Like Pokémon on the gameboy! But I found it difficult. Not being one to know all the details or process of brewing, left me a bit in the unknown. I tried to figure it out but it just left me wanting my money back because I couldn’t figure it out. But that’s just me. If you enjoy brewing and know the ins and outs, it would be a great game. ### 5/5 — Loved it *2019-07-20* It’s always nice to find games that are worth the full price and I’m happy to say Fiz is one of those games. The management aspects were great, very engaging and surprisingly replayable. Fun writing and characters kept me glued to the story. Great job on this. Just blown away by how much fun I had from this game. If you’re a fan of typical management simulators, you’ll probably like it. Affordable with hours of play, and no in app purchases. But there are a few issues I’d like to address: - I wish there was some way to skip the tutorial, it’s a small thing, but it gets annoying whenever you start a new game. On that same front, I wish there was a way to load an auto save from a day before or a few days before if you make a mistake. -one of the biggest issues I have is the way the sales and competitors beers work. First of all it doesn’t seem to make sense the way the budget and thirst indicators are laid out. I went through a whole game thinking I understood it only to read more forums and find out I was completely wrong. I feel like it would be much more intuitive to have budget be how much they would spend on each beer, and thirst be an indicator of how many beers they are going to buy. Also when it comes to selling your beers, even when I do it right, it doesn’t seem to work out. For example, I see that the beer of choice is fat and away an IPA based on 50 customers, I see that there are only 2 beers being sold and they are both lagers with an average quality of 400 and a markup of 3.0, since I can’t see the price of the other beers, I assume you have made the customers decision to buy based solely on quality, preference, and markup. I then sell my IPA with a quality of 500 and a markup of 2.0. The batch sells out fine, but under sales feedback, there are still people saying that they are choosing the competitors beer over mine even though it’s not their favorite style because the quality is that much better. NONE of these things are true, I am stocking their favorite style, with a higher quality, and a lower markup, it makes no sense. - also as far as markup and pricing go, when you get into brewing better more expensive beers to make, often you go to sell it and you can’t mark it up almost at all if you want to stay in the customers budget, not to mention that if you bring the markup up to wear competitors beers are they won’t sell and people complain that their too expensive. I wish that budget would go up accordingly as you progress in the game and brew more expensive beers I hope that all made sense, I haven’t actually complete the game due to frustration a few times, I know this game is a few years old, but I think it could be really good if a few of these issues could be fixed. Thanks! ### 4/5 — Replayability *2018-09-20, version 1.2* I gave this game a more harsh review st first, but now I’m changing it. After playing through a couple of times, I’ve come to really like the game. It has great potential. It is fun, requires a medium level of learning, and quick wits. It needs an update to fix a handful of issues that, because the player deals with them repeatedly, can make the game a little frustrating. It keeps you thinking, and you can play this game for hours! But the repetition can get a little old. First: This game needs a few speeds; at the very least a fast-forward button that is easier to get to than the options menu. The mini-game of tapping mice for money and scraps of recipes would be cool, except that after the first few batches you are spending your brewing time researching and comparing your different recipes with the markets that are opening up. Taking the chance in trying to tap ever-quicker mice in the hope you may get a partial recipe just isn’t worth it. The recipes aren’t even that good. Seems like there would be better incentive to chase mice if they gave great recipes, or if you couldn’t advance unless you found one of their recipes. You get no apparent marketing perks for winning taste tests. In fact, you produce no marketing affect at all. The option to put the brewed batches in storage is frustrating, and I found myself continually back-stepping in the menu, because there is only one way to put the batch from “temporary” storage to “real” storage. Why isn’t this automatic? Why isn’t this option on the batch’s info page, instead of just selling it or destroying it? You can’t start another batch until you manually put the batch into storage or sell it all. You are also interrupted every time a new batch is completed. Then you must start over with whatever you were doing. This needs to occur in the background or something. Maybe there needs to be an option to tell the workers to continue making the same batch continuously until the holding area is full, or until you tell them to stop? This may be too much for this app, but I would like to see more done with the recipes. I’d like to be able to make more myself, and maybe test them. Right now, the recipes are confusing, with items going in random places. It would be fun to try my hand at brewing and selling my own inventions. A lot of thought went into making this game. It needs clarification and/or a few things corrected, but even now it has a lot of fun, and you learn a lot about brewing recipes! ### 5/5 — Nicht nur für Bierliebhaber *2018-07-28* Tolle Wirtschaftssimulation mit zahllosen Möglichkeiten und gut gelungener Langzeitmotivation. Nicht zu leicht, allerdings wären auch ein paar zusätzliche Herausforderung oder Schwierigkeitsstufen nicht schlecht. Auch das Cloudsaving ist super, wenn man mehrere Geräte benutzt. Einziger Wunsch wäre noch eine Übersetzung, aber es lässt sich auch so gut spielen. ### 5/5 — iOS 11 support! Spent thousands hiring some of the better employees, spent all my money brewing beers a few times with my new crew until I noticed two of my new crew members had reverted to the original employees. I then noticed that all the markup prices were 3.3, which meant that I no longer had accurate numbers to decide my prices with, making it impossible to make money. Shortly after that, the one remaining member of new team reverted to the original staff member and then my money was -300. What a waste of time and money. Beware that this game can break like this at any point, ruining any progress you've made. Avoid. ### 1/5 — Worst game ever *2015-03-29* I was so exited to play the game but when I started playing it I realized the game went no where it was boring just to watch the people not do anything!!!!!! Don't waste your money on this stupid game. ### 1/5 — Worse game *2014-10-12, version 1.1.2* I bought this because it was recommended when I was on the Kairosoft games and saw a 'great; review on this page. Tried it, worse game ever. Characters just slide across the screen even though their feet are moving FORWARD. No variations whatsoever. Incredibly slow. Nothing that makes it enjoyable. You assign a beer to make and watch it happening every.single.time. they don't do anything else. Animations is off, they look like they're handing air and humping everytime when making beer. This is in no way should be recommended if you're a fan of kairosoft games.ever. So I then bought Adventure Bar Story, for the same price but offers so much more content and actually have fluid animations,controls and movements.
