### 4/5 — Great - just needs a watch app

*2026-08-05, version 2.6.5*

Amazing app, been using it for years and have paid for the extras. Please get a watchOS app built, in this day and age with AI tools it shouldn’t be a problem to give us a simple companion one!

### 3/5 — Great template

*2026-03-26, version 2.6.5*

This app is doing a lot of great things and is far better than you sitting with a spreadsheet and planning out your lifts and cycles on the program, but it is lacking a lot of the function of that same spreadsheet for a program that is largely based on using a template and making your own

### 3/5 — Great app, but missing flexibility

*2026-03-03, version 2.6.5*

Love the interface and features but inability to modify reps and weight during workouts is a showstopper for me. Strength and energy vary enough day to day that I really miss the flexibility to adjust or at least accurately and easily record rep count and even set count that other apps support

### 3/5 — Wish for some more features

*2026-02-24, version 2.6.5*

A few things that would make this app 5 stars is to be able to change/update the day’s workout on the fly, for example to change/add/remove the assistance exercises (not for the whole cycle) as well as being able to update the weight and reps mid-workout.
Supersets, or at least be able to check off the exercises in any order. The krypteia people need this!
The option for timed sets, not just reps. Having those features would make this app my go-to for workout logging. Thanks!

### 5/5 — Love it!

*2025-12-16, version 2.6.5*

Love this app. Simple to use and can really be customized. I am having good results in the weight room most importantly!

### 5/5 — Best 531 app so far

*2025-12-14, version 2.6.5*

The title

### 5/5 — Brilliant app

*2025-12-09, version 2.6.5*

Best app for wendler on the market. Fair play to the developers too they price it well and in app purchases are fair and reasonable too

### 4/5 — Good app should show PB’s

*2025-11-25, version 2.6.5*

Good overall app, only thing is on your last set doesn’t show you how much you need for a PB

### 5/5 — Only App for Me

*2025-11-06, version 2.6.5*

This is by far the best app for proper programming. Ease of use, intuitive layout, and so many features. Awesome strength gains while using this. Get it, and start tracking your progress.

### 3/5 — Great potential

*2025-09-17, version 2.6.5*

Nice interface, set marking, program creation but needs more variants and, most of all, the ability to superset or move between exercises while marking sets

### 5/5 — Progressive Overload Made Easy

*2025-09-08, version 2.6.5*

Love the app so far, however my gym uses kg bar/plates for bench and lbs for squat racks. Would love to have the option to create both a kg and a lbs plate set that i can interchange during my workouts.

### 4/5 — Boring But Big

*2025-09-01, version 2.6.5*

App looks good but the 531 sets are same day as the BBB sets. Was hoping they alternated ( eg 531 bench then BBB OHP; not 531 bench and BBB bench same day)

### 5/5 — Très pratique

*2025-06-24, version 2.6.4*

Excellente application, très bien faite pour bien suivre et programmer ses cycles 5/3/1. Il manque seulement quelques éléments de 5/3/1 Forever comme la 7ème semaine

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Erased and lost complete training history

*2026-03-02, version 2.6.5*

I lost 5 cycles of data in an instant. I should have known because the App has been erratic and buggy from the start. Here’s what happened: I adjusted my “training max” from 90% to 80% to see what the numbers (weight) would be. The iPhone screen went white. When I exited and restarted the phone, all my data was gone. It’s not the end of the world, but charting my progress over time was the point. I only had 5 cycles recorded, but it is disappointing. I was preparing for week 3 and I remember exactly what my 1+ set weight numbers are. I can recreate week 3 and week 4 (de-load week). This App just seems like an inexperienced kid put it together.

### 1/5 — Basic problems

*2025-12-18, version 2.6.5*

Nice interface, set marking, program creation but inability to superset or switch between exercises is absurd

### 1/5 — Needs more adjustment

*2024-09-16, version 2.6.0*

Guess the developers have quit with this app, no updates… Basic with limited adjustments. For a paying app. Would be 4 stars for a free app.
Glitch with the app keeps going to a day in the past instead of the training day…

### 1/5 — Not user friendly at all

*2023-04-04, version 2.6.0*

App is very difficult to navigate, when trying to reschedule days/workouts during a week. No allowance for changing days, adding a workout on a different day. No flexibility at all

### 1/5 — App not working

*2023-02-25, version 2.6.0*

Issues

App shows type of exercise but rest of screen greyed out

Tried reloading app
Unable to successfully enter values for weights

In settings all of profession - greyed out

Unable to use app now

Have used it successfully before

### 2/5 — That god damn calendar

*2025-11-14, version 2.6.5*

The ui is perfect, it has all the options. I would prefer to see the sets I still have completed instead of just hiding them and my foil tin hat think it’s to sell the addons which I bought.

