sending animatronics to jumpscare friends(only problem is I have to persuade the friend to download this game lol). This is definitely a 5 star game... in concept. The problem is that it keeps getting stuck on 5 percent, 47 percent, or 90 percent on the loading screen. And don’t you dare have the nerve to say it’s my device’s problem, because I am connected to WiFi and have a mobile data plan, and a LOT of free storage. You say it’s the device’s problem when TONS of people have this problem... so are you saying that EVERYONE has a bad device? Because this is the game, not the device’s problem. I guess Illumix just can’t grasp the fact that it’s their fault this is happening, and because of this, they blame it on the player; who’s fault it isn’t. Scott made many mistakes in life, and yet he still managed to own up to them and fix them. His biggest mistake was probably putting Illumix in charge of Special Delivery. Please mark this as helpful so that Illumix can see this- or at least some person wanting to download the game. ### 5/5 — I love the growth this game is showing, there is still one thing though *2020-06-22, version 7.0.0* I think that this game has shown a lot of improvement and increase in content over the last few months since I first downloaded it, and I’m pretty excited because of that. I love the concept of this game and bringing Freddy and his friends into your own house, or even collecting your own cast of characters to send out to either scavenge for parts or scare your friends. The models for this game look awesome, especially for a mobile game, and it really shows how much Fnaf has grown over all these years. There’s still one thing that bugs me though, and it’s been present since the first release, I’m not sure if this is intentional or to be fixed but, here’s my two cents. I don’t like the fact that Freddy and his friends can attack, even in the shop or when you’re trying to modify your endoskeletons, and I have to answer their attack, or else my streak and some of my remnant will be lost. To fix this, I would suggest an option to make yourself visible or invisible to the animatronics, that way you can chose when you want to fight against the animatronics, and when you want to take a little break to upgrade your endoskeletons or do some shopping. Otherwise, I’ll be staying tuned for any updates on the game, I’m really excited to see how everything goes! First VR as a beta tester now anitronics are being dropped off at your house!!! Fnaf world was trying to tell us where this was headed but we didn’t listen because one piece of the lore is crazy to figure out. Anyways fnaf 2 is a prequel of a sequel. Fnaf 1 comes after fnaf 2. And there is a location in 1985 that was left to rot. So yeah. New year with a time traveling ball pit. So anyways before the 1985 location there was Freadbears Family Diner as we know from fnaf 4. Then Michel was put back together as a glorified robot/A.I. And went to The Fnaf Sister Location, gets scooped, and is still alive. He gets a job at fnaf 6/ a rip-off of Freddy Fazbears And lores all the scrapped anitronics in there and burned not only the anitronics but the whole pizzeria and himself. Then you’re a beta tester of Fnaf VR Help Wanted. And now there’s anitronics being shipped to your house and there’s nothing you can do about it. And now there’s a teaser image of a 80’s theme that looks like Season three of Stranger Things on Netflix. Here’s my question Scott Cawthon. Where’s this heading towards, and how is this going to end because this is getting close to finishing everything about lore for your games. This took me YEARS to get up to this. I just want answers. Anyways great game I have to admit. P.S. FNaF “Into the Pit” is out now on audible. I recommend it. ### 4/5 — Great game big miss *2020-06-15, version 6.1.0* So I have been playing fnaf AR for a long time now and I think it is really great. It’s one of my top games. The only part that I don’t like about it is that you lose the game when you don’t pick up the phone and play an animatronic. And that was hard because I had a six win strike and I had to help my friend figure out the game more so I lost the whole thing. Now I do really like what you are doing to the animatronics on holidays and just some special events but you could also do a animatronic repair package. This is where you could put in the withered animatronics so you play in your room and you have to fix them and do it right or you get jump scared. You could even put the scrap animatronics from fnaf six. Even you could put in the other animatronics from fnaf six other than the scraps. And make like a testing check package we’re you have to test the animatronics in your room but something bad happens like rockstar Bonnie losses his guitar and you have to find it before he jumps at you. There is a whole lot of stuff you can do with this game I have so many ideas on what you can do but this is only a review. I enjoy the FNaF series greatly, and it’s a blast to see the characters with unique behaviors/experiences