Do I need experience to teach? No, you don't. It would be great if you do, but it's fine to begin teaching without any experience. However reviews about your teaching are written by your learners. Q. Why do I have to send Flamingo a residence card? To check your work permit and identification for security and reliability. Please take a picture of the front and back of your residence card. All we want to check is your name, face photo, birth date, address including city name and district name, and work permit, so you can blur the others if you don't want to show them. If you are Japanese, it's fine to upload something you can prove yourself (ex. driver's license). Q. How do I get remuneration and how much will Flamingo get the fee? Flamingo uses PayPal, so make sure that you have to have a PayPal account when you want to withdraw remuneration. Once you teach a lesson, you get remuneration from the learner as Flamingo points at a rate of 1 point = 1 JPY. When you want to transfer money to your Paypal please send us a transfer request from the Flamingo point menu in the app. "Find a language teacher" You can use your spare time to learn a second language through Flamingo. We have users from all over the world from as little as 1000 yen per lesson.
