### 2/5 — No saved info

*2026-07-29, version 1.0.8*

You have to keep putting your reference number and name in every time you open the app, it doesn’t save your trip information. Just use the email.

### 1/5 — Do not fly flair

*2026-06-09, version 1.0.7*

I chose flair for the first time because it was a few dollars cheaper. I will never fly again. Worst customer service, all telephone and desk agents were 3rd party contractors and refused my medical request to sit next to my ailing wife without being forced to pay the additional $50 each. If booking as a group you MUST pay the seat change fee for all members otherwise the system will “randomly” assign you seats not next to one another on the flight. The total cost of trip ended up being significantly more than the similar flights porter and west jet that will not separate your party even if you choose not to pay the seat selection fee.

### 1/5 — New level of horrendous service

*2026-05-22, version 1.0.6*

Just like the website, mostly broken. Forget trying to book a family in. There are so many low cost airlines in the world that actually provide a base level of service, it’s hard to believe how terrible Flair is on all fronts.

### 1/5 — Nope

*2026-05-13, version 1.0.6*

Great way to get lots of spam, but functionally very broken. Using the site is easier and has more functionality.

### 1/5 — Don’t

*2026-05-07, version 1.0.6*

It’s amateur company

### 1/5 — Increase the price once you entered Credit card

*2026-05-03, version 1.0.6*

Be really careful if you book flight. The app will add money at the last step. Even you didn't add luggage it will add for you for every passenger at the last step.

### 1/5 — Worst Experience

*2026-04-27, version 1.0.4*

I booked my flight through the app. Even though I had unselected the carry on bags option it selected for me and I was charged for it unfairly. Customer service was unwilling to give me refund for it.

### 1/5 — Unreliable, and you will be billed for their unreliability

*2026-04-13, version 1.0.4*

Tried to check-in for my flight only to be told “something” went wrong and I would have to check-in at the airport. At the airport I was told I needed to pay $35 to check-in in person, despite the fact that their online check-in was broken. They send you a link to add boarding pass to your phone wallet, but that doesn’t work either. Much as I want competition in the industry, I just can’t trust this airline any more.

### 1/5 — Horrible app and company

*2026-04-03, version 1.0.3*

App is glitchy link to accessibility does not work link says site doesn’t exist. Call center staff poorly trained objective to get you off the phone and back to app which doesn’t work. No knowledge of accessibility rules in North America. Call center admitted are not in Canada or USA
License should be suspended until prove they can operate properly when try to escalate to a supervisor say supervisor will call you back in 24-72 hours .

### 2/5 — Not helpful after you’ve booked

*2026-03-10, version 1.0.3*

We booked our vacation online and downloaded the app, hoping we would log in with reservation number and then get flight status and reminders for our trip. Nope. It’s just an app based way to book a trip.

### 1/5 — Inconvenient application

*2026-02-09, version 1.0.3*

Not all options listed on the website are available in the program. For example, unlike Air Transat, you can't add a booking reference number to receive notifications.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Worst airline

*2026-08-08, version 1.0.9*

Had a 6 hour delay and didn’t even have any internet on the plain

### 1/5 — Worst Airline Experience – Disappointing Customer Service and No Accountability

*2026-08-07, version 1.0.9*

My experience with Flair Airlines on our flight was extremely disappointing.

When booking our flight, we tried to reserve adjacent seats, but because the flight was full, we were unable to do so. Before boarding, we informed the airline that I am a senior with diabetes and high blood pressure, and requested adjacent seating so my wife could assist me during the flight if needed.

A fellow passenger kindly volunteered to switch seats with us, and we had already exchanged seats. However, cabin crew members Irene and Vishwa approached us in a rude and aggressive manner. Instead of showing empathy or understanding of my medical condition, they publicly embarrassed my wife, threatened to remove her from the aircraft, and forced her to return to her original seat.

The entire incident caused me significant stress and negatively affected my health. It was humiliating and completely unnecessary, especially when another passenger had willingly agreed to the seat exchange.

I submitted a detailed complaint expecting a thorough investigation and a professional response. Instead, after waiting 30 days, Flair Airlines sent what appeared to be a generic template response stating they would conduct an "internal review." There was no transparency, no accountability, and no indication that any meaningful action had been taken.

Making a customer wait an entire month only to receive a vague response is not good customer service—it feels like damage control. Saying that a complaint will be "reviewed internally" without sharing the outcome gives customers no confidence that their concerns were genuinely investigated.

The way the cabin crew handled a passenger with a medical condition showed a troubling lack of compassion, professionalism, and basic human empathy. Rather than feeling supported, we felt ignored, disrespected, and humiliated.

This experience has seriously damaged my trust in Flair Airlines. Passengers deserve better, especially when raising serious concerns about the conduct of cabin crew. An airline's true character is revealed not when everything goes smoothly, but by how it treats passengers who need understanding and compassion.

I would not recommend Flair Airlines based on this experience.

### 1/5 — Refund never received

*2026-08-07, version 1.0.9*

I am extremely disappointed with how Flair Airlines has handled my case.

