## What is Flashcards?

A flashcard app that shows you each card right before you'd forget it. Free, and everything runs on your iPhone.

Review intervals are set by FSRS-5, a modern spaced repetition algorithm. It calculates the next date for each card from how well you know it, so you never have to redo everything every day.

Features
- A faithful FSRS-5 implementation that schedules reviews from your target retention (90% by default)
- Four rating buttons, each showing the next interval before you tap
- Front-and-back cards, reverse cards, cloze (fill-in-the-blank) cards, and cards with images
- AI card generation from your notes, textbook passages, or PDFs (on devices with Apple Intelligence)
- Bulk import by pasting CSV, TSV, or text
- Undo, skip for today, suspend, and edit cards right from the study screen
- Read aloud, with automatic language detection
- Daily reminders and Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets
- Stats for retention, a study calendar, and upcoming reviews
- Switch between English and Japanese
- Completely free. No ads, no in-app purchases, no account

Your data is stored only on this device. There's no server, so there's no account or login. That also means there's no sync between devices.

Your study history never leaves your device.
