There is built in flash light control by scrolling down from the top right corner on newer phones without a home button or on older phones with a home button scrolling up from the bottom right corner of the screen. 2. Press and hold the button with a picture of a flashlight fill in the bar, or push upwards if it comes up with a flashlight at the top of the screen. 3. Although there isn’t designated flashing, you can always just turn on and off the flashlight a bunch of times. To manually flash it, which seems quicker than downloading and using a designated app. 4. I don’t know if other people this, but I got inappropriate ads along the bottom of my screen ### 2/5 — Ads! The last thing you want while using a flashlight is a colorful moving ad in your face while looking for stuff with the flashlight. Ruined the app. Plus, why does a native iPhone app have ads? HOWEVER, for the last year or so, it randomly turns itself on daily—multiple times—and unless you shut it down, it quickly empties the phone battery. So you need to go to the app, switch it to “on” and then switch it off again. A huge bother. Also, on occasion it toggles to the different strobe lights and again, you have to restart the app to turn off this bothersome issue. So unless this bug is fixed in the next month, guess who’ll erase it and install someone else’s app? Boo hoo! PLEASE fix this issue—it’s hard to imagine this is the only phone experiencing this bug. I had to buy an app to *crop photos*! Isn’t that insane? How did people who can’t discern the horizon manage? There must have been some kind of basic editing tools for photos but I don’t recall. Some of the flashlight apps have SOS and color change. It was only recently dimming became possible on iPhones. I dunno. This is still useful for anyone who can’t handle pulling down to access controls but can scroll through screens. I installed a flashlight on a guy’s phone and not 10 minutes later he said he needed to get a flashlight.
