### 3/5 — Too many shadow bans

*2026-08-09*

Fizz should immediately end its use of AI agents to shadow-ban posts or quietly throttle their engagement simply because the content does not match the platform’s preferred criteria, as this opaque practice replaces transparent moderation with unaccountable algorithmic viewpoint discrimination, erodes user trust, trains people to self-censor or leave once they notice their posts are being buried, and is especially poorly suited to judging context, satire, or campus discourse; instead, Fizz should publish clear rules, remove or clearly label only content that violates those rules with an appeals process, reserve AI for objective harms like spam, and let posts compete on their merits so the platform prioritizes open conversation over quiet control.

### 4/5 — Review

*2026-07-18, version 1.46.0*

This is a review. Fizz isn't perfect, but it's a great app.

### 3/5 — ماجتني تعلقيات

### 3/5 — Women aren’t safe

*2026-06-16, version 1.40.0*

There are too many instance on this where men are pretending to be women. Idk why they chose to do that but I hate that they can get away with it and it makes me feel pretty unsafe.

### 4/5 — Mostly good, poll issues

*2026-06-05, version 1.38.0*

Great app, for the most part good. It was a huge downgrade when they started making it so you can’t see how many people voted for each option in a poll, only the percentages. Which they showed before.

It would also be nice if you could change your vote in a poll or unvote if you accidentally click the wrong thing. But I get why they don’t have that feature—to make the results as accurate/unedited as possible.

### 4/5 — Fizz

*2026-05-30, version 1.37.1*

People make or break this app I see the worst and best of people. I just like how people can be themselves on this app.

### 2/5 — Fun for school socials, but moderation and fairness issues

*2026-05-30, version 1.37.1*

Fizz is genuinely fun for the social side of school life – connecting with friends, seeing what’s happening on campus, and the overall vibe can be pretty engaging. The upvote system works well in theory and helps surface popular content.
However, the moderation feels heavily biased. Posts that lean one political direction (especially conservative viewpoints) often get removed quickly for “violating community guidelines,” while similar content from the other side stays up. It doesn’t come across as neutral or consistent. On top of that, certain posts seem to get artificially boosted while others with similar engagement sit completely idle. For an app that positions itself as a campus community space, this lack of fairness and free speech really hurts the experience.
Would love to see more transparent, even-handed moderation so it can actually live up to its potential. Right now, the bias holds it back.

### 5/5 — I be fizzing it

*2026-05-29, version 1.37.1*

### 5/5 — This is a great app!

### 2/5 — APP ISNT ON ANDRIODS

*2026-05-21, version 1.37.0*

please put the app on Samsung and google phones

### 2/5 — Issue signing up

*2026-05-18, version 1.36.1*

I tried to make an account but it kept looping the same questions from the beginning after I try to answer my interests sending me back to authenticating my birthday would love if this was fixed so I can properly check out the app

### 3/5 — fun, but succumbs to karma farming and rules aren’t inforced very well

*2026-05-18*

ita a fun way to hear what is happening and what people think on campus, and to help answer questions and sometimes get feedback.
worst part is there is an overwhelming abundance of fake posts. like, theres memes, and then there is just blantly lying to farm karma, and mods cannot do anything about it because it is not a rule.
people will post fake pregnancy tests, AI text message images, and things stolen from facebook or reddit and claim its real. it waters down the authenticity of the app, so maybe only 20-30% of the posts are actually substantive or legitimate scenarios.
-there is no functional search function and it either says ‘no posts exists with that word’ or gives seemingly random ones that dont match the search criteria at all.
-there no limitation on people making bot accounts and its not uncommon to see the same couple posts verbatim every couple weeks.
-there is seemingly no limit on people who just farm the hell out of karma. its incredibly obvious in my school that 70-80% of the posts are all made by the same person, but mods cant do anything about it.
-unfortunately posts that are mean or slander are not always removed, especially if they have more 100 upvotes or have been around for a couple hours.
there have been several circumstances of people just being rumored to hell or called out for things that never happened, and its a shame it cant be stopped other mods wont agree to remove it because the upvotes and lifetime of the post cause bystander effect.

