Why does the whole GD screen need to slide to other colors? Fill the screen with buttons so when I try to light up something but ah ya its strobe time. No lock feature?! Only other acceptable switch would be a lock so I don’t strobe, color screen selection, or close the app if I lock my phone. I downloaded this app years ago to use as a photo/video accent light. It is unique in that it allows the screen to be purposed as a light source in any color combinations and intensity. It’s honestly one of the few/only free apps that does this and I hope it never goes away. The ability to create a nice fill light or accent light of any color you want for your photos and videos is so useful. Grab a few devices (iPad/phone) and play with this app because it’s great! Devs thank you for this thoughtful app, you should rename it and resubmit to the App Store for this use case. ### 5/5 — Use it often *2019-05-03, version 8.0* When i first found this app, i was surprised to find a clock. I find that i use the clock and funky backgrounds more than the flashlight, although it is handy. It takes a min of playing around with it to get the hang of it, but i have it on all my mobile devices. There’s an interface for customised use of the camera flash torch, which is great, but this is the ONLY app that allows you to use the screen as a nightlight/much softer torch in a fully customisable way without fiddling with settings screens every time. Sometimes you just need enough light not to trip over things and don’t want the strikingly acute light of the flash. Great for the middle of the night, and you can leave your phone sitting face up. The app starts up instantly, and you can slight the brightness up and down with your thumb.. perfect. Recently found a small bug and had to email the developer. He replied 11 mins later, and I soon had a temporary workaround while he worked on it.
