Those big fruit and vegetable boxes & great deals on meat. I currently have a freezer full of ff meat. I was there several times a week at picking up deals. But unfortunately, now FF is no longer working through Lucky’s stores BUMMER!! Flashfood has been a lifesaver for me. The produce is varied, not overly ripe, edible, and delicious. It works best when checked often for updates as the really great deals go super fast, blink and they’re sold to someone faster on the buttons. Some stores do choose to do some underhand tactics such as listing a product that’s best before date is months away and the product is only slightly discounted. Looking at you No Frills with the unsalted butter for $6… which is the normal sale price of unsalted butter. My gosh, 6$ for a brick of butter and that’s the cheap stuff these days. SMH. For those stores it’s buyer beware and pay close attention to the prices. Cherry picking the stores and deals leads to some truly great savings though. Such as 2 pound cartons of blueberries for a $1. Or bars of soap for a third of the price as normal. I have enough bar soap to last years now, cause I’m just so fresh and so clean clean lol But even better then the deals consumers can get is the fact that the Flashfood customer service representative (CSRs) respond promptly to any issue that may arise with a purchase order. The CSRs have always quickly refunded any spoiled food items or items that the store employee missed from the order. I feel very confident and comfortable making purchases knowing that if there is anything amiss Flashfood makes it right for the consumer with the ease of simply putting in a request for help with them. I feel great knowing the CSRs have my back and I feel great buying food that otherwise may have wound up trashed and making methane in the dump. In my opinion this app is a win win for waste reduction and for helping cash strapped consumers stretch their budgets a lot further. I love that you can see what you want daily and check different stores in your area. But be quick because you will be looking at an item and deciding and then it’s gone!! Someone else bought it!!! Recently I haven’t been able to get past the login screen after iPhone restore. I enter my credentials and nothing happens. I submitted a trouble ticket and no response a week later. Clearly this is a major widespread issue based on recent reviews but rather than acknowledging the issue and posting something on the website the company has been silent. Were we hacked? Get it together ### 1/5 — Employees take good stuff *2026-08-31, version 3.10.2* Employees take first dibs on anything worth buying and they also text their family and friends when the deals on good things will be going live so they can be first in line for them. You get left with garbage. Loblaws and Flashfood won’t do anything about it. Also, why do the $5 produce boxes give me 30 oranges that are going to be expiring in the next two days? at least give me an assortment of different fruits and vegetables instead of just being lazy and piling 60 of the same fruits in the same bag. I recently placed an offer and when I went to the store to pick it up, they didn’t have everything I ordered. I requested a refund through the app and after several attempts to give FlashFood the information requested, including the order number, which they confirmed that they that it was correct, I still have not receive my refund.
