### 3/5 — Amazing interface but

*2023-09-02*

Hear me out. I love the app in every way. I has all I need to get my hard wired memorization with a clear and easy interface. My only problem with the app is that when you try to import any “flash card” type of file other than the apps .deck file, you can’t. The files can be exported as .deck files and .csv files. My goal was to go from a .txt file to the .csv file using a python program but come to find out the app can’t even import the things it’s exporting. .csv files are not supported for importing. So I try to adjust my program to convert these .txt to .csv then to .deck to figure out I would have to reverse engineer to figure out how the files are constructed. The lengths I go to in order to use my favorite interface. I pray they fix these issues. Nonetheless the interface is amazing for my personal use. Blunt forcing the info into my brain from one side of the deck to the other, starting over every time I mess up. Then I use the shuffle feature after I’ve made it through completely.

P.s. this app has saved me multiple times after nights I forgot about the test the next morning. 20-30 minutes studying with this method and I was good. When it comes down to it though. What I’m trying to do is use an Ai flash card maker like Revisely to auto generate these cards into txt to make that process even faster in a crunch or for busy bodies.

### 4/5 — A very good app.

I found this helpful in learning French. It is easy to use with no problems.

### 5/5 — Simple & Perfect

Also the price is right — not a subscription!

### 5/5 — Best thing ever

*2021-01-14, version 2.46*

I love it!
I had some hand made ones, but they were so many and I’m on the go a lot. so now that I have it on my phone it’s a lot easier and I have used one other flash card app that I didn’t like at all, which is why I have made them ever since but this time it was just to many to carry around.

### 4/5 — Good App

*2021-01-14, version 2.46*

It is very easy and quick to make flash cards. It would be nice if there were options for editing photos in the app. It took me a while to get used to the controls of flipping or advancing to the next card. It would be nice if each card could be marked as a correct response or not and the app would adjust to help learning.

### 5/5 — Great study tool

### 5/5 — Super helpful for learning language phrases.

*2021-01-06, version 2.46*

This app offers maximum flexibility and is easy to use. I am learning Polish, and have made dozens of different decks of flash cards for different categories. This is helpful for learning at home, but will also be helpful as a reference tool when I travel. If I’m getting ready to use transportation, or dine out, or whatever; I will have a deck on hand for that situation.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Revised rating

*2020-10-19*

“I especially like the adjustments made concerning giving it ratings.”

It seems I was mistaken concerning the review above. After multiple rating recordings yet being asked over and over to rate the app, I have come to the following conclusion:

I have already rated your app multiple times. When I open the app to use and the request to rate it comes up, yet again!, It is annoying to know that I paid for a service but must perform to use it without interruption. I am seriously considering a different app regardless of my earlier, and obviously foolish, financial outlay — though I know in the grand scheme of things it was minimal. The juvenile tactic used to garner more rating begs the question concerning your view of your costumers’ intelligence. I fail to understand why you would drive your customer base away with such obviously manipulative tactics. Why not simply allow a customer to rate your product once and then leave them alone to use it.

### 1/5 — Too simple

*2020-10-07, version 2.46*

This app is too simple.... it literally just flips flash cards back and forth with very basic font editing. You have to make a lot of editing to center your text in the center of your card... they always end up in the top left corner.
SO many features missing that would be good to have like: how to flip answers and details on cards whenever you prefer to study one side of cards instead, merge decks if you want to, a progress report of how many cards and which ones you got right and many more.
Too bad I wasted my money and now I can’t get it refunded.

### 1/5 — Clunky and glitchy

*2020-09-11*

When copying text from websites or articles etc. it creates variances in font size and formatting etc. if you have OCD this drives you insane! The program needs to have an ability to remove all formatting.

**Developer response:** Highlight the text and tap the clear formatting button in the toolbar.

### 1/5 — This app relentlessly hassles you for a review

*2020-06-24, version 2.45*

It is also very average

### 1/5 — DON’T BUY THE PRO!

*2020-03-26, version 2.44*

Don’t buy the pro edition if someone will be sharing their deck with you (instructors/friend). My instructor began to use this as an education tool for us during the Coronavirus quarantine since everything is online now. The instructors are likely using the free version which WILL NOT transfer decks over to the paid version of this app, it will only work in the free version. I reached out to the company to try to fix this issue which they couldn’t. I then requested for a refund since I am not using the pro version and they have stopped responding. Go with Quizlet which lets you access your decks on the computer also

### 1/5 — Expensive with no features

*2020-01-17, version 2.41*

Different coloured flash cards? No
Insert pictures? No
Very very basic app.

### 1/5 — Randomly will not save your cards or completely lose decks

*2019-03-28*

Do not waste your time or money on ANY version of Flash Cards! A few weeks ago when I filled up the first version of Flash Cards, it prompted me to download Flash Cards Pro for a fee. I did, and when transferring decks from original version to the new version “Pro” I lost 2 decks... HOURS of work. I went back and forth with customer service with no help other than telling me to update the app (which I had already done), and an “I don’t know”. A day later one of the decks came through.
Then today, after 2-3 hours of working on a deck, it just simply did not save when I completed the deck. Again, don’t waste your money, and MOST importantly, your time with these apps!!!

### 1/5 — Not working

*2019-03-16, version 2.35*

Not working

### 1/5 — Mickey jm 1

*2018-09-01*

Can’t get pro working

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2015-10-16, version 2.0*

Will not let me create more than 2 decks even after purchase.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — The best there is

*2022-01-23, version 2.47*

Tried a few….this is the best

### 5/5 — Great flash card app for you

*2022-01-22*

I am a comic entertainer and keynote speaker. I need to change my shows/sets often. These flashcards let me memorize effectively. The problem I had with the other brands is they were all Internet dependent. I would be on an airplane or cruise ship and could not practice with my Flash Cards because it needed me to sign in. These do not do that; and that’s a good thing.
These flashcards allow you to switch the order and edit very conveniently. I recommend these flashcards above the others.

### 5/5 — Best flash card app on the App Store

*2021-10-21, version 2.47*

Whether you’re revising for an exam, or learning new vocabulary this app is perfect for that.

### 5/5 — Excellent app.

*2021-06-01, version 2.47*

### 5/5 — Very useful app

*2021-05-26, version 2.47*