in this (also) unique game that has a lot to offer. The modes using the camera are engaging and fun (but also difficult) to master. It feels like there’s always something to do and nail down while waiting for my salvage and such. The in-game store is about what you’d expect from a game of this nature but the currency is also able to be obtained from other means, which i appreciate. The available purchases really pack a punch and mean something to the gameplay- in my opinion, better than other mobile AR apps. The models are pretty realistic and polished, and add to the atmosphere, as well as the visual quality that improves horror games. I also enjoy the communication present with the friend system for what it is. Even with all this, the game doesn’t overwhelm on any front, although the stress attempting to keep a streak going does. 10/10 would scream at Balloon Boy again ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 2/5 — Great concept, terrible game. Also glitches. *2020-04-10, version 5.0.0* This game was really great and exciting for maybe the first hour or two that I played it. Then I started noticing some pretty major glitches. For example: really often crashes. Then when you re enter the game, your streak is gone. Sometimes the streak doesn't even have a reason for dying, it just decides that it wants to. I could deal with that though. I kept playing. Until one day, the game started to load and just got stuck at 40%. I just thought, "hey I'll just try again." This time it got stuck at 50%. I kept reloading and each time it got 10% further. Until it got to 90%. It just permanently got stuck there and never let me play again. I tried deleting it and reinstalling, and it let me into the game. The second time I tried to play it, the same glitch happened. So basically, if I wanted to play still, I would have to delete and reinstall it every time. It seems that this glitch is uncommon though so hopefully if you decide to play, it doesn't happen to you. Another thing: I keep seeing reviews calling this game a "kid trap" or a "child trap." No. No it's not. It asks for your location because it connects to google maps so that it can show where the animatronics are coming from. There's no evil intention or anything coming from the location request. TLDR: This game is insanely glitchy, but if you can deal with that, hey, give it a try. ### 2/5 — IPAD *2020-02-20, version 3.0.0* So I saw this on The App Store when I was looking through some apps to get on my iPad and then I saw this game I was like oh my god this game is going to be so cool but then it turned out it was only for phones are iPhones or iPods and I want to be on an iPad because I have an iPad right here and up that’s what I play on so if you get this the people who make this the company or whatever or that the person who made this game can you please try to make this on an iPad so I can finally be on this iPad is I’ve never played this game before but I know them all the game is everybody else is saying it has a camera so if you get this please put it on the company PS now I hope that you get there’s actually just got it read it read it do you starve you make it on make it on actually no no no no no make it to star rating wants to rating because it is very bad day does the actual nurse give it a two star rating ha ha OK actually no ha ha but get a game called MMMMMM scatter gories it is really fun and I am on there so you convert me as my name is cookie mom and you can get me and yeahThe navy blue if you don’t then you’re stupid OK got to get in and get a great grade make a good gay great great great great great game the people made it so we made it good yeah so that’s why I get it and read it so good like I did I actually love writing things and sometimes bad sometimes ### 3/5 — Crashes *2020-06-21, version 6.1.0* Overall, it’s a really fun game. I enjoy having to look around for the animatronics by having to spin around looking for static and it kinda looks sarcastic reading this but, I’m not. It’s actually really fun! But there’s one major problem. Crashes. I often find myself in the same situation where I’m up against an animatronic then, my game suddenly crashes. First thing I do is get right back in the game and everything’s fine but I quickly realize that my win streak is back to zero. Sometimes it’s not a big deal if my streak is at a low number like one or two, but at larger streaks like ten or twelve, it makes me not wanting to play because I don’t want to be disappointed. This is the biggest problem I encounter but not the only. There’s two more minor problems. One is while the game is loading it gets stuck at 90% and a quick solution for that is to just close then reopen the window but it’s still slightly annoying. The last complaint I have is sometimes it shows my camera frozen leaving me unable to look around. The only solution I’ve found for that is to close the window which ruins my streak. I do have a recommendation. Maybe it would be good to have an option to turn off AR mode and instead of looking