The touchscreen is almost impossible on my phone. Other than that, does the job for what you need regarding youth flag playbooks ### 4/5 — Best investment *2020-06-17* This app is most definitely worth buying. I coach a youth flag football team and the app provides an easy and reliable way to draw up plays for the kids. As a coach it has made my job easier when it comes to flipping through plays while in the huddle. I no longer have a bunch of papers that I have to flip through and waste time searching for what play I want. It is easy for the kids to follow and understand with the use of different colors. There are a few things that can be fixed, but overall this app has definitely transformed the game for myself and my team! **Developer response:** Thank you CoachVic! Love the easy to use play editor and the ability to change shapes, i.e. the kid getting the ball is the star shape on the play. The export to pdf feature is so key and allows up to 9 plays on one page for in game play calling. I haven’t used the print to wristband yet but I’m sure that’s great as well. One of my only criticisms is that when you go to edit a route you have to click the circle representing the player- however it’s near impossible to do this without moving the circle. Sort if a minor complaint but I end up routinely relocating my dots. Overall though an awesome app with great support. **Developer response:** Thanks coach. Happy to hear that you like the app! Thanks for the feedback on selecting a position icon. ### 4/5 — Great app, worth the money. *2020-01-06* I use the app for 5v5 flag football. It is easy to use and draw up plays within minutes. I will see something during a game on tv, and create a play similar for our team. Although, I have a couple of recommendations. I began using this at the beginning of the season. I am not sure if I am navigating properly, so please assist if I am not. 1. When in the view mode of the play, it would be nice to swipe through the plays right or left. 2. When in the Playbook mode, it would be nice to color coordinate the plays. This would help while scrolling quickly to identify specific plays (ie. goal line, long yardage, trick plays). 3. Also, when in Playbook mode, it would be nice to not be able to edit the plays by removing the “i”. Sometimes when scrolling through, I like to go fast however I accidentally hit the “i” and have to cancel out of it. Maybe place the “i” in the play on the top taskbar, once it is opened? There are two buttons which move you back to the playbook, maybe one can be replaced by the “i”. The app is great and thanks for putting it together. I am trying to organize plays to have them in order and it will not allow me. It wanted me to go to playmaker x and then pay for the subscription so if you’re wanting more customization my thoughts are paying for the pro here is a moot point and you should just pay for the subscription on playmaker x. I LOVE it’s simplicity and print options for different size wristbands. I ended up not being able to get the app on my new phone as it would not restore the purchase and was so afraid of loosing my playbooks I never upgrade my ipad…I know, dumb right, but the best part of this app was shown through its support. Jeremy helped troubleshoot this with me and BOOM, it works on my phone and I can finally change some plays around so other teams stop memorizing our plays LOL If you are looking for an amazing app to build plays for offence and defence I highly HIGHLY recommend this app. WELL worth the money. ### 5/5 — Great app, easy to use *2023-03-31* This is a great app, it’s going to be the second year I use it, and it makes my life much easier to coach the kids. One feature I’d like to see added, I’d like to be able to move the line of scrimmage up and down when creating an offensive play. When I stack 3 running backs behind the QB there isn’t enough room to put them there. I started the season printing the plays out but by the second game felt pulling plays up on my phone in the game was much easier. I really like how you can create different categories to group plays.
