What is Fix My Street? Fix My Street is an internet and mobile platform made available to the public and the authorities to report incidents in public spaces within the Brussels-Capital region. It is, more specifically : - An aid to locating and describing problems. - A tool that informs the public and the authorities at each key stage in the resolution of the incident. The application permits you to quickly signal an incident with your cellphone. With it, it is easy to localize the incident, take a picture and send it to the key authorities. The following types of incidents on roads, green spaces, cycle paths, bridges, tunnels and pavements are covered: Subsidence Debris/Abandoned objects Public lighting Fountains Worn markings Street furniture Planting Water collection Degraded surface coating Signs Holes etc. Who manages this application ? Fix My Street is an initiative of Brussels Mobility in collaboration with the municipalities and Brussels partner institutions. The website and the mobile application were developed and are maintained by the BRIC (Brussels Regional Informatics Centre). The original idea was inspired by MySociety's FixMyStreet. The project was implemented and adapted for the Brussels-Capital Region by the BRIC using the Open Source code of the fixmystreet.ca project of visiblegovernment.ca. Maak het mogelijk om de locatie los te koppelen van een adres. The council and regional services take action, and clean up the mess that others leave behind. We have too many people in Brussels, both residents and visitors, who show an utter disregard towards our city causing damage and litter. The council are doing a good job to try and sort it out. More police walking around, not on bikes or cars, issuing on the spot fines would help. So, 5 stars for the service . One can report a problem on a street/road/park on their website. I do this because the app won't display on my iPhone SE (2016 ios 15). I can fill in the forms, but the Continue button does not do anything.