around you just swipe. Overall even through all these bugs I still enjoy this game! I started recently so I can’t wait to see what’s more to offer. ### 3/5 — Good in general, but needs some balancing *2019-12-04, version 1.0.0* This is a decently fun game that I like to play that try’s something new. however I did do think so things need to be changed.. to start off, your flashlight power runs out way too quickly and if it goes below 10% then you automatically lose because you can’t use your taser. This could be easily fixed so It’s not the biggest of problems. My main problem is with the harder animatronics, like baby and spring trap. They are so hard that it makes me feel like they are almost impossible to win against, the reason being that there is a mechanic in the game where the animatronic glitches and you have to look away or you lose. When this happened with these I had perfectly fine reaction time, almost right when I saw it I looked away, and I still lost! it too hard and really has to be balanced. other than some things that can only be blamed on it being new, I have 1 last problem which is that there not really anything to work for! there are very rare rewards for beating the animatronics but they don’t really do anything. there is a currency you can get but the only way you use it is just to get MORE of the currency, making it basically useless. There is also 1 other currency which you have to spend real money on and is the only way you can really get anything. other than those 2 problems this game is really fun and you shouldn’t let my review stop you from playing it. ### 3/5 — A good game, needs some polishing. *2019-11-29, version 1.0.0* Don’t get me wrong. I absolutely adore this game and all of the other FNaF games, but this one has a couple critical problems. The game mechanics are very vague and hard to catch on to. For instance, the flashlight. The game got me hooked on using the flashlight always, but you run out of power quickly. This led to problems down the road when there were more animatronics back to back. Another problem is the fact that when I don’t click on the camera button to defend against an animatronic, I lose my streak as if I died. It does that as well when I close out of the game by also acting like I died. That was very problematic for me. I bought a battery pack of three as an in app purchase, and I never used them. The next day I got back on and they were gone. Those are fazcoins I will never get back. The rules to the game are very discrete and because of the lack of things to do, the game got very boring, very quickly. I do like the story you can pick up on in the emails but again, they were really random and at first I thought they were just other people. There needs to be a patch on the remnant upgrader as well because I tried to drag the bar over and it didn’t work. The game frequently crashes even though I have the best iPhone on the market right now. This is very frustrating and I hope these things can be fixed and more can be added to the game. I’m a little disappointed Scott. ### 3/5 — Great! But missing a few things! *2019-11-25, version 1.0.0* The game is really fun and even frightening at times but it does need a bit more in some areas. The gameplay is crisp and other than a few bugs is always fun. The workshop system is a really good concept but needs a few more things to work perfectly. I believe mainly that animatronic parts need more use than just repairing your animatronics and buying limited time buffs. Maybe they could be traded in for a small amount of faz coins or could be used to build mods and plushsuits for the animatronics. These are just ideas of course but I do believe as a whole they need more use especially sense you get them for doing practically anything. Other than that the workshop system is really fun and all I would want is to have more to do with your animatronics other than salvaging and attacking your friends. I do also believe that after you complete an animatronic encounter and successfully zap them you should have full power. I’ve run into many situations where I would win against an animatronic to instantly as I leave have another animatronic attack me and with no power I can’t do anything but accept my fate. Other than that the game is extremely fun and I look forward to new dlc. ### 3/5 — Fun, but Fun? *2019-11-23, version 1.0.0* Sorry, I didn’t know what to name the title. Anyway, I have a few questions and things I think need improvements about the game. 1st, how do I get more fazcoins? Do I have to buy more, or is their a way to get more without spending real money? 2nd, when you send out endos, I believe they bring back bolts. Which I then believe you can use bolts to repair your endos. So do you send out endos to gets bolts to repair them with if they injure themself during their journey? Or can the bolts be used for other things? 