None of the equipment is working correctly. So many good intentions with this new version only to turn out to be completely unworkable. Can you do us a favor and simply communicate with us about if the fix is happening? I will wait for it if you just say you are trying to fix it. No news for this long really doesn’t instill confidence that it will ever be fixed. Hoping for a good outcome! ### 2/5 — YES, PLEASE BRING BACK EARLIER VERSION 🙏 *2023-11-15* Before this upgrade, it was super easy to program the lightshow buttons (1-9). Sometimes they didn't save, and had to redo them but the interface still was perfect for on the go programming with a phone instead of having to use soundswitch and a laptop. The app was really useful for just the basic lighting presets which is what we need the most. I love the option in the current version to program Fade, Pulse, Strobe, Flicker, Rainbow, Paparazzi, and especially Pairs, but the actual Playback section is terrible for a live situation where you want to just be able to turn on, turn off, switch to different programs, etc. It would also be cool to have more than 9 program buttons to press & all in one screen without having to scroll down while having to dj at the same time. Please FlareCON, help us out! 🙏🙏🙏🙏💓💓💓💓 ### 1/5 — Bad call…..this app is not it! *2023-10-24, version 3.0.2* This app is trash. I’m sorry but chauvet missed the mark with this one. Done a wedding this past weekend and had my par up lights ata steady color. When the dancing part came, I pushed the play button for another show I created and they all went dark! Not reliable at all! And it seems that EVERYONE is having issues and they are not doing any updates to correct issues. Your fixtures work better on stand alone than using this app! ### 1/5 — Bring back 2.0 *2023-10-19, version 3.0.2* Any update on when you will be re-releasing the “flareCON 1” app? My Flarecon device is essentially a brick, now. Thanks to 3.0, I no longer have a working Flarecon device. Worst case scenario was finding this out right before a gig. I’ve used this app multiple times with the flarecon system and it has PLUMMETED in consistency and reliability since 2018. The old version would take me 10-15 minutes to be done with the up lights. No response from Chauvet tech support either. I hope to God that before someone downloads the update they by some good fortune read these reviews and it stops them from updating. But now I'm not even able to use it at all. Have a client who wanted to give the exterior of a historic home a warm changing color slow uplighting fade at the front facade of home for a fundraising dinner inside. Was able to set scene colors, duration time and transition time (all up to 59.9 seconds for duration and transition time) and this app made this SO MUCH EASIER!!!!!! No need to hardware connect DMX controller to the wireless access point for scene option. Just set the scene on iPhone, set out my battery powered Freedom Par Tri 6 units (18 of them), plug the access point in and BAM!!!! Totally Wireless Control with iPhone and dramatic scene with ultra smooth color transition. Set it and forget it!
