### 2/5 — Please update

*2025-02-04, version 1.24.2*

When you define a term, the keyboard is in the way of answer with length. In other words, the Flashcards does not scroll so you can see what you are typing.

### 4/5 — Recommended

*2023-10-19, version 1.24.2*

The app is a bit cumbersome but generally user friendly with useful features.

Words can be categorized into practice groups. The term and its definition (or word and its translation) can be practiced in forward or reverse order to benefit both expressing and comprehending the term. As one practices a category, a correct response moves the term into a learned column but a wrong response leaves it in the practice column for a further attempt later on.

For the low price, the unlimited flash card purchase option is a steal.

### 2/5 — Good app but

*2023-09-04, version 1.24.2*

When I signed up online, I all of a sudden got a bunch of spam emails. I think they sell ur email 😭🥺 Disgusting 😡

### 3/5 — Great app, wish better support.

*2023-06-14, version 1.24.2*

I’ve been using the app for a couple of years, creating all sorts of sets for certifications and languages. I even made a spreadsheet that helps formatting for easy importing. The only reason why I’m giving a three star is that the support isn’t responsive. I’ve given suggestions and bug reports, still waiting for answers, and I really am unhappy about that. It’s a good app, but as an example if the number of cards are over a certain amount it’s truncated. I have one set that had 2,868 cards, but in the list it says 28... The names are also truncated. Still, even though the flaws are minor I am happy with the app and still want to use it.

6/13/23 edit: Still happy about the app, still unhappy about the lack of tech support. Anyone else using it able to get a response?

### 2/5 — Crashing issues

*2018-08-24, version 1.24.1*

App continues to crash when I press select “progress” in the upper corner. Many of the flag and red x featured are unavailable without the progress tab.

### 4/5 — Good, but...

*2018-01-10, version 1.24.1*

Needs a card box system to encourage long term retention. Maybe above each card there could be two buttons, “MOVE TO NEXT CARD BOX” and “MOVE BACK TO FIRST CARD BOX”. Simple as that.

### 4/5 — Great App

*2017-11-16, version 1.24.1*

Helpful, convenient and easy to use!

### 3/5 — Good app, but with a glitch.

*2016-08-03, version 1.23*

Good app, but lots of glitches, primarily when moving from horizontal screen to vertical screen. iPhone 6.

### 4/5 — Easy update iPhone from PC

*2016-07-11, version 1.23*

Seamless transition from PC to iPhone. I did have problems with listing items with a return on the PC but showing up with an extra space between the items

### 3/5 — Sync

*2016-05-01, version 1.23*

Im not seeing any option to sign in or to sync my existing flashcards from the website to the app

### 5/5 — Cadet

*2016-01-18, version 1.23*

Really enjoy the fact I do not have to waste a whole of time handwriting flash cards. This app is well design to see the flash card question and answer without effort. It's easy reading on the eyes. I also like the pre search for different topic already created by someone else, so I found myself not having to recreate the subject flash cards. But one thing I would like to see is actual quiz me option.

### 5/5 — Great study aid. Worth £3.99

*2016-01-02, version 1.23*

Easy to navigate and excellent for testifying if you actually know something! Perfect learning tool app.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — You have to buy flips

*2023-12-12, version 1.24.2*

I supported this app on the website and still have to pay 8$ for unlimited flips! Ridiculous!! It also isn’t formatted for new phones

### 1/5 — Bad

*2020-03-18, version 1.24.2*

Why pay when you can go online for free

### 1/5 — Useless after 100 flips

*2019-07-16, version 1.24.2*

Once you use it up, it's no longer useful in the slightest.

### 1/5 — What’s the point?

*2019-01-17, version 1.24.2*

What’s the point of getting the app and paying money for ‘more flips’ when it’s just as easy to log into your Flashcards account online and do flashcard sets without paying.
Everyone keeps telling me to use Quizlet for a better experience, but I’ve been using this site for years and didn’t want to move over my card set. However, Quizlet might just be the next step so that I can use an app for the intended purpose — to just learn.

### 1/5 — Pay for flips

*2018-09-25, version 1.24.1*

Are you freaking joking me? App was great until “running out of flips” ended my study session... garbage

### 1/5 — This app is stupid

*2017-01-25, version 1.23*

I took all my time doing the the terns and definition and you have to purchase flips which is dumb.

Don't waste your time or effort. Might as sell the app and allow people to know from the start they will being pay instead of tricking them.

### 1/5 — Doesn't work on iPad

*2016-03-27, version 1.23*

Very disappointing

### 1/5 — Junk

*2015-10-08, version 1.23*

Didn't have the search option on fully updated iPad 2. Deleted immediately after opening once. Complete waste of my time.

### 1/5 — Waste of time

*2015-02-24, version 1.23*

Wanted to see if the combination worked with the online/desktop version. Made 40 cards there and generated the numeric code that supposedly would allow me to find the cards I had already made. I downloaded the app, logged in, and searched multiple times, but always 0 matches. Complete waste of time. Deleted app once I figured out that I couldn't use it with the desktop version. Will not bother with that either.

### 1/5 — In app $ extortion

*2014-12-27, version 1.21*

Don't waste your time or money. Poorly executed rip off where they want to charge you for every 100 cards. 0 stars as it lasted approx 2 minutes on my iPad before I deleted it

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great app

*2024-05-29, version 1.24.2*

I really like the simplicity and power of this app. I have used it to study many topics.

I recently discovered the import feature, which really saves time & tedium!

### 5/5 — Thanks

*2018-08-07, version 1.24.1*

Seems to be good 😌

### 5/5 — Excellent App

*2017-06-20, version 1.24*

Memorizing is life

### 5/5 — Effective

*2017-04-09, version 1.23*

*2017-02-14, version 1.23*

I can study wherever I go right on my phone and can use pictures, makes studying a breeze

### 5/5 — Useful and easy to Use

*2017-02-01, version 1.23*

Does the job of flashcards perfectly. It's extra functionality for uploading and editing with a PC make it easy to create and edit the cards. Organized and the library of cards is great too. After spending hours developing a set, it's nice to know you can share it.

### 5/5 — Very useful

*2016-12-31, version 1.23*

In fact I'm using it now during a road trip. Obviously, I'm not driving...lol. App is easy and reliable!!!

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2016-08-03, version 1.23*

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2016-03-01, version 1.23*

I like how I can download flash card sets from the website to the app. It's very convenient since I'm always on the go. Great app!

### 5/5 — My girlfriend changed my life

*2016-02-10, version 1.23*

For the past 5 years I hadn't used flash cards. Until now. My feline friend convinced me to begin using them for my Chem class and now I'm one of the top dogs.