3rd (the thing I’m most concerned about), when an animatronic comes to you, how are you supposed to know where it is in the moment? For example, when I am looking around, I might see it’s still image. So I say to my self, “Oh! So I guess that I just patrol this area then.” But when I hear it running towards me, it’s not in that location. So I move my phone around quickly to try and find it, but I don’t, and then I die. So if their is something I am missing about that problem, please tell me. But if I’m not missing anything, please make it so that there is a way to find out where it’s location is, without it feeling to much like RNG. The animatronics look amazing (except for the dark water bare endo, ugly thing.) the animations are good, the dark circus dlc looks pretty good, and the skins have a lot of detail. The gameplay could be a bit confusing sometimes as one time I was collecting remnant, being careful of shadow Bonnie, I left because I was bored and 10 seconds later shadow Bonnie is just like “hello there” even though I left. But that’s just a glitch. The gameplay depends on how used you are to the game, if your new, the gameplay is fun and cool, but once you’ve played for long enough then it gets repetitive and boring. Alright, now let’s focus on the bad side for the rest of this review. The leveling system is a bit… more on the absurd side, in my opinion. And it doesn’t really work if you unlock new animatronics at a specific level since the enemies are just the same thing over and over again. Not to mention the health system…why? And the final part of this… payments. This game has WAY too many app purchases for it to be a simple horror mobile game. This game has purchases left and right. Should this even be owned by illumix? Honestly with all these in app purchases, may as well have it be owned by EA. Overall, this game has more bad than good. So it should just be called “payment grinding simulator” ### 4/5 — Idk *2022-08-09, version 16.1.0* Ok I’ll rate four until you guys see this so 1. I think you should start giving skins for beating animatronics and please fix the glitch where if I play I can’t tap anything and 2. Why are packages costing so much money like I can barely get a skin for 26$ it’s just I want a skin without just paying to get 1 singular skin I’d rather pay parts that’s how I would play and 3. I like the quests but I don’t like when any animatronic waste all of your power health really made the game a lot worse I like the game and all and 4. I know it’s an app game but money is not just right for a plush suit and lure’s that just defeats the purpose of trying to actually trying to get the animatronic and I recommend a daily schedule of where you can get lures and sometimes animatronic skins and 5. (This is the last one) I think you should stop giving parts every single time you beat an animatronic like 3 parts it’s just I’d rather have a daily schedule than that and stop making health so bad it’s just I don’t wanna waste my money on extra battery’s please notice this developers and please fix this please let me know when you get done on an update log. 😐👍 ### 4/5 — Cool but *2022-02-08, version 16.1.0* Ok so this game is fun but slightly lacks the atmosphere of the other Fnaf games. Of course this is a whole different game. The best way to describe it: FNAF but Pokémon. The execution is great but the idea is just mediocre. Though I have to admit I’m addicted. One thing, this is probably due to me being a noob to this game, but a better guide to changing your character or at least a way to view all of your characters. One suggestion: have the animatronics you have collected be able to be your profile picture. This would possibly motivate people to get the rare difficult animatronics so you can put them as your profile pic. Maybe it’s just me, but I feel like this game has more of the security breach kid friendly vibe. There is nothing wrong with that, and I don’t know how you could make it more like the first few games, but the missing nostalgia is like a huge hole in the idea of a good game. Nostalgia is an important factor in games like this, and the only reason my rating is four stars is the missing nostalgia. Again it did bring back memories but the number of pop ups and classic mobile game red flags kind of ruins the Fnaf feel. Again good game, great execution, ok gameplay, meh idea, but it is missing something. That something is sadly what is keeping it from the place in my heart where Fnaf is. