The Fivestar app reflected that I was eligible to receive a free fish and chip meal by redeeming 8 points out of the 12 points I received for visits to the restaurant. However, when paying I was informed that I would only receive a $1 discount for every $10 spent and that the points in the app are no longer valid. It appears from other reviews that similar situations are happening to other clients at other places. Will you be updating the app any time soon? Otherwise, the Fivestar app is useless. ### 1/5 — No Code *2025-10-07, version 6.3.1* Can not receive a code to sign up on this app. ### 1/5 — All Vape & Smoke Shops *2025-08-22, version 6.3.1* So i live in a nice area. Just loaded up the app as my fav pizza place now switched rewards program to Fivestars. I begin to use the app’s Explore feature. 7 out of the first 8 results that were returned by the app were vape or smoke shops. Might be early stages of the app but not my cup of tea. #delete ### 2/5 — I’m not receiving coupons. *2025-08-08, version 6.3.1* I’ve been a member of five star for nearly 10 years and all of a sudden I’m not receiving my coupons provided by the companies. ### 1/5 — Poor customer service *2025-07-18, version 6.3.1* I came in at 3:00 am and tha woman was argumentative to me cause I mentioned about how I didn’t get the 20.00 for 20 deal she saying she gave it to me which I know she didn’t and said I was getting loud which she was getting loud with me first and saying she gonna get me kicked out I hope she loses her job she was really mean and nasty to me I didn’t diserve that at all I probably won’t be back poor customer service ### 1/5 — Not getting full points *2025-07-10, version 6.3.1* I noticed today I spent $60 and only received 25 points. However I’m supposed to receive 1 point per dollar spent. I have no idea if this has happened before. If I don’t get help from support I will be taking the steps to report this as false advertising. ### 2/5 — Can’t login *2025-04-15, version 6.2.0* I’ve had an account and was good at first but now the app won’t even let you login, it asks for email but says it’s already in use (that’s because I already have an account) so the app is trash NOW since nobody can ever login now .. please fix! Tried doing this “ rewards” thing but app is clearly not working . Do not get rewards or freee pizzas lol. Not funny really considering the FACT I’ve purchased about 20 pizzas . This doesn’t count the number of friends orders !! The store itself has NO knowledge on how to correct.! Since I can’t get help I’ve stopped buying from them! The service there has become mid level but their food is very good . Unfortunately this is the case and they care so little and plan on people continuing to buy . Idk I guess no more discounts eh ### 1/5 — Refusing to delete personal info *2026-06-04, version 6.5.0* Sent a data deletion request with my accounts linked info, email and phone. Yet they refuse and instead require me to verify my identity despite the fact I reply from the very same email address linked on the account. Clearly a scummy company obsessed with stealing, collecting and tracking customer data. Do not use. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t Work *2026-04-21, version 6.5.0* Can’t even get a code when I submit my phone number. I decided to give it a second chance and still cannot get a code sent to me. Ridiculous ### 1/5 — Impossible to use - no login option *2026-04-11, version 6.5.0* I already have a Fivestars account. When I open the app it asks for my name and email, to which I get an error message that my email is already in use (yes, by me) and that I need to use another email or email customer service. Nowhere can I click to login to my account or even click a “forgot password” to reset my access. I therefore am unable to access or use any part of the app. ### 1/5 — Bait contract with Auto-Renewal *2026-03-26, version 6.5.0* They don’t let you cancel and keep offering promo months so they can auto renew your contract without your acknowledgment ### 1/5 — Won’t let me log into my account *2026-02-16, version 6.5.0* Every time I try to check my points, I don’t have the option to log into, only sign up ### 1/5 — App will not log in. *2026-01-29, version 6.5.0* I have been having trouble for over a month, this app will not log me in, the icon just spins forever and then crashes. ### 1/5 — Refused to redeem my points *2026-01-04, version 6.5.0* After to reached the 600 point they refused to redeem the discount ### 1/5 — Annoying *2025-12-31, version 6.5.0* Keeps putting my country as US, even though my phone number is Canadian. I deleted the app and manually chose Canada as my country before proceeding forward and it still shows USA as my country in the next screen. I don’t know if I should proceed forward with the wrong country and potentially be locked out of deals/an account, once they get this figured out or just give up now. ### 1/5 — Won’t let me login *2025-12-01, version 6.4.0* The “verification code” is sent after you can’t use it anymore. Hit resend, nothing. Texts me the code 15 minutes after it should. Impossible to login. Both Jeff and Josh treat everyone equally. To me and I’m sure others appreciate being treated so well by them and it’s an absolute pleasure doing business with them.
