I use it to chat with my friends and family abroad and the translations are seamless and high quality. Even better than Google translate. Incredible stuff. ### 5/5 — Why can’t WhatsApp do this? *2025-02-22* Whatsapp requires me to copy/paste to google translate. This app has automatic, seamless translations. It’s incredible this small company is able to do this. ### 5/5 — Application très pratique *2025-01-07, version 0.1.1.122* J’ai beaucoup utilisé Flaichat pendant les fêtes, principalement pour discuter avec mes beaux-parents allemands. C’est très fluide ! ### 5/5 — Simple to use and helpful app *2025-01-07* Great app where I can translate all my convos with my family! Very intuitive and easy to use interface ### 5/5 — Great app *2025-01-06, version 0.1.1.122* FlaiChat has completely transformed how I connect with people worldwide. The instant translation feature is incredibly accurate and makes chatting in different languages effortless. The user-friendly interface and seamless connection with friends from different cultures make it stand out. It's perfect for travelers, language learners, or anyone looking to expand their network globally. Highly recommended for anyone who values communication without barriers! ### 5/5 — Breaking Language Barriers Effortlessly! *2025-01-04, version 0.1.1.122* This app is a game-changer! I can chat with people from around the world without worrying about language differences. The translations are quick and accurate, making conversations feel natural. It’s like having a universal translator in my pocket! ### 5/5 — Perfect for Global Connections! *2024-12-30* I love this app! It's amazing for chatting with my friends from different countries. The translation feature works seamlessly, making conversations so easy and fun. Highly recommend for anyone with friends worldwide! ### 5/5 — The voice thing is so cool *2024-12-20* I don’t speak a lick of French, but my Euro relatives can hear my voice speak actual French. **Developer response:** We're so glad you're enjoying our app. This is the kind of feedback that gives us the push to continue building on the idea. If you have any comments of feedback, don't hesitate to contact us at support@flai.chat. Thanks The FlaiChat team ### 5/5 — ¡Una app in imprescindible! *2024-12-19, version 0.1.121* FlaiChat es increíble! La traducción automática y la opción de clonar tu voz son más. Súper fácil de usar y ideal para estar conectado con familia y amigos. ¡Recomendadísimo! ### 5/5 — perfect for seamless translations *2024-09-12, version 0.1.108* I’ve been using FlaiChat to communicate with my abroad friends from many different countries and it works brilliantly even translating jokes properly ! ### 5/5 — This is the app that will replace WhatsApp *2024-09-03* There are so many interesting things in this chat app. Like the other reviewers, I also love the automatic translations (so many different languages speakers where I live). But there are other amazing features too. OnTheFlai is such a fun feature. We use it in our friends gc to just have a weekly touch point, no matter how busy our lives get. My partner and I also use the tasks and reminders feature a lot to remind each other about daily chores and stuff. Can’t believe WhatsApp or other chat apps haven’t built such basic features yet. ### 5/5 — Automatic translation is amazing! *2024-08-30* This app is a game changer for my family. We are a multilingual family and having them all in one group sharing our days and pictures is the best. My mom speaks Spanish and I always needed to translate for her but not anymore she is enjoying talking to my English speaking family by herself using her FlaiChat. It's a blessing. Thank you FlaiChat! **Developer response:** Glad to hear you and your family are enjoying FlaiChat. We are continuing to make improvements to sharing photos, so keep a look out for those. We recommend you check out the On The Flai feature as well! ### 5/5 — I can finally talk to my extended family *2024-08-30* FlaiChat is how I finally got to have real conversations with my family members who don’t speak English. Before then, we would wish each other happy holidays or birthdays. Now, we get to keep in touch every day, thanks to Automatic Translations. ### 5/5 — The translation feature is amazing! *2024-08-10* Automatic translation of texts is the best! My family can now communicate with the older generations. My only feedback is the UI can use some improvement. The functionality is better than the UI but would love if it were crisp, simple, and comforting. **Developer response:** Thank you very much for your kind words and the feedback. Our team is working very hard to improve both the functionality and the UI of the app every single day. We're a small, non-venture funded team and can use all the support and word of mouth we can get. Please tell others about our app and encourage them to discover our unique features not available in any other chat app. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 3/5 — Most recent update broke photos *2026-02-04, version 0.1.161* Most recently update broke photo sharing/saving. “Share” button does nothing now. ### 4/5 — Helpful chat! *2024-08-02* Love the location ping ability, and the translation feature is good for talking to international relatives! Has some technical issues, like the unread messages banner not going away, but otherwise a good communication app. **Developer response:** Thanks a lot for your kind words and the feedback about technical issues. Please contact support@flai.chat with details about your issue for direct help from our support team. ### 5/5 — Holy moly *2026-09-01* The app works as great as you’d want it to. So far, there doesn’t seem to be a limit for simply chatting. The translation is quite accurate, aside from what you’d expect for things such as slang and acronyms (Though it does capture a fair, if not a good, amount of slang.) Very nice app tbh ngl ong lol ### 5/5 — ¡Una app in imprescindible! The FlaiChat Team ### 5/5 — One of a kind *2026-04-23* No other chat app allows me to talk to my multilingual, multinational family like this one. Instant translations for both text and voice messages **Developer response:** Thanks a lot for your kind words. Please don't hesitate to contact us at support@flai.chat if you have any feedback or suggestions for improvement. We read every email. ### 5/5 — Great for communicating internationally *2026-03-29, version 0.1.166* I love how it auto translates! This app has allowed me to maintain a friendship with a game friend that would have otherwise fizzled out for sure. ### 5/5 — Es muy buena aplicación *2026-01-03* Se pueden escuchar los audios en otro idioma y eso es perfecto ### 5/5 — Very dedicated staff! *2025-11-20* I recently experienced a bug issue that caused me some problems accessing my app and old chat. I reached out to the flai chat staff who very quickly assisted me. They even went above and beyond normal hours to assess the issues I was having and to help me! They are very communicative and capable and the app is really awesome for translating chat into another language! Awesome!! Highly recommend! 👍🏻☺️ **Developer response:** Thank you so much for your kind words. We're glad you're enjoying the app. We deeply regret the issue you experienced and we'll try our hardest to make sure that such a problem does not repeat itself. ### 5/5 — La mejor aplicación! *2025-05-02* No puedo creer que ya puedo finalmente hablar con mi yerno. Es increíble este aplicación y espero que pronto todos podamos comunicarnos sin límites de idioma. **Developer response:** Muchas gracias por sus elogios a la aplicación. Nos encanta que les ayude a comunicarse con su familia. Si tienen alguna sugerencia o pregunta, contáctenos directamente en support@flai.chat. ### 5/5 — Best chatting app out there *2025-03-18* I chat a lot with my family and friends and when i heard about this app and tried it, i was stunned that such an app actually exists. It makes translations very smooth and simple, i need not to copy and paste it to some other translator. Best chatting app i used till date. Kudos to Developers! ## Most praised reviews (2 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Game changing app! *2025-03-18* FlaiChat just works. Translated chat is fast, natural, and makes my international family feel closer. I feel like it's the first time I'm really communicating with my in-laws! ### 5/5 — Why can’t WhatsApp do this? *2025-03-05, version 0.1.127* Whatsapp requires me to copy/paste to google translate. This app has automatic translations, like totally automatic. No setup. No copy/paste. No language packs downloads. It just detected my girlfriend’s phone language and automatically started translating my messages into her language. Just works. --- *Data collected daily from the US App Store and indexed by [AppsHunter](https://appshunter.io/). User reviews are verbatim App Store reviews.
