## What is Fjord Mobile?

Fjord is a fast, native client for Forgejo, the self-hosted Git forge. It
brings the workflow you rely on in the browser to iPhone and iPad.

WHAT YOU CAN DO
- Triage your notification inbox and mark threads read.
- Browse, filter, search, and sort issues across your repositories, with the
same Type and Sort controls as the Forgejo dashboard.
- Review pull requests: read the conversation and timeline, see the diffstat
and changed files, check CI status, and merge.
- Track milestones across every repository in one place.
- Explore repositories, users, and organizations, and read code and releases.
- Comment, react, label, assign, and manage reviewers.

- Sign in with your Fjord Account, then choose the Forgejo instance to browse.
- Once signed in, you can also connect external forges with a personal access
token; those tokens are stored only in the device Keychain.

No tracking, no analytics, no ads.

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.0.4 — 2026-08-01

Sign in to any Forgejo server.

You no longer need a Fjord Account to use Fjord Mobile. Point the app at your own Forgejo instance and sign in with a personal access token, and everything except push notifications works against your server.

Also in this version:

- Fjord adapts to your server's version, so older instances hide the features they cannot do instead of failing on them.
- The Fjord Account screens now explain what an account actually adds, instead of reading as though you are signed out.
- Merging a pull request no longer reports a permission error when the merge succeeded.
- Signing in again after a long time offline, or after your session rotates, restores your identity without a restart.

### 1.0.3 — 2026-07-22

We've been hard at work making Fjord feel even faster, smoother, and more dependable.

- A more seamless sign-in that keeps you effortlessly connected to your servers.
- A quick, responsive launch that gets you straight to your code, issues, and CI.
- Refined background updates and account switching, for an experience that just flows.
- Performance improvements and polish throughout the app.

Thank you for being part of the Fjord community. We love building this for you, and your feedback shapes where we go next.

### 1.0.2 — 2026-07-20