But that god damn calendar is ruining the app. It limit the option so much! I just hate it with all my soul!!

Also the addons for supplements have FSL but no SSL? It would be so simple just to add it…

Oh and the app prevent screen to close, but you don’t get the app notifications if the app is open… so if you just do your sets and rest without checking your phone you’ll never have any notifications…

So close yet so far… it’s really sad…

### 2/5 — (Was)Great program - too many bugs - no support

*2025-10-31, version 2.6.5*

I’ve used this for a year about and I love(d) the ease of scheduling and the way it increases weight as you progress through cycles. Unfortunately if you miss a workout you need to be in the calendar view to reset it and move your other workouts. If you do it from the page “missed workouts” it will move only the one and now they’re mixed up. There’s no undo. Calendar now randomly goes to old dates. There’s no resetting or canceling a cycle and starting over and finally there’s no support or documentation. So good luck.

Also, now that I’m at the gym, I’m remembering that you can’t do exercises out of order. If a machine is being used you have to just wait to continue with the app.

There are better options.

### 2/5 — Great program with real flaws

*2025-10-07*

I’ve used this for a year about and while I love the ease of scheduling and the way it increases weight as you progress through cycles. ### 2/5 — Looks nice in the surface, but frustrating to actually use

*2025-09-28, version 2.6.5*

My last 531 app went out of biz, so I switched to this one based on reviews… and I’m SO annoyed with it. If you stick to the schedule perfectly, it’s fine, but if you have a job or a life and miss a week here or there, it doesn’t adapt with you… I can’t tell you how many times I’ve done the wrong workout because instead of loading the next workout in YOUR PROGRESSION, it loads the workout that it scheduled for you when you did the first workout in the cycle. So aggravating. It also doesn’t seem to adapt and respond to my performance, it just gives me what it thinks it should based on whatever I entered six months ago.

### 2/5 — Great app but deleted all of my progress

*2025-09-11, version 2.6.5*

I’ve been doing 531 for a while and I decided to switch from KeyLifts to this app because of cost. Was half way through my cycle and it deleted all my progress. Not sure what happened but very disappointed that it deleted EVERYTHING. Other than it deleting everything, I do think this is great app for 531.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Love it

*2026-08-17, version 2.6.5*

I love the simplicity, but would just ask for the ability to add FSL to 5’s Pro.

### 5/5 — Training Made Simpler

*2026-07-22, version 2.6.5*

If I knew this concept earlier in my life it would have made a great impact on my training. However, now that I know, thank you all.

In addition, if could break the routine into a 7 day or 6 day program. It would be a great addition.

### 5/5 — Best 5/3/1

*2026-05-26, version 2.6.5*

Wish it would upload to Strava

### 5/5 — Works extremely well

*2026-05-26, version 2.6.5*

Is this app 100% perfect? No. But what is?

Does this app do what it says it will do? To the furthest degree, yes!

I’ve been using this 5/3/1 tracker for almost a year on and off. I’ve purchased most of its add-ons and I will say; for those who want to do the 5/3/1 program but can’t always figure out the math or what you should do next, this tracker takes care of all of that.

Honestly, the additions are worth their one-time cost and I can say that I’ve done so much better with this app than without.

### 5/5 — Solid program

*2026-05-20, version 2.6.5*

This program works well and isn’t overwhelming.

### 5/5 — Best fitness app

*2026-05-16, version 2.6.5*

Just the best 531 app. Everything you need. Nothing you don’t.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2026-04-04, version 2.6.5*

Works really well. Will be upgrading soon to use more features.

### 5/5 — Fantastic strength training app!

*2026-04-02, version 2.6.5*

I switched to Five/Three/One after the StrongLifts app stopped supporting my “lifetime” power pack purchase. Just, wow! I guess that was the kick I needed to find something better.

The layout is really good, purpose built for 5/3/1 strength training variants. You ca tell that the developer uses it themselves. After the first cycle I find I prefer this method to the 5x5. Glad I switched.

### 5/5 — Solid app

*2026-02-13, version 2.6.5*

Solid app and the one time, small fees for upgrades, like plate set customization, are excellent.

### 5/5 — I love it

*2026-01-15, version 2.6.5*

Small change requests.
Add ability to add FSL or SSL in addition to joker sets to end.

Ability to change order of exercised mid work out and look back.

Also the progression tracking does not factor in reps and weight, just training max