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Day One Player to Today *2022-12-06, version 16.1.0* I’ll say this, I’m not a huge fan of FNAF but before I upgraded my phone, there was a lot of crashing. Probably because the IPhone 7 wasn’t the best to run this game at the time, I wasn’t frustrated though because a bit before the crashes I was actually enjoying the game. Somehow I found it addicting to play whether it was collecting remnant or shocking animatronics. It’d always be spooky to have someone interrupt my remnant collecting with the sound of a doorbell and a shock button appearing. I would always also try and get my friends into it even if they didn’t like FNAF like how I did, they had a hard time understanding how they died or what they’re doing wrong but it was nice to teach them how to defeat some animatronics. I later got an IPhone 13 and can now finally run this game flawlessly with no crashes. Illumix, I wasn’t aware of your company until you made this charm of a game and I hope the services won’t be shutting down for this game cause I’ll still be out there shocking animatronics till this day. The only thing I’m hoping for is new animatronics to finally face, maybe a co-op mode so you and a nearby friend can attempt to defeat one animatronic that attacks only one individual per rush and attacks everyone with it’s hallucination and of course would love more updates! (P.S. For any new players, get ready to have some fun, fun, fun, fun, fun, fun, fun!) ### 5/5 — Great game but a little buggy *2022-08-10, version 16.1.0* I have been playing for FNAF AR for years and it’s a great game overall but recently there have been some really odd bugs mainly with Bonnie I enter it the encounter and I use my flashlight while he’s visible he’ll go away all sounds that he makes goes away footsteps in the glitch also goes away and I’m forced to leave but when I leave it automatically says I lose regardless and I lose hi streaks there’s also one where if I enter Bonnie I die instantly but again aside from that which honestly I rarely ever get these bugs anymore but I’ve just recently started getting a hot drop of them. Overall this game is 100 out of 10 it has amazing storyline the circus dark Circus is definitely worth $20 I think all of the mechanics in the game are really great except for the fact that we run out of battery so quickly it be nice if we had extra batteries that we can take along that are free but if we want more we can pay fast coins for them and they’ll be more expensive because while playing with Bonnie he likes to psych me out so I use up my flashlight and I’m only using it for a couple seconds batteries definitely need an extended time on them because opening your flashlight cost 3% and using it is 1% every second which is kind of annoying for Bonnie just recently had to restart my account because I couldn’t restore it kinda lame 🥲🥲🥲🥲 ### 5/5 — How to play *2022-08-02, version 16.1.0* Dude I’m not joking it’s really well made just for how to play ok let me explain so for basic steps freddy:you don’t have to keep the light on for him just put the light on and the turn it off)Bonnie:he is a bit more tricky so you might need extra batteries for him because you need the light on and battery runs out fast)foxy:he’s a bit different from the others so when you here him start running just try to find him as quickly as possible)haywiring:ok so haywire is a hard thing when animatronics have a bit much of aggressiveness uhh they tend to glitch and when you see them glitch turn away as fast as possible there eyes are red when this happens)balloon boy:I haven’t beaten him yet but I know how he works so he’s kinda short so yea you need to look down for him he is very aggressive and doesn’t show himself very much so he haywires a lot)static:ok there’s two forms of static the first one is like you have to look around for it now when you see static that’s where the animatronic is but when there’s static to where you can’t see well then shake your screen)springtrap:ok so when he haywires he will have white or red eyes so if he has red look away but if there white look at him he’s also really really aggressive) I really don’t have time to do more so I’m done ### 5/5 — I LOVE THIS GAME!!! *2022-04-21, version 16.1.0* Although I just started playing this game I already love it but I do have two requests for this game such as making the flashlight be more useful than just being able to see the static better, killing RWQFSFASXZ aka Shadow Bonnie, and getting remanent (maybe it would uncloak the animations early and scare them back a little bit), and the second request I have is to make the lures cost less faz coins because I’ve been playing for a while and I’m about 2/3 away from buying a 300 faz coin lure I understand you would want people to keep playing or pay money to get them but for people like me who can’t spend money on my games it takes five-ever to get a 300 coin lure (I would suggest changing the 300 coin lure to at least 200 or 175 coins so people can still play for them and people could still want to pay for them). To sum it all up make the flashlight more useful and knock off one third of the prices for lures. Good bye!