### 3/5 — Cool, but annoying bugs

*2026-05-12, version 1.35.0*

The “error loading replies” bug has been haunting ever since downloading. Along with the infinite loading screen when posting sometimes. Other than that, pretty cool app.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Worst app ever

*2026-07-30, version 1.48.0*

Worst app ever such a waste of time

### 1/5 — L

*2026-07-20, version 1.47.0*

Search feature straight up doesn’t work

### 1/5 — Poorly designed

*2026-06-27, version 1.42.1*

Terrible user interface.

### 1/5 — Can’t edit profile picture or username

*2026-06-22, version 1.42.0*

I was able to change the profile picture and username but now I’m unable to. There use to be a little edit button when you’re switching profiles but now there isn’t and I’m stuck with a picture and username that I don’t want anymore. Please fix this and bring it back!!! I beg

### 1/5 — Promotes Harassment

*2026-06-17, version 1.41.0*

This app has been active on our campus for around a year, and when it first came, people were “exposing” people. Where most of the things said were not true. I know this, because we are an extremely small campus. It has continued to lead to instances where people feel protected to say whatever they want, no matter if it causes harm because they won’t see any consequences. They wouldn’t say anything in person, but since they feel comfortable saying things behind a screen, they don’t stop. The moderation also sucks.

### 1/5 — Bugs and AI spam

*2026-05-22, version 1.37.0*

Like 60% of the posts on there are mod generated posts and they’re all very similar (something about sex, relationships, etc).

Also the fact you can type out a whole post then lightly pull down the top and it just deletes all of it is super annoying and a big reason why I’m never contributing to this app again and deleting it now.

### 1/5 — Nah

*2026-05-09, version 1.34.0*

There’s better campus software out there tbh

### 1/5 — Encourages Harassment

*2026-05-08, version 1.34.0*

People can use it to harass other people by name dropping or using any other identifiable information

### 1/5 — Is this real?

*2026-05-06, version 1.33.1*

Is this a real app? I see so much content with like 400 upvotes and not a single comment? And everything is some disgustingly sexual anonymous post? What a horrible app.

### 1/5 — Restricts brilliance

*2026-05-04, version 1.33.1*

You can say anything disparaging on this app, even promote suicide, but you cannot speak truth. You will be monetized and restricted. Your account will be targeted with discriminatory views.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Love it but some issues

*2026-07-26, version 1.48.0*

They keep changing things with being less and less anonymous and basically making the texting like on Instagram. Please!!! Don’t try to be other social medias, stick with the way you are and what makes fizz unique and the best! If they ever get short form content I’ll delete it and slander it

### 5/5 — Anon

*2026-07-19, version 1.46.0*

Please make a activity status on and off button

### 5/5 — I…don’t want to talk about this

*2026-06-25, version 1.42.1*

It’s just sexual harrasment the online platform. Sometimes there’s comedy gold, but the rest isn’t too useful. Unless you’re weird like me and like watching people be idiots on the internet.

### 5/5 — 4chan for campus

*2026-06-17, version 1.41.0*

Hilarious

### 5/5 — Moderately buggy and terrible customer support

*2026-06-06*

Fizz needs some debugging. Sometimes after I make a post, the post has already been submitted, but the UI continues showing the loading circle as if it’s still being uploaded. I’ve even received a Fizz Up on a post while the loading indicator was still displayed, which means the post was already live despite the app suggesting otherwise. Customer support also hasn’t been particularly helpful when dealing with issues.

### 5/5 — Accidentally submitted an image

*2026-06-04, version 1.38.0*

I accidentally submitted an image verification that was an inappropriate meme instead of my college acceptance letter and I’m afraid of people from the college will see it, along with my personal information, and there was absolutely no way for me to withdraw the image and I cannot even delete my account (as it’s new; there is no deactivation either)

### 5/5 — Come join the mystery team

*2026-06-02, version 1.38.0*

Say whatever I want and nb knows it’s me

### 5/5 — amazing app!!

*2026-05-30, version 1.37.1*

very fun way to communicate and connect on campus!

### 5/5 — I love Fizz

*2026-05-30, version 1.37.1*

### 5/5 — Fizz

*2026-05-29, version 1.37.1*
