A quieter home screen.

  Flashbulb used to greet you with counters — days elapsed, frames used, exposures remaining. None of that was the point.

  Now it shows two things: the film you can shoot right now, and the roll you've been filling. Your frames sit on a strip you swipe through, the way negatives do.

  Everything else — which day you're on, when the roll develops, how much film you get each day — is one tap away on your roll's name.

  And when a moment opens while you're busy, nothing is recorded. It simply passes.

Your roll now develops in front of you.

  When a roll finishes, it doesn't just appear. The canister opens, the film passes through the bath, and your frames surface as a projected film — paced like an edit, with the projector running. It plays itself. Afterwards, the roll is yours to
  browse any time.
