I wish they’d kept the original one, too and given us a choice to use either one. I think the switch to a different, although more secure app, was done without regard to the loyal patrons who are now unable to do online banking. Since Five Star Credit Union changed their app, which no longer supports my phone, I will be using a different bank from now on. I am very disappointed with Five Star CU. They already had other issues I did not like, such as trying to contact them to ask a simple question about my account. They are rarely available, and waste my time waiting for them to contact me back. I used to think Five Star was the best, but this was the last straw. They should change their name too, call it “One Star Credit Union.” ### 1/5 — Fees for everything *2025-11-28, version 3.28.0* It seems like every action made in my account has a fee . I have transfer fees if I move money from savings to checking or vice versa . They have a bunch of heavy over draft fees . My phone is working fine and won’t allow a 17.0 update. Five Star upper management has cut many members off by making this decision due to the fact that we have older phones that cannot apply the change. I have been a member of Five Star for over 25 yrs. I have depended on this Ap. since it has been available. I use it everyday to check on my accounts. I do not go out and buy new phones to keep up with the new updates that have been released. I use my phones until it is absolutely time for a new one, meaning it quits working! BAD CALL Five Star!! From answering the phone to mobile support they simply get it wrong every time. I like the new features of being able to see spending habits and creating saving goals. Once you get logged in with all your information, it’s pretty sweet! ### 5/5 — LOVE the updated app! *2026-05-15* Very user friendly and offers so much more. Now you can see overdraft tolerance, repayment plans, and pending deposits. I have the ability to add my own travel notes and change my pin # instead of having to come inside.
