Flashlator is a fast, private, offline translator built for digital nomads and travelers who need to communicate anywhere — even without internet.

Translate by typing or speaking. The app auto-detects the language and replies in your target language. Everything happens on your device.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Pick the two languages you'll use during your trip
2. Download the offline language packs once (over Wi-Fi recommended)

4. Tap the speaker icon to hear the translation aloud

New: Camera mode.

- Point your iPhone camera at any object to see its name in English and in your target language, in real time.
- 100% on-device using Apple's Vision framework. Camera frames are analyzed in memory and discarded immediately — never saved, never uploaded, no network requests.
- Camera permission is requested during onboarding and can be revoked at any time in Settings.
- The rest of the app (typed translation, voice input, bookmarks, TTS) works exactly as before.
