### 3/5 — About the flash cards!

*2026-05-21, version 2.4.2.49*

Quite slow when typing long flash card answers

### 2/5 — Why?

*2026-03-02, version 2.4.2.47*

Why do apps try so hard to get you to pay before you know the app has the functions you want. Sigh. I made six decks and zero actual flash the first time I opened this open. Was asked three times to review it and twice to upgrade. So here’s my review.

I suggest you make it easy and clear how to do the basic task it’s suppose to do before getting me to pay.

### 2/5 — Template

*2026-02-08, version 2.4.2.45*

The app needs standard templates for addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and fraction presets.

### 1/5 — deleted

*2026-01-14, version 2.4.2.43*

if you move a folder into another folder it doesn’t let you access any flashcards that were in the deck again. i spent hours making flashcards for my exams that are in less than a week and they were all just deleted

### 1/5 — Can’t do anything!

*2026-01-05, version 2.4.2.41*

You have to pay to do anything actually useful with this app. It’s not expensive, but it’s cheap, greedy, and lazy on the developers part

### 2/5 — Print TOO small!!!

*2025-12-12, version 2.4.2.40*

I would like to use it when waiting for things and that means i usually dont have my glasses w me. The print is too small & doesnt adjust like othr apps which is disappointing 😩. It wont even enlarge when the phone is sideways. Teeny print and LOTS of empty space.
I like the fact that it is simple & no crazy bells & whistles which is why im gonna stick w it.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2025-11-12, version 2.4.2.37*

Tried to create one card, wrote the infos on it but nothing is showing when trying to review it. When you click on edit the infos are indeed showing on the card… just disappointing. Especially for an app that’s not free

### 2/5 — Everything’s behind a paywall

*2025-11-06, version 2.4.2.36*

It’s a decent app, but the people behind it are too money hungry. You literally have to pay for features like shuffling and jumping ahead your cards in decks. This app would’ve been so much better if the creator wasn’t so focused on money.

### 1/5 — Scammy paywall

*2025-10-17, version 2.4.2.34*

Has that paywall u see on scam apps, find a different one

### 5/5 — AMAZINGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG

*2025-10-09, version 2.4.2.33*

This is like the only FREE flashcard app but what I don’t understand is why make a flash card app cost money? LIKE WHAT??? Like you can like make other thing in the flash card all cost money for example to like make it have a cute background, or let it read out loud to you and stuff like that idk but just get this app it amazing

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Updated or something

*2026-07-14, version 2.4.2.49*

For some reason this app updated and erased 2 years of flash cards I had built up. The new look is just completely awful. So many random pop ups. I’d give it a Zero if I could

### 1/5 — Has Scareware advertisement

*2026-06-07, version 2.4.2.49*

Seems like it was going to be a decent app but then my first ad was scareware “Your account has been hacked…”. Norma ads I can deal with but this kind of content isn’t tolerable for me.

### 1/5 — Suspicious

*2026-05-21, version 2.4.2.49*

Just got a your account has been restricted because it has been hacked due to watching adult websites blah blah blah. Removing this app from my phone. It doesn’t feel safe

### 1/5 — Cash grab

*2026-04-27, version 2.4.2.49*

You literally have to pay for EVERYTHING

### 1/5 — Not good

*2026-03-31, version 2.4.2.47*

Not a very good program at all I have to type most things in because it won’t scan it right or copy it right

### 1/5 — Horrible Design, Hard to Use

*2026-03-27, version 2.4.2.47*

Get any other flash cards app. Stay away.

### 1/5 — DO NOT USE THIS APP

*2026-03-10, version 2.4.2.47*

Trust me it’s a big waste of time. I made a huge chemistry definitions flash card set of 90 cards and they just disappeared not deleted just gone out of the blue. Other people also had this issue I have the yearly subscription trust me just find another app and save yourself the time to remake it. Worst app I’ve ever used.

### 1/5 — Glitchy

*2026-02-15, version 2.4.2.45*

App sucks it’s glitching out too much to use

### 1/5 — absolutely terrible

*2026-02-07, version 2.4.2.45*

ads every 3 seconds, anything actually helpful behind an insane pay wall, theres better options that are completely free this is js a slop app trying to profit off of students attempting to learn 0/5 if i could

### 1/5 — App loses cards

*2026-01-15, version 2.4.2.43*

I just subscribed to the app to make unlimited flash cards. I’m using my iPhone and my MacBook Pro m4 to make cards. The app started to lose cards. The number of cards in a deck starts to decrease on my MacBook without any interaction. When it hits zero the deck is erased from my phone and MacBook. Costing me all the time I spent sifting through information to make those cards. :(

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great learning tool

*2026-06-27, version 2.4.2.49*

Its flash cards are everything I hoped for and more!!

### 5/5 — Digital Flashcards

*2026-06-04*

It’s legitimately just digital flashcards. A lot of the other apps are trying to create a whole learning ecosystem and force you into using their notes system. That approach might work for a lot of people but some people just legit want digital flashcards and they got the rest of their learning ecosystem on lock. I also like that there is a one time lifetime subscription. Being forced to pay perpetually is a bit much. Maybe if it was $1 per year it would make sense but this Netflix level monthly subscription most apps do is wild. So thanks for providing something I need and at an affordable cost ($40 at the time).

### 5/5 — Good app

*2026-06-03, version 2.4.2.49*

I was looking for an app where I can make my own flash cards for memorizing Spanish words and phrases. I use language apps, but none of them allow me to make my own study material.

### 5/5 — GREAT

*2026-05-17, version 2.4.2.49*

I love it

### 5/5 — 😊

*2026-04-15, version 2.4.2.48*

Very easy to use. Way better than handwriting flashcards.

### 5/5 — Easy and cheap

*2026-03-04, version 2.4.2.47*

I got the 1 year subscription on sale for $7 and worth it. I’m using it to study a menu for a new job and it is easy to categorize and user friendly!

### 5/5 — wowowooww

*2026-02-19, version 2.4.2.46*

i think this app is very simple and straightforward to use and extremely helpful. even if you don’t have the pro version, imo you still get a pretty good deal for free. you can still edit the format of your letters and even share the flash cards with your friend digitally. i also REALLY appreciate the fact that it makes it hard for you to accidentally delete your flash cards. overall, it’s simple, reliable, and it came in clutch SO many times. highly recommend!!! :)

### 5/5 — Simple-Good-Easy

*2026-01-18, version 2.4.2.43*

Still on the free version but probably going to pay for the advanced. Great way to organize sets of flash cards. I’m using it for some topical Bible memory sets.

### 5/5 — Great simple yet flexible flashcards app

*2026-01-16, version 2.4.2.43*

This is a great app, yes you have to pay but it’s cheap enough for the value. I love that you can export /import the .deck files because it enables this pro tip: you can export the file and work with ChatGPT to ingest the format. Then if you have your flashcards in a word doc or something, you can have ChatGPT put take them and put them into the flash card format. It can even apply the styling (coloring parts of the card) by adding in the HTML styling. Then it’ll give you a .deck file which you can re-import. I found this way faster than trying to build out decks manually in the app.

### 5/5 — SUPER USEFULL

*2025-11-20, version 2.4.2.37*

been using it to practice my lines for acting and also for vocab quizzes and honestly save time and paper by writing it all on these flash cards #swag
