I have deleted the app multiple times and have tried to get it on other devices and its still not working. I really wanted to try it but some courses wont work. ### 4/5 — wont load *2022-12-31* i REALLY wanted to play this game and i have never tried it before but everytime i open it it goes to thid loading page with a bus and it never goes away i have been trying to play this game for 3 ish days and it wont work and im kind of bummed because i think it would be a really cool app. ### 3/5 — It has potential but a few issues *2022-12-11* This is a clever app that uses a lot of repetition to teach language. It uses multiple tools - writing, reading, speaking, hearing and a lot of easy repetition. The problem is that the sound effects cover the ends of the phrase so you can’t really hear the end of the phrase for the chime noise. Also, the letters are too tiny to use on the iPhone and the responsiveness from screen to screen lags a bit. It’s clever and kind of fun, but I need to be able to hear and see what I’m learning. ### 2/5 — Why is only English course available if user choose to be a mandarin speaker? *2021-09-27, version 5.9* If choose to be an English user, then all other language options pop up? Not convenient for Chinese speaker to learn language other than English. Is it because Chinese users focus more on English? ### 3/5 — Updated review *2021-07-14* I got a response from support on how to cancel a subscription since you can’t do it through the app, you have to go through your settings app if you have an iPhone and click your name and then subscriptions. I’m not completely useless with technology and this process was not intuitive for me and a bit frustrating but otherwise it’s a good app ### 4/5 — Good App - Technical Issues *2021-01-26* I am really enjoying using this app! It has lots of good features, and I love playing the games. One thing that seems to be a persistent issue however, is when playing the games (when I get towards the end of the game) my screen goes white, the music continues but no game appears. Sometimes the timer continues and I just let it run out, but other times I have to close the app and reload it for it to work. It’s a shame as it means I don’t get the XP from that game, and it’s even more annoying when I’m doing well, and then it goes wrong! I downloaded the app, made an account and filled out the needed info. But after scanning all the items I can without paying (it was somewhere between 5-10) I honestly just gave up. None of them were correct or even close. First I scanned a pen in my hand and the app told me it was a computer on a desk. Then I scanned a memory card and the app told me it was a close up of a computer. I scanned a heater. Once again it told me it was a computer on a desk. This heater was on the floor… So I tried scanning something with nothing else in the picture. Maybe it was incredibly picky. I scanned my closed book on the ground. It told me it was text. While it isn’t wrong that isn’t what I am looking for. A pair of shoes was a close up of a rug. I’m honestly just curious as to what it will make each item at this point and if I will ever find something the app actually will know, but not curious enough to actually continue to use this app. Great idea, if it actually worked. You are rated by % and it is never even. I make mistakes and get 95% but don’t make any mistakes and get 91%. The function to interpret speech doesn’t work and you often get 0% for pronouncing it properly. There is no contact information to send these queries and they clearly don’t read comments when you report an issue.
