Some issues are fixed right away but others are getting copy and paste answers just to close the issues. There are a lot of people submitting complaints for the homeless on the east side and nothing is being done!!! ### 3/5 — FixIt Clark County app review *2023-07-26, version 5.13.0* The app is a great concept, but it is worthless if no one fixes anything. ### 1/5 — Refusal to Address Encampment Issue *2023-06-25* The app refuses to address the encampments that are creeping into Las Vegas neighborhoods especially on the east side. The lady who answers the requests believes that the enjoyment of the few brave people willing to walk on Duck Creek Criminal Haven Trail is more important than closing off some of the entrances that are steps away from schools and parks where children play. The encampments creep out of the entrances to the trails and right into the neighborhoods. And no one in the city of Las Vegas is doing anything about it. ### 4/5 — Speedy response *2023-01-17* I sent in a report of semi trucks parking in residential neighborhoods and the response was almost immediate. Within days, the trucks had been tagged and removed. I reported about car that’s been parked in public street for months. Report but nothing happens my neighbors tell me the same thing. They report and nothing. It’s a total joke ### 1/5 — Constables are not doing their job *2024-10-04* I was told that there was only four constables for the entire valley by the constable’s office and that if you have a parking violation, they’ll get to it when they get to it. Our requests are acknowledged but not resolved. How is this not a priority? She was not interested in the problem. She only wanted my age my race and my phone number. After I told her there was a large cover missing in the intersection and very dangerous She asked me a bunch of questions, and then said, they don't take care of potholes. So she wasn't even listening to the problem. I told her about. I’m often amazed at how quickly a request for a street repair or a new traffic sign / light is addressed and completed. Much to the credit to those who administer / maintain this site / app , the field supervisors who research and evaluate project requests and the hard working staff who accomplish them . One improvement would be connect and do other things like with the post office to fix mail boxes, team up with police or neighborhood watch.