👋 ### 5/5 — The Battery Dilemma *2021-05-22, version 14.0.0* Let me start by saying that the new system is much better than the previous two. The first one, where the animatronics kept coming without giving you a second to breathe, was absolutely terrible. The second on, where you had to actually click on the question mark icons but still had the same battle system, was an improvement. This new 14th update has similarities to both, good and bad. The concept is great. The health bars, shields, and power ups are excellent ideas. They come with downsides, however. Using the same system of tracking down the robots, waiting for them to strike, and usually getting a haywire or fake charge is a terrible concept. Additionally, the battery life was not changed at all! Come on Illumix! Use some common sense! The more times you’re going to need to shock the bot, the more battery you’re going to need. I, a player since the near beginning, am forced to use an extra battery every other encounter. Not only that, but the system where battery life carries over between encounters is asinine! So, my advice is that you remove the loss of battery from using the shocker completely. If a player shocks and misses, you can penalize them by removing the shock button for a few seconds. ### 5/5 — Good! But... *2021-03-16, version 13.3.0* Okay first off let me just say I love this game. I don’t want to be harsh, or say this game is bad. I was super exited to get this game, because I have seen YouTubers play it like, Andiematronic, as well as Markiplier, and I wanted it so bad because it was the only real Five Nights at Freddy’s game that was free, and for mobile. Unfortunately, sometimes it will like, just log me out. And I have to find another animatronic. Now, this may just be me. Though I have deleted like a quarter of my games, and it still does that. I also never have any tabs open. I have played it with my friend, she hasn’t had the issue, but I haven’t a clue if other people have. It doesn’t seem as though that is the case, as I was reading other people’s reviews. That’s my only issue that I have come across thus far, and I only say that because I am not that far into the game, though I will soon! I was shocked when i found it and i downloaded it almost immediately. I go to load up the game, but i crash after turning on location. Im like “This is fine, I need to just give it more time to load.” I go back into the app, and I was able to get to the map. But then it crashes. It seems to crash every time it goes to the map now. So I cant really play it. Usually games with too much graphics which is a good thing, but maybe on the menu you can make a lower graphics switch? I don't know anybody with my problem though so.... But. I have seen many videos on it. Every update makes the game better and better, with all the new skins, concepts, and features, it just brings the game together. The voice actors do great and some of the ways to defeat (?) the animatronics are very creative and i congratulate Illumix for that. The small hints of lore are cleverly placed, and I could (and would) watch this game being played for hours upon hours on end. So if maybe you could fix it up that would be great, and if not I completely understand, just keep up the good work. :D ### 5/5 — Everything is in working order, but... *2020-11-13, version 10.1.0* Recently, I have been having some dead screen troubles where after successfully zapping/incapacitating an animatronic, the screen doesn’t progress to the reward screen, but stays in the AR encounter screen. I don’t know if this would be considered an app freeze, but the background ambience noise can still be heard and the camera is still real-time, yet the flashlight, zapper, and battery % icons are gone. Other times, the app simply stalls and exits (crashes?) after a successful encounter. I’m wondering what the issue might be—if it’s my phone or if it’s the app’s server I’m currently connected to—but I have an iPhone X with iOS 14.2, so I know my system needed to run the app exceeds minimum requirement already. Other than those small couple of problems, this app is excellent. The encounters are fantastic (when they don’t stay on dead screen or immediately exit out of the app after success), and the spontaneity of the character animatronics are varied enough to keep you on edge and give a good scare. [Also, this might be because I do not have that many remnants nor that large of a streak, but I have so far never received any kind of plush suit to customize my animatronic endoskeleton, out of any of the successful encounters I’ve had.] ### 5/5 — my game glitched but I don’t wanna delete it or else I will lose my progress. *2020-09-30, version 8.0.0* Today i was playing on my iPad and was getting bored so I decided to play fanf ar. When I got on it took a while to load so I deleted 1 or 2 games and it worked. When I got on I realized my animatronics getting parts were now the Freddy head with a ? on it. I went to check my workshop and my foxy and baby now had the image of Freddy. Then I tried fixing baby by going to the plush suits and unselect got and re select it. When I went to the plush suits there were no suits not even the pictures of the animatronic suits I didn’t have. Then I realized it said baby had 9,999 reamnet even tho I probaly gave her a title bit above 100 reamnet. I tried closing out the app but it took forever to load again so I deleted another game. Everything was still the same I tried closing out one more time but didn’t want to sacrifice anymore games so I decided to wait. I waited for maybe 2 minutes and it was still stuck on 82%.