More than a month ago, I requested a refund and was told that it had been approved. Flair even sent me documentation confirming the refund and charged me a $300 cancellation/refund fee. However, I never received the money. When I contacted customer service again, I was told that no refund had ever been processed, despite the receipts and PDF documents I have as proof.

I also had a serious issue with my checked baggage on May 24. I checked a 23 kg suitcase, and when I received it, there were clear signs that it had been opened. Several valuable items were missing, including a gold ring and other jewelry worth approximately $8,000 CAD.

The lack of accountability, poor communication, and contradictory information from Flair Airlines have made this experience extremely stressful. I expect Flair to investigate both the missing refund and the stolen items from my baggage and provide a fair resolution.

### 1/5 — Worst airline ever

*2026-08-04, version 1.0.9*

Do not go with Flair. Their baggage delay protection with Blue Ribbon Bags is a scam. They lost my luggage and wouldn’t pay me for the delayed bag fee.

### 1/5 — App crash causing extra charges

*2026-08-03, version 1.0.8*

App crashed while changing seats and adding checked luggage. Wouldn’t let me edit. At the airport flair charged us more for seats changes and checked luggage. Don’t fly with them they are useless and greedy with an unusable app. The supervisor was especially rude.

### 1/5 — Verification Process for Credit Card

*2026-07-25, version 1.0.8*

Absolutely Brutal. Tried 3 times until it worked. Absolutely crazy that you put people through this.

### 1/5 — Useless App, Useless Airline

*2026-07-25, version 1.0.8*

Cannot check into my flight because the system doesn’t know how to manage an apostrophe. Downloaded the app and it was no help, called the helpline and all it is was various unhelpful automated messages. Would not recommend. You you are at the point of trying to download the app to sort out an issue, don’t bother

### 1/5 — Only allowed to be born June 26,2014

*2026-06-18, version 1.0.7*

The update I installed today made the app useless at booking flights as you can’t change the birthday without it automatically changing back to the weird DOB that’s preset

### 1/5 — Spam app

*2026-06-17, version 1.0.7*

This app will constantly spam you with junk ads. After my trip I will be deleting this terrible app.

### 1/5 — Worst service

*2026-06-10, version 1.0.7*

This is one of the worst airlines that you will find in canada. If you tried to talk to customer representative they will take to much time to respond and incase if you cancelled your flight they will never give money back instead they will say, you can use your leftover money as a credit to book new flight .If you try to reschedule your flight be ready to pay same price as you paid initially in booking. So worst I find.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Roomy and punctual

*2026-07-23, version 1.0.8*

I’ve found that flair airlines typically have more leg room than the other airlines and I have never had any issues with delayed flights, I fly quite often and have been using various airlines and this company is the only one that I’ve never had a delay on. Not to mention they are the best priced airline in my opinion.

### 5/5 — My Favourite Airline 🤍🌟

*2026-07-14, version 1.0.8*

I know I can always count on Flair as my only and best option, always the great prices and options.

### 5/5 — Easy to use

*2026-06-22, version 1.0.7*

Such an easy to use app, seamless booking process and the colors and design are pretty minimalist. It doesn’t feel like I’m being pushed to buy anything which I appreciate, and it’s not like Air Canada where the pages are so clustered with overwhelming information.

### 5/5 — Great flight

*2026-06-18, version 1.0.7*

I am satisfied with Flair Airlines

### 5/5 — Flair is my Go 2

*2026-06-18, version 1.0.7*

Fly between YYC and YVR for work. Flair staff are friendly and professional. Their pilots and equipment are always top notch. Thanks for all of your hard work keeping Canadians mobile!!

### 5/5 — Best Experience

*2026-06-17, version 1.0.7*

I’m flying to Toronto to see my Grandparents, and I’m staying there for 2 months, and I would, fly flair again

### 5/5 — Gtdrvj

*2026-05-02, version 1.0.6*

Flair has the absolute WORST booking software I have seen. I was manager of a medium sized group of excellent Technicians and Engineers. NOBODY could make head nor tails of your horrid Booking App. Please fire the nine year old who wrote it and hire a profesional.

### 5/5 — great booking experience

*2026-01-28, version 1.0.2*

What a great app. I think the way the app flows makes the ancillary pages feel less aggressive

### 3/5 — Meh..

*2026-07-18, version 1.0.8*

Literally just the same user experience as using their website. Many reviews are based on the actual airline as opposed to this app. The experience on this app is exactly the same as their website. Basically cut and paste from the website. Need to log in to my trips every time which negates the use of this app. Air Canada’s app is a much more user friendly experience. They should really use the Air Canada app as a reference on how to build their own app.

### 2/5 — Small print

*2026-08-07, version 1.0.9*

When I booked my ticket on flair, I didn’t realize because I couldn’t see the size of the text that it was an a.m. flight at 12:55 AM and not a p.m. flight. I thought I was flying in the afternoon. I contacted flair and they gave me the big long story I’d have to pay full price Lous, my feet selection and even though I prepaid for baggies, I couldn’t even get a baggage refund flair is the worst airline to try to get any kind of service. It should be called customer no service airline.
